Their later stuff is pretty good too. It's mostly just guitars with not too much effects on, other than overdrive with some feedback at times. It's great if you're a bit tired of dense shoegaze. 😁

@@ianmorey9550 CDs are sonically superior to streamed music. Try it and will notice a huge difference in fidelity and compression. I prefer CDs.

@@victorjbarker bruh, they are not sonically superior to anything except tapes. I will say though, CDs are about the same as streamed music and if you have an old car or you want to be able to have music after the apocalypse when spofity dies, then yes CDs make sense

I was a project head and designer of award winning recording studio monitors and worked in and proved out at the conservatory of recording arts and sciences, I have conducted many tests, listening tests and measurement events in my lab for the AES (Audio Engineering Society), but you know, whatever you say...👍🏽🤣

I was raised at Possum Kingdom lake which is what this song is referencing and this song put us on the map. It's a beautiful place

The toadies! One of our first tours ever was in Texas with them (1995 if I remember correct ) when this song was breaking for them. I remember it so fondly. Fun times. Great song choice 🔥

By the way, I have noticed that, sometimes when you hit the power chords, the sound seems to change on the video. It seems to get more "trebley!" Is the mic you're using compressing the sound of the guitar? 😀
