These things are true, my ex left me for someone else. I followed every video of love advice tv. 2 months from no contact my ex contacted me, but i did not gave in, i ignored her calls and chats. 7 months into no contact he begged for me to come back and she admits she regrets leaving me for someone else, u know what i did? I focused on myself and my goals on those 7 months from no contact. I focused on my career and physical aspect of my life, i learned new hobbies. When she saw i was not the man when i was on our rel she came back. Dont misunderstand me, all those months i realized she doesnt deserve me. I dont want her back.

After two months of not seeing each other and having very low communication, we finally got to hang out. She told me I looked more handsome (I lost 40lbs, changed hairstyle, new glasses, better facial care, way much better fashion), had said she was able to see and feel something different about me (I learned to be a much better listener and more careful with my words) and at the end of night, she was amazed how much benefit I was getting from finally focusing on myself. I NEEDED to love myself more! Things are still confusing but I am still trying to be the best person I can! It ain’t easy!! But we do have a second date coming up in a week, so we’ll see.

My ex broke up with me once. I worked on myself during nc. He did not. Now he broke up with me again because of the same things that caused problems in our relationship in the first place that he needed to change. But he blames me. How do I get him to realize that he needs to change now? I’m in nc again now. I love who I am and am proud of the changes that I have made for the better. Everyone around me even sees it. I just wish that my ex would appreciate it. I’ve always treated him extremely well and have accepted him for who he is. He says that he doesn’t want a relationship after our 3 1/2 year relationship but doesn’t seem to be able to let go. His patterns keep repeating themself and i really just don’t know what to do anymore. I love this man with all of my heart and soul.

The first time he left, I thought He was a drama queen bc I didn't like every show & song he liked, but no big deal on my part; I am easy going, thought we could compromise! He said love & attraction was not enough to keep us together in the long run. After 3 months, he returned, but only 1 month, we had a disagreement, he was not willing to discuss it; no open communication on his part. After following everything u guys said. My ex and I did get back together. After two days of getting back together I found out that he almost had sex with another woman but stopped cuz he realized he didn't want to and wasn't into it. we dated one year but we start to have problems because she was not invested in the relationship as i was. we broke up 3 months ago. First 5 days of no contact and she text me. Ex gf broke up with me 3 months ago, since we lived together we had to split up our assets like a divorce. I did no contact for the last month, during that time I found out someone started talking to her the day of the break up, 3 weeks after the break up the calls stopped. I got a feeling she is seeing someone now, not sure if it's the same person as the calls. We basically live next to each other, saw another car there this weekend that I have never seen before, anxiety went thru the roof. We workout at the same gym, I had lost 30 pounds since the break up. That's been my life for the last 3 months. Not sure what to do next, everyone says move on. Still love her tho.

i’ve had no contact and my first meet up yesterday, however my ex still believes he not good for me. he cried and told me he hates to think of me meeting someone new but he’s not good, i think i’ve made him think this with my high expectations previously. do you think this means i should stop? we kissed but i left before it could go any further!

Hi Venus, If he thinks he feels not good enough for you then you should find someone who holds you in the highest regard. If he feels that way then you may not feel that your needs will be met. Coach Samira

Its been 2.5years after our breakup. My bday is before hers and the first year she wished me happy bday. i did not reply and i did not wish her on hers. this year she was quite and i have not heard from her. she is in a relationship after the breakup (about a monthafter). i really want to wish her this year as i feel strong about myself. i aslo would like to reconnect and meet her. i dont want to cause problems whith what she has but should it not work out in the future or whatever, i would like to try again. i want to become her friend again after this long and make sure that it is what i want. if not then i am ok with it but i want to know if we can still stand a chance. please give me some advise on this as i dont want to send her off running too.

The thing is.. I don't really know what went wrong. He broke up and said he couldn't imagine a future with me, but doesn't know why, because he is happy. And we didn't fight, like I never thought he would break up. Everything was so perfect I thought? Like.. it's hard to understand? I know I was very needy and talked a lot about future plans and stuff... but I still don't know if those really were the reasons? It's driving me crazy. :(

In a relationship, you should be accepting the other person for who they are. I do appreciate it that she’s being herself. However, she’s flirting with other guys and that really bothers me. Another thing is that she flirted even before we dated, so this is kinda a personality of her. She usually compliment them on their looks, saying ‘I love you’ out of habit to them. It hurts me and I’ve talked to her about it. However, she still continue to flirt after that. Is this disrespectful? What should I do?

Hey Deepti, perhaps you are placing your happiness on how your ex treats you. You can't determine your level of happiness based on someone else's treatment of you. That gives the other person too much control and takes your own happiness out of your own hands - Coach Adrian

My ex told me he wants space and needs time to focus on himself. Almost two months have passed in NC. I don't want to reach out first because he asked for space and I respect that. I was very clingy and needy in our relationship and I think that's the best I can do. I've changed. I have depression for 5 years but now I started to fight it. I want to be a better person for him but first of all for myself. I found a new passion, I've started seing friends I'm motivated more than ever. But I don't know if I'm doing the right thing not reaching out. Few weeks ago I found out that I have 2 years to have a children. I determined that I would wait another month and if he doesn't reach out I will have to let it go. Do you think I'm doing the right thing?

Ka bacjak, I think you should wait more 2 months hardly if you really love him. And go on your self development process as well. If he doesn’t show up within this time, just move on. Additionally, you can send him a brief hand written letter that he is gonna lose you. And move on and go for making a family of your own. Time is very crucial thing for women.

Means just what she says...move on it's a high chance another man has slept with her. Women are really always looking to look for the comfort of a man and need reassurance. The guy shes probably been taking up her time for 5 months is going to be your biggest issue. She will compare his innocence to every issue you guys had and she will most likely make you feel like you were never for her. I'm dealing with something similar right this moment.
