I don't understand people who cant fathom why Jay got the Tonight Show. He was the best out there back in the day. Freaking hilarious.

I totally remember watching this on TV back in the day! Or at least this bit. Maybe it was from his standup.

Good for his dad because he was right and it was honored. I saw a guy go into the Sears for a new hammer the same way and it was replaced no charge

And it carried on in to the Jimmy Falllon Tonight Show with Jay guest hosting for Jimmy.

Leno's dad was ahead of his time.

Leno was hillarios, Letterman not so much.
