As people, we are sinners. We have all lied, stolen, cheated, and lusted. We are all broken and deserving of punishment. A good judge wouldn’t let a killer get away with murder. No matter how much good the killer has done, or how much money he has donated to charity, he is still going to jail. We all die, and when we do, we should all go to hell because it is the righteous punishment for our sins. But God saw us without hope and showed us his love. His son died on the cross and took our punishment for us. We went speeding down the highway and now we have speeding fines that we don’t have the money to pay. But Jesus payed our fine. Legally we can be set free because our speeding fines are paid for. Jesus took our rightfully deserved punishment on the cross and rose back to life three days later defeating death. Now we don’t have to be punished by going to hell because Jesus took our punishment for us. It’s a great miracle when God takes a sinner like me and changes my desires to not want to sin. All you have to do is, “declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 “Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Thanks man!🤙Was going to ask. Love these reflective interviews with former players, especially when they give you excellent in-game, locker room, or traveling stories. The best!
I watch that game. That whole football game he set it off. Mother fucker was talking shit towards them and was mad handling him and the full grown man came out of that man and he went native like it was hit after head trash talk slapping my fuckers in her helmets.
My man always played like a Polynesian, that's a fact. Off the field tho, he was such a nice guy that you forgot about that warrior blood for a bit.. Well, until the next time you watched him play anyway. 😂😂
@@kingphillieman what are yall talking about? are we remembering the same Troy Polamalu? absolute stud, but easily one of the dirtiest players ive seen play the game
In my eyes Troy is the greatest player to ever step on a football field.. but when greatest safetys comes up Brian Dawkins don't get much love. He should
You ain’t going to believe this but as a die hard Browns fan who grew up watching him at a minimum twice a year, I miss him too. This video made me smile. Lol Only about one player from our 3 rivals I would have loved on our team. Troy from the Steelers. Ed from the Ravens. And Chad from the Bengals. Of course we could’ve used more Steelers talent but I really hated all Steelers except Troy. 💯
I still miss AB pre-Vontez Burfict hit. Was a humble, extreamly hard working team player that just wanted to win. He made every game a highlight reel, they didn't call him TonyToeTap for no reason!
gates was also just pure athletic all around, he wasnt just someone u could even keep a hand on from the snap hed get by and be open or you just didnt get around the side he was on
@David Montgomery I know he’s bigger but did you ever watch McAfee pop Trindon Holliday? Let’s be real: Polamalu was just a different breed on the field
I’m a browns fan through and through. Been one for 25 years now. The amount of respect I have for Troy is insane. That man personally dominated our defense for so long yet I just can’t dislike him. He was so awesome to watch and I’m lucky I grew up and can remember watching him play
damn took out 3players like that damn, and yes he was very soft spoken, but brother carried a very big black and gold stick!!! throughout his illustrustrious career unlike alot of others this man spoke with his play and in the end was the very loudest of all all on every Sunday!!!
Troy was a soft spoken chill dude on a squad of mean muggin nasty boys. But they had his back in an instant, like a hair trigger. Authenticity wins respect every time.
I have always respected and loved Troy’s game, but he’s is becoming one of my favorite players off the field as well. The stories that came out after his retirement makes it hard to not like him as a regular man.
Mr. Class…..a person who understood who he was on and off the field. Always played by the rules and gave 110% while giving offenses serious pause when he was on the field! The man could “tune up” wide receivers, tight ends, running backs and quarterbacks….an exciting player to watch!!!
I never liked the Steelers but when I did a fantasy draft in madden I always took Troy. He’s a great player and an amazing safety but more than that he’s a kind and decent person. Really respect him
We had to protect Troy he was the leader like I said we protect baby Jesus we told y’all that 😅 when he starts cussing oh yeah our defense became animals out there 😂 the stuff described that that defense would do when he was turned up oh Man U can’t do most of that now days in the NFL
I mean it is just LT, and he’s crouched down - and quite a bit given the semi truck he thinks he’s about to get hit by - anticipating contact, and Harrison’s a freak athlete with momentum running “downhill”. That’s a large large man, and he makes that move look easy; like all great athletes do
I remember this game and I swear there’s a play where he hip tossed a linemen and I been looking for that play for Almost 15 years cuz I never seen someone troys size throw. A 300 pound linemen💪🏾💪🏾
I remember seeing that. I also remember watching a Redskins game around 2004-2006 where Santana Moss grabbed the corner covering him by the wrist and twisted it and it flipped the guy over and he landed on his back and I’ve never found that video either.
I'm a football fan yet Cleveland born & raised so gotta give credit where it's due and enjoyed Troy, Shell, Blount, Harrison, Green and all the great players from the 70's to the present.
That's what i loved about Troy. He was so underestimated by those larger players on opposing teams. They assumed he didn't have the power to take them down because of his size but he surprised the hell out of them when that HIT happened 😂😂😂.
It's always the soft spoken people that will give you the business. Once you cross that line with them, buckle up It's gonna be a bumpy ride!..😅😂🤣🖤💛💙❤️💨💨✌🏽
Troy Polumalu I miss you brother!!!!❤️ I still watch your games and will watch them until the end of 🕙. In a 1000 years we will never get another you!!! Thank you for being a Steeler!!!
This Steelers team was special man. If Brady and Belichek didn’t exists Steelers would have like 14 Super Bowls because I think they would have been a dynasty but no one topped them pats back then.
Troy P Enjoyed & Loved watching him play.. So talented, knowledgeable, great sportsmanship!! He was a favorite at our home!! Miss him playing...STEELERS! Always Rock! 🏈🖤💛🖤💛⭐️🥇🏆🏈
Yooo, this is what I'm sure a lot of football fans been waiting on...hearing about Troy's perspectives on the game he played. ✅🎯 Whether you're a Steelers fan or not, you gotta love the intensity he played with and how he made offenses change their game due to his defensive position.
Troy P was the most laid back guy in football. He was always smiling. You know if you could hear him talking on the field, somebody fucked up and the whole team is gonna come for you. You don't fuck with Troy.
