Yeah I agree when I was in Cuba the steaks weren’t very good and they were always cooked terribly but! Cubans are masters with pork and chicken. They can cook poultry and pork like no one else. My advise when in Cuba or at a Cuban restaurant keep away from the steak/beef. Cubano Sandwiches 🤤

@@6ixStringStudio that's true they do the best chicken fricassee but anything to do with beef or steak it's the thinnest thing you could possibly imagine. being exposed to American food culture probably the biggest blessing of my life it takes the best of everything and puts it in one place.

Personally I like Cracker Barrel for their breakfast items. For some reason they’re always outside of hotels so I go there for breakfast. I get buttermilk biscuits, bacon and scrambled eggs

THIS is cracking me up! Offered to buy a young friend a steak dinner as a celebration for an accomplishment, and he chose, YUP, Cracker Barrel. He was not very worldly, and this was the only place he had ever eaten a steak. I had to choke back the tears as we drove right past a Texas Roadhouse right next door........... He did enjoy his meal, though.

You could easily buy something like that if not better for around 11 dollars at most and cook it better than they did. Plus the sides are literally mash potatoes and an apple I think, which is definitely not worth more than 2 dollars to make.

i remember the ONE time i ordered steak as an add-on when i got my breakfast, idk what they were feeding the cook that day, but I'm still trying to find a better tasting steak for that price. it was actually unbelievable
