Over ten years after making the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Tobe Hooper returns to his deranged family of reclusive cannibals for another round of chainsaw chases and non-stop screaming. if you read any cannibal stories every single person who kill and cooked another human said the exact same thing. Human meat was the most delicious meat they ever tasted! Personally IDK why its frowned upon. We are over populated and hungry countries have plenty of meat! Kill all the prisoners for food!

Jim Siedow was such a great actor and such a likable villain, I love, "I just can't take no pleasure in killing!" At least he lived to 83, which these days, now, ain't that bad. He is up in heaven eating prime meat and watching out for those hard shelled peppercorns for everyone.

While Drayton had that complex personality disorder I always- ALWAYS saw him as the straight man of the family just trying to keep business afloat and making profit all in the while trying to keep low and have his younger brothers or sons out of trouble ONLY for them to screw the pooch and do something drastic it puts him over the edge to almost having an aneurysm. He doesn't take pleasure in killing as he isn't thrilled about Nubbins digging up Graves not looking after his brother or leatherface sawing down the house doors... If they picked the RIGHT actor, I would love to see a stand alone movie about Drayton with him being front and center and give him that Ted Bundy / Ed Gein treatment since he was the front man feeding people the chili and BBQ

"Whoop, whoop, one of those hard shelled peppercorns!" hahahaha gets me every time especially with Jim Siedow's amazing delivery. "Don't skimp on the meat." I love how disgusting the chili looks and when he gets it all over his spiffy sports coat, its priceless, "I think he's kind of cute!" He's adorable and hilarious, best character hands down. Even zanier and funnier in this sequel, wish his was in the lackluster sequels. Three was okay and four was terrible, except for Matthew and Renee, they tried and I can't believe it was done by master Kim Henkel, no wonder Hooper gave him his blessing but stayed away, probably read the script and was like my friend can do it, even if it destroyed the franchise till the reboot, but I'll wisely sit this one out and it didn't even make sense.

Though its unknown if his character in the 2nd movie its the same one as the truck driver from the first one. I disliked every character in this movie. Dennis hopper had the chainsaw testing scene which is hilarious in itself. But drayton was surprisingly likeable. Found myself wanting more of him every time the movie moved to someone else.

Not as good as number 1 but miles ahead of 3 (3 had the best trailer and cast) and 4(4 was not alright, alright, alright but it had pretty people with good intentions)! Remake was pretty decent but nothing compared to the original, wish it could have been its own movie, like what they tried and failed with the subpar Evil Dead remake. Nevertheless, the prequel was fun, TC3D had its moments and Leatherface and the reboot suck balls.

@@michaelmarch19 It’s like that with every franchise honestly. First one is great, second is not as good as the original but still good. By the time you get past 2 it becomes something so far from what it was meant to be that there really isn’t a point in watching.
