This guy absolutely knows his stuff. Appreciate the attention to detail in your assessment of a team that constantly gets zero respect from the national outlets.
@@brandonb.7332I was saying the same thing about commercials to my girl while watching the draft. I’d like to think most commercial breaks are scheduled at certain times but it seemed odd.
I 100% believe AJ Brown would still be in TN if Ran Carthon had been the GM at the time. I feel like this staff, along with ownership's shift in philosophy, will turn Nashville into a destination FA will WANT to go to.
AJ just didn’t wanna be here. He got offered 20 mill/yr and then went ghost on the team. JRob then did him a favor by trading him to the exact place he wanted to go. But JRob gets made to be the bad guy in that whole situation. The truth is, if AJ really wanted to be here, he’d be here.
@@bravetitangrizzlyJohn wouldn’t budge past 20mil a year AJ wanted 25mil that’s why he went to Philly now me being me why leave a tax less state for a state with state taxes for 5 million more is crazy
I know it's going to be tough, but I really do think we have a fighting chance to win the division this year. I'm hoping the offense clicks and gets going asap. I think the defense is much improved from last year and could potentially be top 10. It's an exciting year to be a Titans fan. Thanks for the video!
All I can say is they better be a good team because they are going to face some real good teams in 2024. I feel like they will do better than they did last year because the managers knew they need to put out some money to make a good team. We also have a new Coach that I Believe will do just fine.
People can say what they want about the titans The team has a whole new identity Omce the season starts the noise will stop Even if we do good they still are gonna find some way to disrespect us We are use to it We are titans fans #Titan up #Bleed blue
Cuz people don’t know ball and don’t understand that’s Lamb, Aiyuk, Chase, Jefferson, and Higgins all have to get paid. Watch Jefferson and Chase are gunna break the bank.
Roster is upgraded over last year. Hurts to lose Henry and Autry though. Better at o line corner and Wideout in particular. Going to come down to how Levis plays.
This Off Season has been enjoyable to watch and I believe they can't be any worse than last Year. They won 6 Games but could have walked away with 8 so I believe there's no way they could be worse this Year. I could be wrong but I think they win between 8 and 11 Games. My biggest worry Is Houston also loaded up this Off Season from Free Agency and The Draft.
2 major points. One If the offensive line is fixed and I think with the addition of Bill Callahan it will be. Titans going to have one of the best running games in the league. 2 Calvin Ridley is not overpaid. Are we paying attention to the actual contract clause and not just the numbers the agent threw out? Good Vid enjoy the work!
Great video my man, love the Titans content. I think you were spot on with your analysis of the team. I really like where were at right now after FA and the Draft. I think this new coaching staff is going to really be good at developing players, unlike the last coaching staff. Good teams draft well and develop well and i think were doing that now. #TITANUP!
People forget Vrabel buried Levis in the practice squad, presumably to humble him. He was the 3rd string QB behind Malik. Not only did he not take 1st team snaps, he barely took 2nd team snaps before he was expected to start. I’m so curious to see what happens when he has a full year of offseason as the #1, and a semi functional O-line instead of the worst in the nfl, a top-10/12 receiver room instead of bottom third, and a coach that isn’t run run pass punt schemed. Titans are a completely mystery this year. Anyone who thinks they couldn’t possibly win even 10 games is fooling themselves. They could be awful, but they’ve got the ingredients to be good.
CJ Stroud is on a different level cuz he behind an elite oline. Levis got put behind a fkn.. theres not even a word for it. it was in shambles. give him a chance
The offensive coordinator was remedial last year. 2 runs and a pass. And Henry going to sideline on 3rd was a disadvantage in two ways. One, he was off the field, and it projected the play calls.
Titans have 2 of the 4 corners that played last year, that gave up 0 touchdowns with Sneed and Mcreary. Our corners are looking real good. Love your assessment. Honestly upset we didnt grab Odunze and a tackle at 38, but people get paid alot more than me to make those picks so i respect what happened. Hopefully our gambles will pay off!
Yeah the Titans paid the "we suck" tax on Ridley this year but if dude produces and after Jefferson and Chase sign their new deals, Ridley will be a helluva value signing cause those kids are gonna get PAID. 💰💰💰
I think the titans offseason moves were great, the address what they needed, a couple of points, I want to say about your post. When you said about stoud, bra he was a rookie ,before you name this kid king 😂 you have to wait a year, he could be a one year wonder, Now I'm not sold on Levis but the new additions and coaching, they still have money to spend, And Ridley is not overpaid, that comment right there was left field 😂, yall deemed the jags the superbowl team, last year they had the same playoff run as Houston and the next season what happened titans knocked them out of the playoffs, so stop the Houston nutt riding, but I will agree it's on Levis to get were they going, I can't make a prediction until I see games it's just to premature to do. But as a Fan I say they have a contender
Same thing I said but I think levis will be ok it was hard to throw the ball downfield when u got a linebacker in ur face soon as u hike the ball but good take tho bro
Yeah, the Texans BARELY made it to the playoffs... Stroud could definitely recess,... Titans bout to show out, I think our defense is gonna be top 5 in the NFL?
Here's my take, the biggest problem for the Titans last year was OL. They were god awful last year. They addressed that to where at least they can be middle of the pack there. Levis can make the throws if he's given time. Pollard and Spears are solid 4 down backs. At WR, having vets like Hopkins and Ridley along with Burks will help. That's a solid WR core, then add TE Okonkwo - very solid. The D will be helped by Snead coming into the fold and if rookie NT Sweat plays well - our D should be in the upper half statistically. I see 9 - 8 next year - which is a 3 game improvement.
I like James Williams also we drafted from Miami idk much about him but watching film he is a hitter and they drafted him to play lb instead of safety n he is 6’4-6’5
Boyd if we get him D Hop and Ridley will be a good trio top 10 ish then we are 4 deep at corner pollard and spears that’s a awesome RB duo to if Levis plays decent we will win 9 games easily!
The only topic I disagree on is Tony Pollard. It seems like everybody is forgetting he was coming off a Broken Fibula in 2022, and he still put up a 1,000-yards with Dallas last season. It is a proven statistic that a majority of players typically take a full calendar year to get back to full health. Other than that, I agree with your breakdown. #TITANUP
If we look at the team then only starters left from the last real playoff appearance are all on defense, Simmons, Landry, and Hooker even though he wasn't the starter at the time.
Orlovosky and Chase Daniel is showing what an NFL playbook looks like. Its a must-see to understand how complicated the mental side of the game is. No shit Willis isnt ready to play coming from Liberty. Dude is raw but he CAN play in this league in TIME. This why the Titans cant develop QBs. The WRs Levis has to work is nowhere near the bullcrap they gave Willisa but yall expect him to make chocolate ice cream from fresh horse manure
You made some valid points but FYI do your research before making your videos. Latham isn’t raw in the run game, he’s mauler in the run game he’s raw is pass pro far as dealing with speed coming off the edge, he was 1 of the better run blocking OT in the draft. 2nd Todd downing wasn’t the play caller last season, it was Tim Kelly. Downing left after the 22 season Last but not least the titans didn’t trade a 2024 3rd round pick for Sneed they traded a 2025 3rd round pick for sneed. They didn’t have a 2024 3rd rd pick because they traded it to Arizona to trade up for Will Levi’s.
It all depends if Levis pans out. If he takes a step forward, the Titans could be good next year. If he sucks, then all these amazing off-season moves mean nothing.
It all falls to Levis now. He has enough tools around him and a sufficient line. If he shines, like I think we will, this well be a very exciting year.
Will Levis needs to learn to stop passing the ball to a receiver that is covered up that could intercept the pass. I think he will do a lot better because he will have a better line protecting him. He want be under so much pressure .
The AFC South is going to be a conference to watch this season. If you had to rank them it would be Texans and then the Colts/Jags/Titans. I could see the Texans falling to second in the division, but not any lower. The other three could literally finish anywhere.
You are a little off on the picks fpr players trades, the 2024 3rd rounder went to AZ to trade up last year to get Levis. Titans gitnSneed for next year's 3rd and a swap and 7th rounders.
JC is another Trent Williams, look at the comparison in college, both played RT in college and made the switch, look at the size and athletic skills. Just watch
Robinson tried to scam AJ. Amy ok’d more money but Robinson didn’t offer it. Burkes is a bust until he proves he can stay on the field. Titans are definitely a different team this year. We will see if that is a good or bad team. I do believe trading Autry was a mistake. You won’t find a better player in that position.
Levis, Kenny Pickett and Trey Lance are the same quarterbacks. 🤔 Meaning every Qb that's picked in the the first round doesn't mean they're starters. Facts Let's Go Steelers Nation
@danhandsomeandsome6177 all 3 were great at taking sacks last year so definitely that wasn't on the qbs. Tell me which game he had at least a half where he was given a chance to do anything? Not even Brady would have been effective with that O line last year. Levi's had that 1 initial great game but fizzled out after. Titans were horrible last year and not because of the qb play
@@RichieB40444 Saw him at Houston his 1st game. Let me tell you the Texans Fans were very happy with what they saw out of him. Saw him again in Tenn against the same Texans team. Again he made them happy to be our QB. I would LOVE for him to work out well for us but he just doesn't have "It".
Should Tennessee show Intrest in wr zay jones the jags released him hed go well with Ridley n Hopkins!!!! The Titans need to move on from burks hes to fragile and gets injured all the time and has been a bust so far!!!!! Burks was great in Arkansa but hasn't been that effective at the pro level unfortunately!!!!! Plus with holtz being over to Tennessee as a coach who was a coach over in jax last season!!!! so it makes since if Tennessee can get him for the right price!!!!!
Chig dropped a lot of passes when needed. Sweat is a Nose Tackle and we run a 3-4, that’s a perfect match with Big Jeff. NWI isn’t better than Burks, our slot WR is open to grab. Gray and that SS from Miami that’s converted to LB now is going to be interesting piece wether they start or in the rotation.
this hater threw Malik under the bus over a 4th quarter mismanagement move by the brass. The kid was making good plays with both his arm and his legs but gets none of the benefits of doubt that Levis gets for not having any help.I will take a two time MvP in Lamar Jackson's word over a brainwashed bum anyday and Jackson called Malik "QB1"..Levis is injury prone and makes dumb decisions with the ball then blames his teammates and its called passion. They might fix it for him like Brady smh
Good point being made but still dont think they contend for shit.. yea they put in work in the offseason. But they are in the AFC South which has turned into a juggernaut division after free agency/nfl draft. On top of that that terrible o-line cant keep Levis safe. And the defense just gets ran thru year after year. Kevin Byard fell off idk why they signed him either. I just think this is cope im calling they win 6 or 7 games. Think im bs? Comeback n check this comment at the end of the year.
Why don't you go to your fans page and stay off the Titans. You sound disturb personally, what idiot comes on a titans fan site and spew negativity 😂 I assume you just wanted to get some clicks? Or are you a bot or ai? Definitely not bright though 😂
A couple of things first, the offensive line is going to be a lot better. Not only was the line upgraded, but the Titans now have one of the best line coaches to help. Second, the Colts haven't really upgraded. They signed basically the team they last year with an older backup quarterback. Jaguars are a worse team than last year. Texans are a great team. However, they will have the hardest schedule because of their performance last year. I think they will compete, but maybe drop off some due to the schedule.
@@stephenjablonski3261 eh i agree tho but i see it as the Colts need AR5 to stay healthy without him on the field that team is non existent. Jaguars arent a bad team i believe its coaching. Like they literally was just in the AFC championship a few years ago then lost all the momentum. Texans? Deadly enough said there. I believe they got a good shot but contending for the Bowl? I dont see it that defense needs to step up to be honest. On the offensive side of the ball they solid.
@Lostdata Trevor Lawrence hasn't really played a complete season. Two years in a row, it came down to a win and in situation for them. In the first year they won last year they didn't. Also, the jaguars lost a weapon on offense to a rival.Texans might be a little overhyped. Last year they played really well. They also had the easiest schedule in the AFC south. This year, they will have the hardest schedule. If they shine this year, more power to them. That said, harder schedule and teams won't underestimate them like last year.
