Love these type of videos by Nep where he just goes off on a tangent. Ea really have been neglecting the core community this year. Everything is driven towards the store and fifa points and they seen to give us less and less every year.

Will never understand how they don’t do more game modes like the tournament for Rues and Aubameyang in Fifa 16. The tournament grind was one of the best aspects of Fifa I’ve ever played imo

I couldn't agree more with this. After playing FUT from the start, when it was such a cool and fun concept of building a team with your favourite players. Bidding wars with people to get a rare gold player you want was fun. When packing an IF in February was actually exciting as they could still boost your team. Now we're in a place where packing a 90 rated IF or gold card is just general fodder, where having an 88 rated gold team at this point isn't enough. I admit, like many at this point I already have a team that could rival most of my end game teams of the past, but I played casually and didn't even have to try, and it's just no fun. Previously it would be like no other games even existed, I would just want to play FIFA. Now I just check FUTbin to see if it's even worth turning on.

I know for a fact that EA don’t bother reading our comments, but when big creators like Nep speak for us, there’s a hope that a message is delivered, eventually.

I just want one thing from EA. Being able to change the match length in squad battles.

My first time playing FUT for about ten years, naively ploughed through rivals to get to division 2 and now can’t win a game on homegrown eleven because I’m playing against absolute psychopaths… Grinded out hundreds of packs for TOTY and didn’t pack a single player, yet 90% of my opponents have at least 2/3 TOTY players which makes me think, how much time/money have they spent to get those because I’ve got nothing and completed every SBC and objective under the sun!

More than getting a pretty good team easily, it’s the fact that there is no gap from bad team to good team but then this impossible hurdle to great team that either requires all your money or more than all your time

It’s exactly the same for me in fifa. Play rivals, squad battles and champs. Don’t pack anything in the promo from rewards. Save my fodder. Slap it in an icon pack. Get shat on. Rinse and repeat.

Sadly I completely agree with Nep. But I think the biggest problem is the gameplay. There are huge bugs with the ai and how a team defends. And it's less how well I can defend and more like how, as a player, can I correct the flaws my defense is creating. Add in the fact that you can score bicycle kicks off every corner with a 38 SHO center half, and it makes me not note even care about trying to grind. Like what's the point of sweating out Champs, trying to upgrade my squad, trying to correct my ai defending against every team with 6 icons and potm mbappe, and they score off a near post bicycle kick?

EA just needs to add a random online match mode where you just get paired up with whoever is online and not necessarily based on skill. With less intense game modes it makes people want to come up with unique teams instead of the same 5-6 players every game.

Hopped on fifa today and enjoyed it, haven't played in over a month and coming back to it was rather refreshing, it might be because I've just jumped on to content City with all these SBCs but the game is a tough watch half the time.

I think it would be really cool to have a mode where your overall team rating was capped at 85/86 so that more cards were viable. It can also be gold minimum so you couldn’t bronze bench

This is my observation, Nep I've been watching your channel for years and years, I can't even remember when I started watching, but I remember you trying to get Elite rewards and the rage and anger you used to go through, and now you say it's become too easy?, but the problem back then was it was too difficult, I get you don't feel the same sense of accomplishment but it's not like your getting 20-0 if you were getting 20-0 I could understand you saying the game is too easy, yes I agree the player's should be harder to obtain, but the really top tier cards are still difficult to obtain, player's like Cruyff, R9 etc. The game still gives you plenty to play for especially with more and more promos each week, I rather have the player's easier to obtain rather than it being difficult and the only way you are able to get the top player's is through spending FIFA points, the way they have it now is you can play the game and get a top tier team, before you would end up not spending money on FIFA points and have a top tier team at the end of the FIFA cycle, and what's the point in that you don't even get to use your top team in the prime of the game cycle. The position your in is you play this game for your job and have done for year's on year's, you really do underestimate the time the rest of us have to play this game. Your the rare 1% who has endless time to grind and play the game so it's fine for you if they make player's more difficult to obtain as you have unlimited access to FIFA points and time. Now more than ever you don't have to waste money on FIFA points, and if you've noticed when EA release promo packs more and more that you can buy with FIFA point's are becoming untradable, and they have a limited amount of tradable promo packs they release. Everytime I look at the promo packs it's pretty difficult to spend FIFA points now and get loads of coins like you were able too before, I think it's more balanced now more than ever, everyone has a top tier team and there's no excuses going into FUT Champs, "that I lost because my team is behind the power curve". You'll say what's the point of playing FUT Champs as the rewards are not worth it, yeah I agree but then again the sense of competition and the joy of winning some of us live for, and enjoy more than anything else. Why do you play FUT Champs?, it's definitely not for the rewards as your in a position you can get any card on this game. Rivals is too sweaty for you, I just don't understand what your actually looking for from this game.

I think one problem is also that EA just floods the game with all these promos to keep people engaged, but just completely looses all track of the reality of football and the players. FUT cards arent based in reality anymore, players pretty much have no weaknesses anymore, everybody has 90 pace, 90 shooting, 90 dribbling, otherwise the cards will be deemed unusable, because the game every year pretty much only allows a 1 or 2 play styles. In the past you had team of the week where an update was earned in real life. The promos in the new FIFA mostly dont even make sense, like f.e. Winter Wildcards. Thats literally just a promo "Lets make some wild cards.". Or the new TOTY icons, what is even the point? Why does David Beckham TOTY Icon has 91 pace? These are just updates to make the cards usable, but not to make the game better or offer a gameplay solution to make him usable. At this stage you can pretty much just delete the player behind the cards and take comic or superhero characters. Oh, they pretty much did that with WC heroes.

Glad you’ve made a video like this Nep! The last 2 FIFA’s in a row I’ve gotten to team of the year and then the game becomes so boring, maybe even before toty. I’m already playing career mode and having a lot more fun

Remember in past Fifa's when they had Silver weekend leagues, or Prem only weekend leagues, everybody complained.

I think its spot on about the lack of game modes where creativity is encouraged. Saddest part is that seasons still exist outside of FUT

I haven’t played this for genuinely 4 months I find absolutely no interest in this game anymore. I used to love firing the game up at 6 and staying on it for hours, now it’s completely different I don’t even log on anymore. This is the first time in years I haven’t played while toty is on, to me this game died in October, I logged on today and played a game was winning 2-1 and just quit because I was so bored, even down to other game modes such as career mode I’ve been playing football manager recently and I’ve realised how restricted career mode is. It’s sad too see a game I spent many years grinding trying to get the best team I could just crumble. I genuinely hope that something changes for ea fc

The main problem with FIFA is a cultural issue. The developers have done as much as they can to remove human error from the game, this is why the game is so repetitive. They want everyone to be good and have a chance, instead of letting merit be the deciding factor.

New year, same fifa. I will repeat what I always say. Too many cards = ruined game. Pull back on some of these ridiculous cards and make it more challenging again and it’ll sort these problems out!

I agree with absolutely everything you said honestly the buz i used to get whilst grinding fifa during lockdown was amazing I used to save packs for promos I used to play all game modes to get as many packs as I could to try and pack new exciting cards whereas now I just mindlessly log on to the game every night to see what rubbish came out and it almost feels like a chore

Im not sure if everyone agrees but its just impossible to pack any good promo cards. Whether you spend fifa points or its pure RTG. I think the pack weight is really bad this year compared to other years

Some of these things are really just problems of a skilled based game in general. I.E the sandbagging and not moving up the divisions on purpose. A lot of online multiplayer games have that problem. Let’s say EA gets rid of divisions in rivals you just match up and play. People that normally would be in div 7-10 matching up randomly with people far better than them is bad for engagement because they’ll just go play something else or stop playing that game mode in general then it’s immediately back to being a sweaty game mode.killing the game even faster. I don’t believe theres a way to fix rivals without it hurting a segment of the community. Fixes for squad battles would be lessening that amount of games and speeding up the game it’s 6 minutes halves that should be 4, theirs no reason why 1 game of squad battles should take 15-20 minutes.

tbh this year is the first year I haven't had fomo for objective players and I don't think it's because of a lack of engagement, but from a lack of quality of players. Where is a kounde rttf or a ziyech moments (90 rated mind you during toty) type player? And that's just thinking off the top of my head. Player objectives need to do better, I nearly don't even check who gets released because I know it's never getting into my team. Anyways, great vid nep as always

Couldn't agree more, tried to make fifa enjoyable a month ago (I quit around 2 weeks into the WC promo because it was so bad) by building my dream teams, but getting the coins for the teams is nearly impossible, the best IF you can pack is 50k everyweek, and it is nothing, the gold market is on the floor to the point where I don't even get excited about packing son, salah, messi, ronaldo, cuz they are worthless. The game is straight up just trying to suck up as much money as possible nowadays, and it is sad

The main issue is the gameplay if the game was enjoyable to play there’d be no problem I haven’t played a full game in weeks cause the amount of bs that happens and I refuse to sweat and use the op mechanisms so won’t be able to win which is ridiculous

for the first half of the game i enjoyed it, the second half made me fall out of love with it. which is crazy.

I’ve been building a Bundesliga All Star team and the Lindstrom was a nice match with my 89 Reus but after playing 12 of the 30+ games I really don’t have the energy to play more SB games and If I play rivals I have to start the 84 which like you said, puts me at a disadvantage.

Totally agree with the majority of what you've said here, Nep. I made about 700k coins early doors clubstocking bronze/silvers etc from Top 5 Leagues. Took the profit usually every week for the first few weeks, when they dropped the "specific requirement" SBCs with some of the blocks filled in. Since the WC, I've done nothing in the way of trading etc. I stocked up on WC nation Bronzes/Silvers and the specific nation SBCs for the WC and general content was disgustingly bad and lazy. If I recall, we got a Senegal SBC that didn't even require a Senegal player! The content keeps coming daily - as you've mentioned. But its sub-par and lazy again. Quantity not Quality as you said. I have no desire to sit, playing for untradeable rewards and the odd 5k tradeable pack here and there. I used to buy a few Fifa Points for the main promos, or if there was a specific card I was aiming for - I can tell you now, that's changed for me this year. Not a fucking penny. They continue to alienate their player base by manipulating things to line their own pockets. Its time they woke up and realise, but they won't... they couldn't give a toss.

For me it’s only fun after not playing for a while but my team starts to get more below average. Now I don’t even play it for fun I just play to keep a good team.

Completely agree I find myself asking every day why I play this game. I’ve played over 1300 games already across all modes and am burnt out and find myself full resentment and sadness because fifa used to be my escape now it feels like a chore because I hold on to the memories and hope they bring them back.

Maybe do a mode for cards or rewards where it’s similar to a fut draft but it uses the cards in your club so you get a pick of 5 in each position. Maybe a minimum amount of cards or different minimums in different modes so you can’t just get your 11 best players. Then it would incentivise getting a bigger club with better players so people would be more inclined to complete objectives or sbc’s that they might not before in order to have better picks in the fut draft?

100% agree its to easy to get a good team a 90%-95% team but to hard to get the 100% team. I would rather it be harder to get the 90% team so you have something to grind towards. Or as you say a different game mode. Ive delayed buying this year but got 5 weeks ago and already have a great team and have got 14 wins in champs

The matchmaking in friendlies is so strict, me and my Co op partner are both div 1/elite division players, and both live in the same region, snipe each other in the Friendly modes. It works for us because we get the objectives done easily, such as silver stars etc, but it really shouldn’t be that way.

I’ll sum up this game in one quote that I’ve heard on stream. The modes that are meant to be competitive are too casual and the modes that are meant to be casual are too competitive

played FUT for the first time last year and already I feel exactly the same. As someone who loves football I always want to play this game but EA are making it progressively harder to want to play this game.

As I’m listening to this while doing the silver lounge objective, I’m actually having fun because the game is about actual passing with the players instead of wiggling and having Mbappe do the stanky leg every 2 seconds and then trivela shot from 30 yards. Honestly, FUT champs and rivals need to have restrictions sometimes, like only common gold players or only silver players.

EA are consistently taking away. ,SBCs are give more than you get in return. Packs cost more coins forcing you to use points and now they push untradable packs. The game is on a slippery slope and it needs some serious competition.

I’ve played this game since it started in 93 on the mega drive, all in all fifa has been the best ‘representation’ of football in terms of playability over the years despite the challenges of ISS pro, This is football, PES nearly toppled them in the early noughties but since UT started it has gone downhill, the first couple of years they got the blend of gameplay/content right but slowly the focus on gameplay, other than when they release cups/objectives to get engagement numbers up to show the bosses upstairs how amazing things are, has dwindled and they churn out more content each year, new promos. All for the cash grab. Sadly it’s working as they keep selling out the packs the figures are growing each year so they don’t need to change it when they are making more and more with 0 effort required. The ever growing push towards untradables is another way for them to cut down on making coins/buying coins elsewhere as the usually tradable big packs for promos are all untradable this year especially. Very minimal tradable packs back from MM/league sbcs, 1 or 2 tradable packs a week from rivals which unless you want to sweat your balls off each week in high divisions the packs are very small value. I love playing fifa and will continue to hold out hope of a better game next year or a new challenger overtaking them 🤞🏽

Defenders catching my 98 pace player is what I can't understand, it drives me away from the game tbh.

Promotions and relegations in rivals could be such a cool concept even if it would be sweatier it would make an insentuve to play j a though maybe for next year

I think the community is somewhat to blame. All of us were complaining about ‘nontent’ since the start of the game and now the constant flow of content has made the power curve too high to enjoy anything that isn’t ‘meta’.

Friendlies tied to objectives for rewards with limited metas. Examples: Only MLS players. 5 Spanish players, 6 French players. One player from one club max. This will allow areas to play the game with new cards that would otherwise be “irrelevant”

Just passing the 24 min of the video and I’ve agreed with everything you’ve said so far the sbcs are horrendous and the meta sbcs are well to expensive eg pogba,mbappe and I would also prefer quality to quantity on the player sbcs we get,personally for me the game died in November in which I took at 2 month break and got back to it early January

Agree with most of the things said. That being said most of us who have played the game for years are just going to get bored at some point and it is what it is. I took 2 months off came back and the game is interesting again. Playing the same thing for 10 years straight is just going to get boring

Just to say that swaps for this promo seems to be harder to get than ever before since a lot you have to now play for and win.

I wish I could use my other cards I don't get to use often online for example a ligue 1 team or a la Liga team where I have to use them players for a competition or only use a 87 rated squad instead of a sweat team. Icon swaps before we could use different teams for friendlies and I really enjoyed that.

Whilst i agree with some of the things you say, i also feel like some of this video has a very 'i dont want to do it/i cba to do it therefore it's bad' feel to it. I genuinely think a 'Pack Only' RTG would work very well this year. A very strict Pack Only RTG....cant use the market at all, meaning if you havent got the cards in your club, you cant do a certain SBC or objective. With pack weight so bad this year, i dont think it would be that 'easy' to get a top team. I do agree with the engagement aspect....i used to watch you whenever you are live, last cpl of weeks not so much as your current content just isnt for me. And thats down to whats in the game and your thoughts and cares towards it. I hope things turn around, i'm the same age as you and so relate to you quite alot.

Every video he makes about his feelings about the state of FIFA are exactly mine. Back then I would get pissed about these types of things but now it is almost acceptance and I do not want to feel that feeling of acceptance.

I haven’t played since ‘19 so it’s a bit fun for me as I haven’t seen most of these SBCs and Objectives before but I can see how it will become really boring really fast if it’s the same every year. Age might be a factor but I don’t think it’s definitive as engaging content will keep you playing no matter what. I’ll be laying something at 70 but only if it’s engaging.

'so easy to get a competitive team and impossible to get any further' 14 or 16 wins, rivals sometimes cause is sweat af, friendlys become more sweaty than rivals and champs at 16 wins together, objectives asking you to play 30 games on battles or rivals to get ONE FUCKING 88 FODDER while sbcs asking for thousands of 88 SQUADS... and EA's creativity boils down to friendlys cups with a annoying daily limit of matches... Hi, as someone who stopped playing fifa since fifa 21, i can relate to nepenthez' feelings/thoughts. Honestly, i have nothing but respect to those that have the patience to cope with the game's problematics that have been going on for forever. I always wished ea would give back to the people cuz thats what they earn, but i guess some companies only think about their pockets. Love & peace every-1 ✌️

The sad thing is.. its never gonna change. Ea doesnt care about the community, the care about making money.

I love this and totally agree. Something needs to be done, but can it. I feel if all the main streamers and their followers got together we could possibly create a change.

Tbh games still fun for me but have packed nice players and taken weeks of breaks of playing throughout the year and suddenly recently enjoy playing again but maybe taking breaks helps keep it alive for yourself

As a div 1 player rivals is miserable people go up a goal and pass it around like it’s the World Cup final it’s so annoying nobody plays for fun in rivals just sweat lords trying there hearts out not having any fun

Love to see you get in with a few other guys like you mentioned at the end.. id love to see Fuzzball40 and ItalianStallion in there, as they too genuinely love fifa but hate the state it is in.. and all have valid ideas on how and what needs to improve..

If i could give you ten thumbs up, I would, excellent take on pretty much everything. I am a casual player; job, family, never spent a penny on this game aside from buying it and so much of what you said about cards being released still being usable for many, but almost impossible to get for many rings so true for me. Along with the terrible pack weights and 90% of rewards being untradeable, this game is an exercise in frustration for me, a casual player. Thanks for making this video and saying what so many of us 'casuals' are really thinking/feeling.

LIke Tournament used to be...with requirements to use all silver.... or LOw rated players.... or mixer of leagues... // Rewards can be smaller than WL... but at least people can play is from MOnday till Friday.... Daily/Weekly tournaments for players/packs sweaty but fun… taken away League sbcs for all teams in that league some were expensive but the collection book type feel to completing a whole league for 20 packs plus a 85-88 rated player for fodder at the end fun… taken away Being able to build a coin balance is impossible with untradeable rewards in every area. So what if I grind for hours for tradeable rewards and make 2 million coins to buy a insane striker everyone gradually has mental teams anyway and if someone is better then me they’ll win whether I have R9 or not. Logging onto fifa to complete rivals/champs has become daunting now rather then fun. I do 3 rivals wins 5 qualifiers wins and 9-11 in weekend league lol. Maybe a random objective if it’s good foddaaaa

Completey agree only play fut champs Friday Saturday, Sunday do my divisions Thursday qualify for fut champs boring as fuck full league sbcs were good when they where still in, feels like a chore playing the game

Hey Nep, not sure about anyone else but in all honesty, what you said toward the end of the vid about people logging on, checking what's there and logging off.. tbh I can't even be assed to do that anymore. I just watch your 6pm content and then decide whether it's worth logging in on the day or not... I don't think I've logged into this game since last Tuesday for the last daily login sbc during TOTY, simply because the content I see on the game from what you post isn't worth me switching on my console

There is just too much SBMM in the modes even friendlies. That burns you out so quickly. Champs right now is the most fun mode cause the matchmaking in the beginning is somewhat casual. They need to add more fun modes to the game honestly. I think the gameplay this year is pretty good.

First of all, PLEASE DO get together with other COntent creators and make a 1 hour or so video exchanging your opinions about the state if FIFA. ALL GAMERS would love that! (Like Inception/ NickRTFM/ Boras/ AuzioFM...etc). That would be AWSOME to listen to that live discussion.

Great point, it is way too easy. I went down to 1k and nothing in my club during toty and I'm already back to 500k+ liquid whilst playing only 3-4 days a week. I think I'm most sad about how sweaty they made friendlies... I did almost every objective card last year, this year I've only really done Richarlison otw & I honestly can't remember any others

my account is Fut Founder, so ive been playing since 09 and the state of the game now is way worse, i dont know how ea do it, there is more game modes now than back then, but yet the game has never been more boring than it is now

Nep simply needs to do Rivals to Glory where he only plays that account for one specific day every week.

I ground out the swaps for future stars did the packs to get the fodder and the amount of duplicates I got was insane. PS. It was all gold 😢😢😢😢😢. I had nowhere to put it. Cause I didn’t have enough higher rated cards in my club to do the rest of the SBC’s.

To me the issue isn't how easy it is to get a good squad, we asked for that, we wanted that. It's actually good, if there ever was a year to not spend money on fifa points and still get a fantastic team, this is it. The issue is gameplay and gamemodes. Gameplay just hasn't improved at all, there are some small changes but overall it feels the same as fifa 20, 21, and so on. It needs to improve, the game should be more manual, it should reward people that actually use their brain to play instead of relying on AI to defend for them. They should make changes to the net code to improve connection across the board and make it so that people can win based on skill and not on the quality of connection. As for gamemodes. Here's how the week of fifa goes for a good amount of the people that play this game: play champs qualification, play to 8 wins in rivals, and you are done for the week. The weekend comes, play champs finals, get you rewards, start the cycle again by playing qualification, rivals... maybe you'll play a draft or two, get bored after not getting the 15k back. There just doesn't exist variety in gamemodes. We have all of these promo cards and 99% of them don't even make it into the bench of my main team. I want more gamemodes, I want a gamemode where I can take my FC Porto past and present squad, play and have fun with. Right now if I take that team into champs or rivals I will get destroyed. We need tournaments back, we need a Champions League tournament, a Libertadores/Sud tournament, a random tournament to take quirky and fun teams without getting punished by someone with all the icons and TOTY's that we see in rivals/champs. The only new thing they introduced to gameplay was moments and we all know how that is going, it's boring and nobody play's it despite the fact that the mode actually has tremendous potential to be something fun. EA doesn't put the effort because they don't need to, because despite all our complaints they are still making tons of money from casuals, and from whales that spend loads of their disposable income in this game. The sad truth is that this game will never be what we want it to be, if things keep going the way they are fifa or EA Sports FC will never reach it's full potential. And as long as there isn't a true competitor to the game, I think we won't see any drastic changes.

I haven’t played in a month or logged in. Been playing other great single player games and enjoying it a lot more. Iv played every year and iv said I’m done in the past and then would come back or keep checking content everyday. Now I don’t even check content or anything there’s no desire at all to ever play fifa again despite playing since before ultimate team existed

They should have made those card available in rivals,champs or even managerial masterpiece but MM has been touched in months but now with this Gordon card maybe you don't have like so much time or you aren't that good to get say the 6 wins like I've seen so many people in the qualifications that aren't really that great at the game for them they would struggle to get the card so I can understand why they put squad battles and rivals because in rivals you can just quit and go to the next game or maybe help people do the challenges and then leave so it makes it easier that's why I don't like this whole qualifications thing because say the guy gets 3 wins and he is currently playing the game and is losing say 3-4 and gets kicked off the server but he could have clearly came back in the game and gets a loss for it then say he is division 10 now because of the season reset he would have to grind all the way back to get enough points to qualify again just to finish the card and may or may not be able to get into champs so it kinda sucks they should have just kept it to rivals or managerial masterpiece because you can atleast help people do it

I agree with everything you said in this video Nep. People don’t play fifa like they used to because ea is doing a good job w engaging people. I used to grind this game since fifa 16 and don’t play the game at all anymore because it’s dead. Hopefully they can listen to the community and it can be better next year

This my first game back since FIFA 17, the amount of content that gets released now a days is crazy. Almost every card looks the same though like what’s the point of playing or getting them lmao. The gold card days were better they coulda added just a few promos.

Also oppening 50k and 100k packs is not even fun, few fifas ago you would be so hyped for those packs, now they are just like nothing with all these new packs

Just before Christmas I had 2 million coin on my RTG account without adding any points, probably the most I’ve had at this stage of any fifa. Yet still have no urge to play the game and even with 2 million I don’t see the point in spending on players that I know won’t make any difference when I can already easily get 11 wins with the team I’ve got which isn’t amazing but still. Having to go on every weekend and play feels like a chore or punishment as majority of the time I don’t see the benefit of playing from the dreadful rewards I keeps receiving. I spent the coins on packs and went to career mode and COD and don’t miss it one bit.

I'm sorry nep but the champs match making isn't like that at all see Ive been doing tests for WL since it started and I never got matched against people on same wins and losses it was random I was 1-5 on purpose to see what mm I would get and I got placed against a div 1 players 8-0 also been matched up with people on 2-7 while I was 5-2 the mm for champs is a lie since release soon I will release all the info on there forums Twitter and reddit including ea help log MSG's saying there's no match maker for plus or minus players it's it goes by games played but that's a lie to and all will be exposed in the next coming weeks

It’s hard to say it’s too casual friendly but then complain about rivals being too sweaty, if you want sbmm then play rivals, if qualies required 5 or 6 wins it would instantly become as sweaty as rivals

actually im a guy who plays rivals to get the 8 wins , plays the friendlies objectives and play champs as well and on top of that i only get to play the game on weekends , yet i still wanna play more but can't because i have done it all so my only options are to keep playing more rivals which is sickening itself or play squad battles which i rather hang myself out of the window than do that so i totally agree with u that the game is dead even for the people who are willing to fight through sweatiness and keep playing rivals/friendlies

The only thing I enjoy about Fifa is card collecting. The actual game itself isn’t fun

this is the first time i haven't bought fifa since i can remember, i've been considering it lately if i should buy it and give it a go, but after watching this video its put me off again. i wish fifa could go back to being fun like it was in fifa 17. i honestly think that was the last time i enjoyed playing it

The problem is that we get Icon packs / Hero packs every week, so everyone has a team with at least 2/3 elite players, but the cards of players that still play are just too bad or too expensive to get.

I agree with your, rewards are not worth it, tradbale packs are les and less and have lower value and match making is bad.... if I didnt pack Icon drogba towards the start of the game and sold him for a bit under 1 mill coins I would only have a max of 100K coins. I also like playing with bundesliga cards and its annoying that most bundesliga special cards are only 84-88 rated when other leauges have a lot of 90+ rated so its demotivating and make me feel like not playing

Back in the day, you could have a blast just with playing in divisions and the weekly tournaments, it's gone downhill and I see no way for it to go back up

Like the removal of fitness cards have ruin the reason for rtg the nerfing on league sbc has ruined grinding it little things have ruined it

I preferred rivals when it was based on skill rating you could still go up and down divisions and made it more enjoyable imo

As a player that plays every year and plays a lot of hours every year, regardless of the fact that I'm a poor player, I don't play online because I'll get smashed every year because I'm just a poor player so I play offline and rely on friendlies and squad battles. I agree with everything he is saying. If I want to get a half decent squad I have to play more games or just lose out on players because its online games or FUT champs to get the better players

Nep, i say this with love, I still enjoy this game cause i dont play it for 8 hours a day on stream , I play with the team I've built playing a few hours through the week, I get my packs, I get what I get and I dont get upset, and enjoy it within moderation . Part of the problem you talk about (falling out of love with the game) is the same as the SBC - (100% agree with you on that) but the point is that this game IN GENERAL isnt aimed for people to play for 4-5 hours a day, and still enjoyment? fair? but do love to see the long format vids back! hopefully this is just a smalll dip in the long love of the game you have built!

The game isn't catered for the hardcore players, no game really is anymore. It's made for casual players and for them there's probably more than enough to do. It's crap for the hardcore players but it'll forever be the same in any sports based games
