NO, evolution is NOT 'just a theory'. There is the theory of evolution, the vast body of data, experiment and evidence in support of the phenomenon. Then, there is the FACT of evolution, That is, the observation that the process occurs. You haven't a clue, just like CluelessJohn.

The bible very clearly does not match what we see in reality. Do you honestly think a wooden boat carried enough animals and humans to result in what we see today? Millions of species, billions of humans? Impossible. Literally impossible.

​@@Diviance The account of Noah's Ark, while extraordinary, is a testament to the miraculous work of God in preserving and propagating life. I encourage you to read the chapters 6 through 9 of Genesis, which recount the story of Noah's ark.

@@FaithfulJohn2031 Ignoring that we know, for a fact, there was no ark or flood... The story is impossible. The speed at which new species would need to arise every year after this ark is simply not possible (not to mention that species have what is known as a MVP or minimum viable population and almost no species has 2 as the mvp). You would need to accelerate the speed of evolution by a few orders of magnitude to get where we are today. And humans have a minimum viable population that is _much_ higher than 8. Much higher. Not to mention the heat problem with that kind of catastrophic flood event. Google that one. In short, it is not possible. Flat out. Literally impossible. And if you are invoking magic to solve that... then I don't know how we can have a discussion, because I can simply invoke different magic to say your god doesn't exist.

​@@Diviance The Christian faith is not a blind appeal to magic, but a reasoned belief in the God who has revealed Himself in the order and history of the universe, and most fully in the person of Jesus Christ. Our understanding is based on evidence, reason, and the testimony of Scripture, which presents a coherent and compelling narrative of God's work in the world. The period following the Flood, as understood from a Creationist view, involves the potential for rapid diversification and speciation within the kinds that were preserved. This model, based on the Biblical account, sees a burst of life and adaptation to post-Flood conditions.

@@FaithfulJohn2031 It is a blind appeal to magic. There is no evidence, nor good reason, to believe the biblical narrative... especially when we know so much of it is demonstrably not true. And I don't think you understand. You would need _thousands_ of new species _every single year without stopping_ until today. Not only would it require evolution, it would require a hyper-speed form of it. Orders of magnitude faster than is actually possible in reality. It is not possible.
