Kinze’s story of innovation with grain carts, planters, and Ag technology - and skirmish with John Deere along the way! Don’t miss this short documentary about how a family owned American company became a leader in Ag. www.kinze.com
Awesome Company and Products. Great People, met Mr. Kenzie at two day Auction in south Florida. He is not afraid to shake hands and talk to Farmers !! H.
I worked there from August 2013 to September 2014. I wasn't an innovator really, just ran tools and drove a forklift. But I loved every minute of it. I loved the positive energy in the plant, even when it was hot as hades. I didn't mind the commute. Sad day when the layoff came.
Very interesting! I was hired by Deere just before the tussle over the row units and had to help go through records for the attorneys. Over the years, I have admired and sometimes envious the development that Kinze was able to accomplish. You did touch on something that I felt is very important is that the engineers need to know how machines are used and how to set them up and fix them. Not just look on a computer screen and that is good enough. I feel that is lacking in the majors today. I do miss the hands on stuff now that I am retired. I am also envious of your tractor collection.
A man with a passion who wasn't afraid to try and fail! Great way to run a business with dealer, customers and your own feedback! Don't forget where you came from and keep up the good work
The thing that I admire most, is that Deere tried taking him down but he still uses and collects Deere tractors. He doesn't seem to hold a grudge. I highly recommend his book. It's a very good read!
We love our Mack till. We did have a 1050 cart for many years was a great cart. Ran the 12 row front fold planter for a few years and was a great planter
Met John at a auction told him your the man that made jd mad he grinned and said they made me mad! Nice fellow to visit with, my wife talked to him she had had no idea who he was !!!
Hauled many a planter out of there to southwest Kansas. I loved that when loaded on my trailer they were a legal load. The guys doing the loading were very friendly and helpful when securing the load. Miss my trips to Williamsburg.
I bought a Kinze auger wagon with a scale. That is nice to have for checking yields and for loading a semi for market in the off season. Everything is heavy and well built with grease zerks. Thank you Kinze for a well built piece of machinery!
This is what RU-vid does, I started watching funny fails videos but got bored, scrolled down to tractor pulls 2021 and now I'm here at kinze. I think the AI is reading my mind tonight.
I hadn't been following the company but am glad you were able to hire a good electronics team. Although the company started as a mechanical products innovator, it's hard to imagine a modern planter without the use of electronic sensors and it's just as important that they're reliable.
Our first grain buggy was a 180 bushel Eddins made in Stuttgart Ark in the early 1960's they were good grain buggies. My dads first rice crop was on a 40 acres in eastern poinsett county, i think it was a medium grain variety and it lodged on him he had a John Deere 95 B combine no grain cart and a roughly 60 mile round trip to the rice mill. It took him 45 days to cut that 40 acres. He was setting more than he was cutting. The following year he bought the grain cart and expanded to roughly 160 acres of rice. Then he turned his rice ground back in the mid 60's after his dad and mom were killed in a carwreck to manage my grandfathers farm and estate. Almost 600 acres of cotton and soybeans with some winter wheat.
Very Nice, thanks for sharing your family story, great Documentary about how you got started and where the company is headed,,I am a huge fan a Kinze equipment..wishing you and your company much success into the future.
Thanks for putting together such an awesome video. I have seen this brand around our community for many years did not have a clue it was American born and raised.
You guys have alot of cool stuff. I own a 1200 pt planter which probably has the best row unit ever made. I've often contemplated putting that row unit on you frame because they seem simpler in design and not so cluttered. Maybe your speed disk will be the first one of your items to purchase. :)
The first kinze planter I had the honor to see and work with was a 16/31 row set at 30/15 corn and beans we loved it worked really well and was so much better to work on cause it was able to lift up so high you wasn’t crawling on the ground to do anything I think it was a 3600
Their museum is outstanding too. Presentation, multimedia and technology rivals most public museums. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours for the museum alone.
I don’t farm. Dont know how to farm but I want a Kinze folding, articulating row planter grain cart switchblade farming implement thing. Maybe even 2. Dunno what I’d do with it could unload and singularte something. Grass clippings maybe. Don’t have a tractor either but my John Deere zero turn has gotta be able to do something other than mow and look cool, right? Lol.
Romans 3:23 King James Version 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; You need to have godly sorrow for your personal sins that you have done, 2 Corinthians 7:10 King James Version 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. You need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross, Ephesians 2:8-9 King James Version 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Also, John 3:16 King James Version 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Then you need to call upon the Lord and ask him to save you, Romans 10:9-10 King James Version 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you do not get saved you will die in your sins, Revelation 20:15 King James Version 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
John deere has stolen countless of other people's hard work and calls it theirs. This ole timer has done more innovation in farming than all others combined.
