@@Someoneonyoutubelol He used all of his money on the candy which caused him to not have it before spending it? That makes sense from a RockBottom's logic, I guess.
" *i guess grandpa squarepants was right don't run after a bus. especially when it's going up at a 90° angle* " my favorite line from episode rock bottom
Spongebob actually had some attitude and a sharp edge on him then, in this season. He can be seen visibly growling and fussing and ranting when angry. That went away for awhile
Yeah, I mean, unless they actually watched the episode “Can You Spare A Dime?”, I highly doubt that kids today would believe you if you told them that SpongeBob actually once STRANGLED Mr Krabs!
@@ciarangleeson2880’Can You Spare A Dime’ did everything differently -Squidward annoys SpongeBob -SpongeBob is the one who snaps -Mr Krabs and his money
I Love those old SpongeBob episodes, they are funny and interesting. It is no surprise the driver is so mad after all the hits. The whole rockbottom situation feels so different between another episodes but this made it so Spechial. Lol the green fish was a busdriver and after a while he eat the chum bucket stuff.
Roads are not a straight lines, right? So here's an alternative explanation: It's the same bus driver returning and driving in a circle to mess with Spongebob, like the one visual gag with the cars in Top Secret! (80's comedy).
Maybe Plankton thought if he got rid of SpongeBob, the whole Krusty Krab would go down, letting him basically walk right I and take the formula no problem. So, in order to do that, he hired the bus driver to look out for him and strand him in rock bottom when he found him. And so he did, but he also decided to torture SpongeBob as revenge for hitting him with the balloon. After that, Nat was paid, and Plankton forgot about him, and Karen remembered him for later, that's why she hired him to pretend to like chum.
At 5:00. I used to work in retail, we are trained to spot fake things like money and IDs. The workers here are just doing their jobs and coming in as a "prank" or "joke" to try and sell a fake game is theft. It is likely these guys have had this issue with actual customers before and this was just another asshat coming in to be a bother. I am glad they were banned from all stores. I wouldn't find this funny either.
i work in retail and I'd find it hilarious it also makes you less susceptible to trolling by not taking it seriously as long as no harm or damage is done
I always loved the wholesome ending with that fish, what makes it even more mystical weird or some word i dont know is that we never see that fish ever again, its just so unforgetable for me
Patrick wouldn't leave SpongeBob behind on purpose - but he probably would do it without thinking things through. Don't forget how he also walloped SpongeBob with his rock when dreaming about spiders in the other episode. I just think the driver had enough after getting smacked by the balloon, kicked them off, and radio'd the other drivers on how much trouble SpongeBob would be as a passenger.
no the theory is that the bus driver got punched by spongebob and now hes taking revenge by telling all bus drivers to not pick up spongebob i do think that it is not that deep tho
I do think you make a good point that the bus driver probably dropped Spongebob off at Rockbottom and left him alone on purpose just for accidentally slapping him with his balloon, and then called all the other bus drivers to leave him there, but I don't think he's the character you're talking about. After all, someone called out Alex Bale on his first ever Spongebob theory, since he was using so many similar looking characters for evidence. This person explained how the writers were using the same models for many different characters, so this bus driver is a completely different person.
7:44 i found this on incidental 41: Incidental 41,[1] also known as one of the fish at snack bar, Incidental 41Baby, Baby 41,[2] Incidental 41Zombie, the bus driver, BusinessFish 41, Incidental FG4, RobotInc 1, and Marty, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants." He is likely classified as a hotdog-type incidental.
ok here is a fun fact, irl buses don't have to stop for passengers if there is nobody there, so the bus drivers were stopping there, just to torment spongebob, also something only 1 bus is seem coming from the left side, the rest come from the right side
Rock bottom reminds me of the Hyrule Depths from Tears Of The Kingdom. I can just imagine myself looking at rock bottom, and hearing that tuba that plays as you explore the depths.
if he wasn't even a bus driver, why would the other bus drivers listen to him to not pick up spongebob in rock bottom. there is only one way to test this theory. spongebob disguises himself as a bench again, this time throw a note at the bus driver immediately. and while he is distracted, sneak on the bus , Even putting the fair in. if the driver forced spongebob off, despite paying the fair, we would know for sure.
@@TheRealAxolotlAnimates obviously not, though later episodes have seen him return to Rock bottom, though this hasn't occurred. all we can do is speculate, which is precisely what this video does.
i think the busses are the same and its the same bus driver bro got fed up with the balloon abuse so he decided to unleash psychological warfare on spongebob by simply trolling him all night. and when patrick gets on the bus and goes back to get spongebob its the same bus driver!
I have a theory: In almost all episodes, Spongebob is the only sponge you see. So my theory is, sponges in the Spongebob universe are dying and they are about to go extinct. I don't know if this has already been talked about but its crazy.
This kinda reminds me of the episode where Spongebob got an abrasive side & missed the bus an extra 3 times. Season 7, Episode 19a: The Abrasive Side; Spongebob & Patrick are planning on spending the day at Glove World, but before getting on the bus, Spongebob get stopped by Sandy, Mr Krabs & his own grandma, therefore missing the bus 3 times. When another bus leaves for the 4th time, Patrick has returned from Glove World.
Patrick is a good Friend, Maybe not always perfect and sometimes slow in Mind but when Spongebob really needs him then Patrick is trying everything that he knows from his Basic Mind to at least be there for him. If i need to Pick up 2 Characters from the Show that i would call Spongebobs best Friends then those two would be Patrick and Sandy. Squidward would also have a lot of Potential to be a good Friend if he would try because we see how much he can Support when even Spongebob is done with everything. Overall i would say Squidward is Maybe not Best Friends with him but is at least a good Support on Work if Spongebob really needs help and advice
this unlocked a vaguely repressed memory that I had a substitute bus driver in 1st? grade that did every stop right and when it came to the last stop my friend and I kept telling him he passed ours. Well he didnt stop and 15 minutes later we broke down in the middle of nowehre in the desert, and he had to call the school, and our parents. and my mom had to come pick us up. like wtf....surprised we werent diddled right then n there tbh, no idea where he was going
Despite sharing the same character design, I believe Nat and the bus driver are different characters. After all most of the background characters doesn't still consistent as individuals.
I heard about a theory that spongebob was abandoned on purpose. They wanted to get rid of him. His grandpa has warned him, because he also was unwanted
He goes down rock against his will. It was a kidnapping. Nat has a thing against SpongeBob. They said his name once where he was Planktons number 1 daily customer making Krabs jealous.
Not to mention he said the thing about his grandpa which might mean that the same thing happened to him, as well. 4:17 Yes, SpongeBob has a nice waist.
while it's fun to imagine the bus driver blacklisting spongebob, that's not really the point. the point is that he's ended up in rock bottom, which is both the name of the town he's in and the idiomatic concept of the same name -- creative that the writers thought "let's take this common phrase and make it a real place." and in rock bottom, everything is turned upside-down and it seems that the laws of reality are bent in order to make everything as difficult as possible. not because of the bus driver or anything, but because he's "at rock bottom" and this is just what happens there. it's the place that's responsible, not the person. i'll start with the patrick thing, since that sets the tone for the comedy of the rest of the episode, and thematically re-emerges at the end. the fact that patrick (dumb as he is) is able to somehow fall ass backwards onto a bus going back to bikini bottom, while spongebob (who is supposed to be more crafty) spends the rest of the night (and the rest of the episode) unable to do the same -- all while trying as absolutely hard as he can -- is funny. the fact that there's only a limited number of buses before the end of the night, and spongebob keeps missing them in such creative and interesting ways -- to the point where it's clear the buses are deliberately missing him instead of the other way around -- is also funny. and when he goes to the bus station, and has to wait in the longest line you can imagine, only to end up at the counter right before closing time to miss one final bus -- that's funny. (surely, the bus driver from the beginning couldn't have possibly orchestrated that long line of passengers at the bus station, and i think that's another major point against your bus driver theory). it's only when spongebob gives into the upside-down nature of rock bottom, gives up running vertically up the cliff, /gives up on making it back to bikini bottom/, that's when he's finally able to leave. and that's the cherry on top. the only way to leave rock bottom is to not try to leave rock bottom, which is the opposite of what you'd do if you wanted to leave anywhere else.
I have a theory. Maybe Plankton found out that Karen paid that guy to eat chum from Plankton's restaurant, or just found out about this guy himself, and then Plankton decided to hire this fish guy (bruh I just forgot his name) in order to get the main Krabby Patty secret formula defence - SpongeBob, out of the way. Therefore leaving him with more chances to steal it. Let me know what you think.
Me and my friend are like Patrick in SpongeBob Cause there was one time I gave my friend my sweater because she forgot hers and it started raining, so I just let her use my sweater. It was all fine.
what if matt was just filling in for a friend or sum and bc he knew he wouldn’t have to deal with repercussions he jus crashed out and kidnapped bro after he got mad
Wild take but what if karen paid the same guy to get spongebob stuck in rock bottom so plankton could try to get the formula once spongebob is away. There would be no spongebob to ruin plankton's plans for a while so I think this could make sense
There’s no way Patrick can accidentally get on the bus. Me: Yes he can he’s Patrick When Gary went missing he saw him in the shop and didn’t tell SpongeBob
