Please help! Just got these set up and they are randomly turning on by themselves! They are not connected to any Alexa app or anything else and no timers are set. Any idea on how to fix this issue? Thank you!

I think that's demo mode. Once you get them connected to your phone you can set the style such as solid color, brightness etc.

Aren't these too close to your house? Govee says 2 to 4 inches.

Should be easy enough using the stick-on lights. The trim board I used was pretty rough and they still stuck well.
