Yeah our minds are really loud. Very interesting actually. Maybe if we didn't do so much internal thinking then maybe we would be social. I think this topic needs more research. My first day of school I tried to talk to people then they said go away before something bad happens then I become scared and just been a loner till one guy started to be my friend and we had alot of things in common.

I I’m the quiet kid and basically every one in your class you hate and you get good scores on tests but people think your dumb and I always hear people say I’m the quiet kid also you gun thing is fake of course but idk about others ones but yea no guns and also being the quiet kid you become dirty minded at a early age and your social skills are not as good as other kids also one of the main reasons why quiet kids are quiet is because they are scared to get into trouble and your friends with other quiet kids also you rarely laugh because you can’t laugh for some weird reason at a joke even though you now it’s funny and you always make other people laugh if you have a friend that is that a quiet kid (you will only have a few people that are not quiet kids that are your friends in life but I think they thing your weird) I will read this again to make sure it makes since so yea that is life as a quiet kid

@donutcoco2998 al r, i am sorry for not replying before, I was busy. I started changing when I was 13, i noticed that my social skills and my social life in general was in a bad situation, so the first step is realizing that you are in a bad situation. But you shouldn't stop there, work on you social skills, its not that difficult, it might sound stupid, but you could just stay in front of a mirror in your room and try to think about some life situations and try to pick up the best replies, like if you were in a videogame. Then the next thing could be find a totally new group of people where you could start from a blank page, it could be a group of people with the same interests, or something else. There just try to show your best traits and become friends with them, don't expect to people to come and do everything for you. Once you did, that friend group will become your new comfort zone, but you are not done yet, now you will had to expand it, by that I mean using your previous experience to do so. It's all a domino game, once you did a thing, the next thing will come automatically.

Omg I did the same thing. I was naturally quiet and introverted growing up, but then it became even more extreme in middle school because I felt left out by my friends (since I was quiet and they were extroverted I felt overlooked) so I went from being a lil quiet to actually antisocial and people-hating. But in high school I completely changed bc I realized being antisocial and hostile wasn’t gonna cut it. Since the whole problem started from me feeling excluded bc I was quiet which led to the antisocial phase, I became way more outgoing in high school and became part of several different friend groups. I went from the quietest person around to being known by my friends for my sociability. Thing is, i still naturally recharge by being alone. You can never change that. But I realized I could still be outgoing and friendly even as an introvert. Forcing myself into a lot of social situations and learning how to be open again after I was so closed off was the best decision i ever made honestly

If the teacher or other staff member is told of an abuse case happening at home or other concerning behavior, they are required to report it (or they lose their teaching license). Luckily, in Birdie's case, it's just bruises from Football, but from the teachers' perspective, they don't know that, so it makes sense why the nurse asked that question.
