My ex of two years broke up with me less than a month ago so it's still fresh and the pain is indescribable but this video sent a spark of light in my heart. I did six weeks and he's now back. He called me last evening to pick up my stuff because he couldn't bare having them until valentines. I got there, found candles, romantic music. We talked and made up. He got me a valentine's present. Shoes. But I Want to take it slow. Thank you guys so much

Someone once said why do you desire someone that doesn’t desire you...We are use to get validation from the day we were born till the day we will die. That’s how society works. Parents say you do this you are a good girl/boy. School you have to pass the exam so you are good enough to move forward. And when breakups happen it’s like we don’t have the validation anymore we think we are not good enough.

I've come from crying hours a day to being my confident self again. That took me months. Happened during my no contact. It really helps for your healing to detach yourself. I even blocked him to do this. Me and him are in contact again and when we talk it is fun. He is acting a little hot and cold so that's still a little bit of a struggle. But with all these videos here I know what to do :)

That's great! How did he initiate the contact if you've blocked him? I used to cry in my sleep after the break-up. I blocked him not because I hate him. I just wanted to concentrate on myself. A month of no contact had gone with my ex. I thought if he really wanted to reach out, he will find another way to contact me other than. The 'no contact' rule is very empowering when done right, in my experience. I'm happier and like what Coach Adrian had said, I no longer need his validation. I no longer need him to be happy and I'm okay with that.

I absolutely agree with the fact that crisis is opportunity. For me I’ve only been single for a week and at first I cried all day, threw up, and could not be alone because I’d fall into this deep depression. When I finally let go and decided to grow it seems as though he’s been more interested in me. I let go of the thought that he would ever want me back because I just wanted to grow for ME. I’ve been happy everyday and genuinely growing. It happened so fast and not because I love him any less because I quickly learned to love me and God’s plan for me over everything.

My tipping point happened when she randomly texted me giving me her new number and texting and calling me first!!! This happened after I started using the radio silence technique and working on myself and filling my life with activities and a new job. I also don’t jump to answer her text and calls!!

Also, the no contact rule can backfire bc they can think you have moved on and they can’t do anything about it so they decide they just have to move on too. He has done the no contact to me and it has just put me off him, believing he has truly moved on...... what’s your thoughts on this also?

It backfires when “no contact” was the thing that ended your relationship in the first place. By that I mean if your connection became weak and you had trouble communicating. In that case “cutting the cord” goes as validation to the fact that your fire went out. Hope I explained it well enough

what if he misses me too but is not willing to take action or want me back because he is afraid that the bad days of the relationship I.e those fights and arguments will return to his life...what can be done ?? please help..

Hi! I would focus on what triggered those bad days and find solutions to them. Don't approach him until you can offer a better experience. This is what helps generate positive results. Best, Natalie

Love Advice TV thanks...but I have earlier tried a lot to focus on the causes of those fights...but he says that now things have become so bad that nothing can be done...he is no more patient to solve anything (we never had any serious cause for fights..may be those figts took place because it was a long term relationship ) ..now aftr the brk up I am blocked everywhere so there is no chance of working on those bad days and finding solutions...although I know I can surely offer a better experience..I always could but he was never so patient with me...(I also feel like he was getting tired of dragging this relationship as it had been more than 4 years) ...what do I do?

Then you are not following coach Adrian's advices. Watch the other videos on this channel. When your ex is blocking you, you need to give him the space and go on with your life. What I learned from coach Adrian and coach Nat is that you can't expect him to be there to work with you the moment after breakup. It doesn't help to tell him you can offer a better experience. If it's this early after a breakup (it sounds fairly new to me from the way you describes it), I'm pretty sure that's all words on your part. It takes time to change yourself, become a better person for yourself and not because of your ex. Also, if you always could give him better experience, then why did he break up with you in the first place?

Nyssaki Thank u!.... I have watched almost all of the videos of Adrian n Nat.. N Ya... It had been 3months of the break up... I have been working on myself... Not for my ex but for my own self... Nd regarding my capability to keep him happy,, yes I had flaws... But those flaws were not so grave to which one would break up... That is why I mentioned 'may be he was feeling it hard to drag the relationship because it was a 4 n a half years long relationship '

Hopefully there will a tipping point in my ex:s life as well. Damn I have learned so much from my 2 last breaks ups. I am like another person when it comes to relationships. This stuff should be taught in schools as it is such a valuable thing for basically every human in the world. I wish the best will happen and concentrate on improving myself and being a better version of myself. My story is to go from being too clingy in relationships to being too distant. I used to be such a needy person. Must have horrible to date with. Then again I decided I get rid of my insecurities and needyness and I manage to over do it. Now I am aiming for the sweet balance between cold and warm.

This answers alot of questions I been asking myself. After 30 days he broke during my NC process. I haven't responded. Checked to see if I was ok. It's been 4 days now since the text. I'm not 100% mentally since the breakup but I have been trying to train my brain to heal myself. Working out etc. I thought about responding but I think I should continue to work on myself first. Hi, love your content but I am confused with the growing and evolving part of things..... if we concentrate on ourselves so much, grow, develop, evolve we will inevitably not want our exes back ..... we will outgrow them and move on, we will start living our own lives and leave them behind...... we will not want to be with them again ...... this is how I am feeling at the moment, i am still in love with him but I have grown so much and created my own new life I don’t think we can be together again ...... what’s your thoughts on this?? Hii there .. My ex broke up with me on 24th April 2018 and then she tried to talk to me for once or twice but on 16th may 2018 she texted me telling that she wants me back again . She said that " she loves me cannot fine anyone better than me and only her God knows that and she really means it " . So I thought she might have realized her mistake . I talked to her about this topic for 5-6 days whether she said truth or not .. But on 25th may she said that lets not worry about the future and on the next day she said it's not working out .. Since that day I am following no contact method . Plz suggest me what should I do now and more over she is also studying psychology and after a month of our breakup she came In a relationship with this new guy but their relationship lasted for only about 2 weeks .. Please tell me what should I do ? Is she going to come back to me?

Hi coach Alex and coach Adrian. I did NC for 3 months and now my ex and I are talking again. But the thing is she's with her previous ex again. We spoke and she admitted the breakup was her fault. The thing is we speak like old times just without the cute names. See i was with her for 7 months but her guy now was with her before me for 3 years. hey coach Natalie ALEX and ADRAIN My ex gf broken up last 3 months ago... I chased her and begged her around 15 days... after that I started no contact .... in between NC I saw my ex blocked me on Facebook then later she unblocked too ... after completing NC first I done with message to reach her... she talked me of 2-3 text and then she started ignoring my text later I disappeared for 10-15 days and once again i texted her and apologized my mistake over text to her .... and finally she said she dont want to be in relastionship with me .... and blocked me on fb .... and i noticed day before yesterday once again she unblocked me on fb...... and when I saw I finally blocked her, where she used to block me ( Fb) ... am not able to understand why she behaving like this .... blocking and unblocking, ignoring my text and all please help me please coach ADRAIN ALEX

First of all thanks, Alex and Adrian! Love your advice. First let me break down a situation I have with my ex girlfriend after one year of our relationship. I foresaw that she cheated on me, and discarded me when i confronted her. Immediately afterwards she went to bed with the much older guy (+20 years) but still contacted me. Finally I used the 'no contact' method and she started stalking me. Phoned me with numerous calls and several texts. She felt that she lost me, and removed all pictures of me from her social media. Counts this as a 'turning point'? To me it feels more like an ex with narcissistic behaviours. What should I do?

update: she removed my pictures from her instagram, she's full of hate. and yes, i know it's a different 'face' but why should i go back with a girl who showed her real face?

We broke up three months ago but she reaches out every 3-5 days.It felt like we were getting closer in March.We even kissed one day.Once Caronavirus started I haven't seen her as much.She will randomly drop by to have me come outside to get it,it's usually a burger or burrito or something but hasn't come in.I don't know if she's afraid of things going too fast or something but that's what's happening.She will say in her texts that some days she seems ok but that other days suck and will send me songs about missing someone.

My ex and I met through a family member... he came and asked for me but has broken up with me and came back 3 times already. Each time he went it would be my fault because I was too nice to him. A few days ago I put up a picture online and he replied to the story by saying how I need to cover up when I put pictures online.... I was wearing a top and only my arms were showing. 😅 anyways I have never been mean or up front with him. But this time I replied by saying “ your not in my life” which is true. He never replied to that. Although he does still look at my stories but this time he just doesn’t reply. what does this mean? what should I d? I don’t want to lose him because I love him too much and I can never have the same feelings I have for him towards any other guy. I have tried dating other guys but I just don’t feel that connection that I do when I’m with him.

Is already been 6 months...hehe reaches out to me few times , recently he just texted me , he got a new place and a new car ..then he keep sharing his personal life to me in WhatsApp...but didn’t really pay attention to my social media but I saw him keep on liking one of my friend pictures ...I am so confused what does this mean?help

Hey guys, I have a situation, my ex broke up with me a month a go, said she wasnt happy, after applying no contact and radio silence she reached out to me to return something of mine, came over and looked really happy to see me, of course I worked on myself and lost weight even my hair is different, I was very cordial in the meeting and talked for a couple minutes then she left. is this a sign of a tipping point? What should I do?

He broke up with me and I didn't no contact, he text me after 2 weeks saying he thinks we can still have something special and I said we should talk in person about this and he said I agree, then he didn't reach out at all....I was waiting for him to come forward and take action. Few days after I text him asking if he still wants to talk and he said because I didn't reach out to him that he came to think that I'm moving on and that as much as it hurts we made the right decision and then he said he loves me so much and all that. Did I miss the opportunity? What should I do now?

Iv been married to my husband for almost 7 years, we argued through the years some were bad but we always made up in deep love. Once I got pregnant I was alone while my husband went to relocate us once our daughter was born I neglected him I became cold and horrible for almost a year I was just angry and took it out on him daily. He left me we live together but he said we will never be again I'm pregnant too he feels like I'll never change that I'm not motivated I got complacent and treated him like shit. I was to dumb to stop I had excuses he told family friends before I knew I want to save my marriage what do I do?! When he comes close (our chemistry is strong) he forces himself to pull away. He kissed me days ago for the first time in weeks once we play like we did as best friends he thinks I'm manipulating him. I can barely eat sleep please help me.

My ex broke up with me because I kept telling him to bc he was acting distant and i was feeling insecure. He basically took me up on it. I instantly regretted it. It’s now been 4 weeks and we see each other all the time. We’re intimate. It’s like we’re still together... but when I ask him, he says “we’re not”. I don’t know what to think.

Hi coach during no contact rule my ex contact me and asking for a coffee just a small talk but what if during the date she ask for a closure?? we end our 5yrs relationship a month ago and I just started no contact rule 2wks ago what do you think coaches? does she miss me? or she want a closure? if she ask a closure do I still have a chance? the only reason of our breakup was as she said before she was already tired and didn't love me anymore, she was really confuse that time
