We arrived at Stub Stewart looking to ride the more advanced Drip Torch, but found some unexpected fun on the "beginner" Greenhorn.
LL Stub Stewart State Park, about 40 minutes West of Portland is a (somewhat) hidden gem! It is a small, but fun trail system for beginner and intermediate riders. The majority is XC, but there is some great freeride trails as well.

Our Route from the Hill Top Day-Use Area:
Caddywhomper Way, Rise and Shine, Greenhorn (Upper/Lower), Link’n’Pin, ShooFly, Bailing Wire Junction, Spur Line, Fellings Wedge, then uphill on the Banks-Vernonia Trail to the paved road, then up to Hilltop to complete the loop
