No arch on the whole uniform (besides the patch) is absolutely ridiculous! When you think of Saint Louis you think of the arch. The hat is boring and the same red color for the uniform is lame. Very disappointed, especially because I’m a cardinals fan.

The hat is pretty boring. But I am happy they kept the Cardinal on the bat logo on the jersey. Also, white pants were a good choice.

Though I no longer live there, I am still a Cardinal fan. You are correct that the hat is stupid boring. As for “The Lou” it is the nickname for St.Louis and popularized by Nelly. Apparently you only hang out with ppl who only travel past Hwy 270 for games. I have no problem w the uniform top it could be better but this is the problem w The Lou and the ppl who make decisions they have no vision, no creativity , no style, no swag!

I have never heard St. Louis known as "The Lou" (and I hope I never do)! Why not "Gateway City" on the front of their jersey? The only smart move on this "city connect" is the team patch on the left sleeve (which actually should be on the cap).

Or just not have a City Connect to begin with? That’s the real answer haha. I think no matter what they did, it would’ve looked goofy. St. Louis always looks great on a jersey, why mess with that? Thanks for the comment!

@@bcsports_ I agree! It's all about Nike wastefully looking at ways to make more money! They can keep the city connects and put team jerseys back to their previous styling. NO ONE asked for any changes in the first place!

Its kinda weird. The black community is the one that uses "The Lou" the most.. Looks to be a failed attempt to get some new fans with "stye".

Nelly coined the phrase "From The Lou" a very long time ago, but no its not common slang among the black community... also when Im out of town I just simply say Im from St.Louis

The Lou is definitely a real nickname for STL. It's common in the inner city.

Do they know that In England the bathroom Is referred to as "The Loo"? The St. Louis Loos! What that jersey needs Is a toilet emblem on the left shoulder. 🚽🧻🤪
