Some of the most amazing motorcycles you have ever seen reside at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Ala. From classic drag bikes like the two stroke H2 750 of Dave Schultz and Paul Gast, the classic NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle of the great John Myers, flat track legends, hill climb bikes, a close look at the KZ 1000, FJ 1200, Hayabusa, early wooden and steam powered motorcycles, lots of vintage two strokes, the Eddie Lawson KZ1000R, a wide selection of Buells, early Harley Davidson and Indian cruisers, V8 powered motorcycles and much more, Barber Motorsports Park has it all. We give you a full tour and take you on our quest to find the most impressive motorcycles we can discover. You will hear the sweet sound of F1 racing in the background. You will even see some double engine bikes! There is no place quite like Barber. Share with a friend and if you know anything about any of these share your stories in the comments.

I was out in Fremont, CA in 1981 and got to talk to Dave Shultz and Paul, and even held the H2 cylinder in my hands to give it a look. I couldn't see where the magic was. That is for the genious that build them. I still have a 1974 H2 I've owned 42yrs.

Thank you man. Thank you for the memories. I'm 73 now. Have owned or at least worked on many of the bikes you have shown on your visit to the Barber Museum. Such a great tour you made for us. One of my favs was the black Buell M2 seen in the back ground. Owned one, sadly, got crashed by some lady in a car in an intersection. Oh well, salvaged the motor, building a ridged chopped around the motor now. I might have missed it, but I didn't see the venerable Yamaha XS 650 twin. I'm sure there was one there but time limits you from showing all the bikes. Owned three of them in my life time. Next to the Buell, the Yamaha XS650 got to be my all time best bike. Again, thank you, rocket

Cool vid people. Rode several of those bikes from 50 to 2002cc. At 65... Brings back great memories. Retired master motorcycle technician I fixed em, rode em, and most fun making them go faster. Kz1000 and Gs 1100 engines. We went mid 7's in the late 80's. As fast as we could afford to and I did most of the work. If pic comes up some of you old Prostar Semi Pro guys and gals might remember.

At any one time there are just over 700 motorbikes on public display. What Jack didn't see (or at least include in his video) was the warehouse room (not available to the public) where there is another 1,400 or so bikes that are either awaiting restoration or are restored and used as part of normal display rotation. Fascinating wonderland.

I think about Rich Oliver quite often.. we raced the AFM Northern Div. and our home track was Sears Point but we also raced Riverside, Willow Springs and Laguna Seca. The only time Rich and I were on track together was during the combined F1 - F2 races. I raced for five years but I was a mech. engineer (ME) already 28 yrs old when I bought my 1981 Honda CB750F ..but when the wins started coming, Dennis Manning sponsored the bike and we went full blown Superbike mods at his BUB Enterprises shop in San Jose Ca.. When Team Honda switched to VF750 Interceptors in 1884, I was lucky to acquire an old HRC factory support engine and things got real interesting. Thanks for the tour through history...
