Having the hips open and having that right foot perpendicular to the left helps create that sweep I'm looking for. I will definitely be using this when we do south Africans!!

That must be difficult to answer because I and many other have asked without ever receiving a reply.

GetReal505 I found what they use. It's a softmed medicine ball. Look it up in Google

@@TheBullWillWin I've found plenty of those, but most don't recommend they be thrown against a hard surface. I'd like to know which ones have been proven to be durable enough to be used for this purpose. I know there are some selling for around $45 that are marketed as indoor practice balls, but that's kind of expensive when I have to pay for my athletes' implements from my own pocket.

@@TheBullWillWin That is one I had found, but I wasn't sure if it could be used against a wall. I was hoping to hear from someone who had actually used them. Thanks for the info.

Charlotte Alice-Rose Button this is a common progression used in Training. It could be used in completion if the thrower started and completed the throw inside the circle, but it is not intended to be used in comp. . It’s intended to teach linear portion of the throw as discussed in the video 👊.
