There's a lot of issues with green-grifter companies when it comes to wind power, but it's the best low-impact renewable. Hydro electric power generation is better but damages sensitive ecosystems.
Windmill farms rarely create enough energy to compensate for the energy used to create the windmills in the first place and then when they stop working they don’t decompose and leave us with windmill grave yards since they do not decompose. Not to mention the amount of birds they kill and the vibration keeps natural insects away from the area essential creating a useless area. They are a poor example of clean energy because they really are not clean in anyway. I would recommend you spend time researching it.
They also drastically change the water table of the area they are in. You have to pour a large cement base under the ground to keep them standing. Destroys lots of farmland. Southern Alberta is riddled with these monuments to our ignorance.
They installing many of them windmills in Newfoundland yet our winds get so strong here that they stopped running trains in early 1980’s because of how often they were being blown off tracks

It's going to be another 3 - 5 weeks including post testing for Calgary's water to come back on. It's been raining but I don't see people setting up water catchers which they should. Literally a garbage bag and a few bits of wood tunnelling into a pop bottle or something. Boil and drink.
In general, the right to run for public office should be stripped from corrupt politicians. Not just people who've done outright treason, but also nepotism, gross mismanagement of public funds, circumventing official process... anything that gets in front of the ethics committee. Not all of it on the first offense, and be gentle when it comes to knowingly deliberate corruption vs incompetence, but still... the shear landslide of garbage behaviour with zero consequence needs to stop.

Hang tough Calgary. Too bad Canada PM wasn’t corrupt and all resource management was 100 percent responsive for ALL PROVINCES. Nope…money, ships, tanks, go to Europe and other countries so our narcissistic leader is a global power. I know this wasn't talked about in this episode, but the government changing the Cap Gains Tax sucks for my job right now. I work in a bank and the amount of requests we have to process and or payout loans before the new tax comes in to law to avoid the tax is staggering. Thats all, just complaining.

All everyone is talking about is India and China.. did anyone else see they've passed speech laws for a foreign country that isn't Russia, China or India. Why wouldn't one of those countries that apparently hold so much power do the exact same thing?
Windmill farm should be opposed...much too much environmental damage for the benefit and the cost for electrical energy from this is suspect. First prove it worthwhile . COMMENTS PLEASE .
