I try everyday throughout to get my kids to play outside with me, in the playground, climbing gym, play sports, go to parks but they're just so serious with their electronic jobs as it seems, staying safe, accumalating material possessions. It's like parent kid roles have reversed from my generation. Or I'm staying mentally young and well, play has gone out of fashion?
@@rumdo5617 Are you wearing Huggies or Pampers ? I hope you're not urinating deliberately into your nappies, rather than weeing in the sink like you used to do
I know I’m not in your demographic (54) but I greatly appreciate all the info I have learned from over the last several years I’ve followed you! I ❤ the Alitura Gold Serum! It’s 95% organic too!
This will be interesting. Being still young one is able to get away with a lot. U'll see the real benefits at around 45 to 50 when aging really starts accelerating and becomes much more noticeable.
I”ve been into anti aging for a long time, just found your channel and will be adjusting my supplement protocol. just want to say thanks, I’m 62 and rock climb two to three times a week, still feel great.
My wife is a radiotherapist and she allways said to me "i don't know how I get so many so called healthy and fit patients with cancer" and i allways tell her that nowadays to be fit and healthy the route is to consume "zero" foods, zero sugar, zero calories, etc artificial sweeteners are everywhere and a lot of people looks at those foods as healthy but for sure they are consuming too much artificial stuff that we don't really know how bad it is even fda and some studies made it safe until certain amounts. Sometimes it won't hurt but some people just lives in this. It is in whey protein, in yogurts, in drinks, in zero sauces and toppings, puddings, etc
Totally agree with you, the problem here is that a huge amount of people think and believe that healthy means…low carb and low fat only which is not true. All these cute salads, to go “healthy” foods and meals we constantly see in containers are the new poison, people just want to look nice but without the cooking. People can’t find the moment to cook basic and nourishing meals. Remember, we might not have the time to cook, but if we get sick…..we might have a chance to survive or heal.
@@akustiktrax5186 exactly. That's exactly like that. We don't know what real food is nowadays. I mean there is place to snacks, junk food and etc, but the basis should allways pass through whole foods, real foods, being vegan, being carnivore, being keto, or omnivore, it should be all about real food.
Our water supplies are full of dangerøus chemicals, metals and substances too. Then there is the exposure to plastics, non stick Teflon cookware, and unhealthy building materials that were used until about 40/50 years ago.
Hang on a second. If you've taken 12 years off your age, but you're still in your 20's, then you're right at the peak of ageing and growth given that kids/teenagers are essentially ageing faster than all of us. Their growth factors are huuuge. Nice one Simm, ageing like a 13 year old boy.
Thanks Siim. As usual, very comprehensive and accessible information. My only issue is that I like to train 6 days a week (not too heavy due to my older age). This complicates my usage of berberine, metformin, and NAC. Still trying to figure that out.
You must have to write out a schedule in order to keep up with all this stuff, plus have some deep pockets. Just think, none of the oldest living people have probably ever taken any of this stuff.
7:25 i can definately recommend combining citruline with arginine. I also use nicotinic acid with ashwagandha and maca for my pre workout smoothie, gives me another 10% strength🌴
Wouldn't using ashwaganda blunt the adaptation benefits from exercise? As I understand it antioxidants help nullify the free radicals and having a high antioxidant smoothie prior to working out would reduce the need of the body to produce it's own antioxidants as it has received plenty from the smoothie pre-work out.
@@jusufagil5510 I am not sure what you're saying? I notice that ashwagandha gives a good strength boost and I also feel bigger, when I take ashwagandha. After keeping a break from it, I definately feel weaker, from 75 kilo benching to 70 kilo, from 55 kilo tricep pull, to 45 kilo tricep pill, so it's very significant the boost I get from ash.
Would have been great if you included all the amounts in grams/miligrams for everything you take. Going by RDA doesn't always work, like with Glucosamine, they tell you to take like 2 grams a day on the box.
Taking care of your auric field is part of the equation too. Auric hygiene, gratitude, meaningful relationships are all as important as the thing you put in your body. The yogic culture has said it for thousand of years 🤷🏻♂️
I take NAC right before training because it makes breathing so much easier. That helps with endurance. I wouldn`t worry about having too many antioxidants in training too much.
Some research suggests high doses of anti oxidants might blunt the natural recovery process. It makes sense NAC may help breathing as it was originally a drug for that use.
If I can chime in, Ive been investigating supplements for over 30 years. If he's healthy, there's no need for a 16 yr old to take any of those supplements. No supplement can give him what he already has - his youth.
Siim brother.. Been following you for very many years now and are very engaged in the antiaging and muscle building community. I am now looking into carnivore diet as a way to optimize hormones and nutrition - since vegetables and fruits contain antinutrients like phytic acid, oxalates, tannins etc... What do you think of this? Are antinutrients to be avoided at all cost? Should one only eat raw meat/eggs? And maybe raw milk? I also heard Raw milk inhibits uptake of antixodiants from berries etc... So the diets are hard to combine.
I'm sorry to ask about what it all costs; I receive a paltry stipend from sosial services here so at 65 with several health problems I have a need for these things.
David, build the foundation first. Are you doing any physical activity? Are you able to eat fruits and veggies? Sleeping ok? Consider that before supplements.
So you can increase energy even more by taking nmn or niaciamide over taking the regular flushing niacin?? Did I get that right? Are there exclusive benefits to taking flushing niacin that the others don't have? Like should I be taking both?
HMB is a breakdown metabolite of the amino acid leucine. It was popular in the 90s when preliminary research suggested it built muscle. Other research showed it might only work in beginners and sick people. HMB is getting popular again (I think I know why) but if you are healthy, I see no reason for most to use it. I hope that helps.
man thanks for the good info very well explained, i take supplements too, but i believe that too much of them can be potentially harmful.. i mean taking all that supplements almost daily.. it's huge ,even if you look at the singular studies benefits , you do not know of they interact with one another causing health problems in the long term. So be careful l i'd rather rotate them taking some week off and so on
I heard Glucosamine can reduce insulin sensitivity and associated with higher HbA1c. Is this a true side effect? If yes, are there steps to reduce this risk in terms of timing and combining Glucosamine witj something?
The research doesnt show this however I have met people - including one bodybuilder who was a type I diabetic -who told me glucosamine raises blood sugar. If you are a diabetic, speak to your doctor.
