Excellent!!! One of the great comeback stories of the last year or so is the re-discovery of the Bee Gees. By both older folks and the new generation. After all that's happened to them, this brilliant singing and songwriting group endures in 2021 and beyond.
It's used as a walking song. And it is also the best dance song ever too! The spirit and the body dance together with this heavenly music. It has a lot of meaning too, when I listen to the lyrics closely. Gives me encouragement. Gives me Strength with the music together. Could not feel more energized than ever!!!!!!! It comes from heaven. It saves many lives too! People use Stayin' Alive to perform the CPR for people suffering heart attacks because the song's beat matches perfectly with the speed/pace/rate/frequency (whatever word it is) of doing the CPR. And the "Ah, Ha, Ha, Ha" part of Stayin' Alive makes it very clear to guide the beat/pace to revive a person's heart!!!! How wonderful it is!!!!!!! I am amazed by this forever. The Bee Gees music really comes from God and His Kingdom of Heaven, preaching the Gospel to the world, sharing God's Love with men, saving lives, making our lives much fruitful😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗🤗☀️🌈🌟🙏🏻💪🏻🤠❤️
i saw a Interveiw with their Mother who said she heard them as Babies Harmonizing their voices ! that’s when you know your Children are gifted i would guess but whatever it is the BeeGees have perfected that talent known all over the World
I've read about a different account as to how the songs came to be used in the movie. I've read, and heard Sir Barry say, which singers influenced him to sing falsetto. What was said in a different video clip, was not mentioned here. One has to wonder if Sir Barry mentioned the same thing in both videos, but it was cut out to suit the viewing audience.
At the 10:30 mark, the "expert" said the Bee Gees were still having #1s, but "just for women". While they produced albums for Streisand, Warwick, and Ross, "Islands In the Stream" was a duet that came off the album the brothers produced for Kenny Rogers. They did not produce an album for Dolly.
Staying Alive appears to have been created from Night Fever - taking the actual drumbeat from Night Fever - in the same way that G-d created Eve - took her from Adam’s rib. Amazing stuff.
