This is such a great series idea! I enjoyed hearing what everybody had to say. I’m looking forward to the concealer votes. Concealer is where I struggle finding something that truly work with my mature eyes so maybe somehow a few of the viewers who comment on the concealer will add in their age as well.
Have you tried Kosas the revealer concealer ? It’s an eye cream /concealer duo ; & it’s beautiful. Works wonderfully on the entire face too! I’m very picky with concealers , so that’s saying something. They have incredible shades & undertone choices. A lot of brands don’t carry olive undertones or pale enough or deep enough variances but Kosas does & they keep adding more. Gotta love that, keeping all of us in mind.
I’m 40yrs and I didn’t wear concealer for a couple years until I start getting discoloration under my eyes so I realized I had to find something then Tarte came out with their ultra creamy concealer and I tried it because my daughter uses the regular Tarte concealer, well it was so good, now my daughter also wears this one too
For a worry free day for me I reach for L’Oréal Freshwear. I’m a nurse, I’m running around my floor the whole shift and sweating. I have masks on. The Freshwear doesn’t melt off, doesn’t transfer onto masks, and still looks great after 12 hours! 🙌🏻 So love seeing it in number 1!
Estée Lauder Double Wear is the only foundation that stays on my oily skin that never quits, not just the foundation but my oily skin, which is still pumping out oil as I am in my 60s. I do not have crepeyness in my skin, the good part.
It’s super underrated, but seriously the Catrice HD foundation is my holy grail. Allie, please give that one a try!! We have very similar skin types and I know you’ll love it!!!!!

I agree a real glam Bam all out look ! I never yet seen Allie do a real contour look ! I love Scott Barnes and his contour look very blended as I’d love to see Allie major contour her nose ! She never slenderizes or changes her look as far as shading ??? I’m curious to see that look

I love love love mixing the double wear with the Armani for the most amazing finish. I put a pump of each on the back of my hand mix then apply. I get so many skin compliments when I do it !!
I love that this is going to be a series. The ones where viewers submit or vote are my favs! I like a lot of foundations that I've tried but always move on to different ones so I'm not super consistent! The one that I've bought the most of over the years is the it cc cream but currently finding it too heavy for my current preferences.
Double wear was my go to, then replaced it with the L’Oréal. I think double wear lasts a bit better/less transfer but the L’Oréal is so much cheaper and a bit less heavy looking
Fun series! Looking forward to more. I agree to the EL Double Wear. It’s my go to for Louisiana heat/humidity and oily skin. Plus, I’m 40 so it works with aging, imperfect skin.

Usually when I repurchase something it's evidence that I love it. For years I've used the Maybelline Fit me foundation but now I'm on my second bottle of Wet 'n Wild Photo Focus. Love hearing everyone's opinions ❤
I bought it the other day for the first time, and honestly it’s worked better for me than ANY high end foundation I’ve tried. It’s very natural looking. I have problems with patchiness and foundation rubbing off of my nose and forehead area and just looking like there’s foundation on my face, but not in a good way. That foundation doesn’t do that!
The L’Oréal is my holy grail foundation! It’s just so good! I wore it yesterday outside with 106 heat and sweat. I was outside like 7 hrs, didn’t come in much. It holds baby! And I have oily skin. 🤯

I recently realized that NYX born to glow Is a dupe for the Giorgio Armani luminous glow/ silk. In fact I like the NYX BETTER! If you like Armani PLEASE do half of a face with NYX born to glow in the rifht color with the right primer. If you need more luminosity use a primer with with some glow in it.

The pretty fresh tinted moisturizer has been my NUMBER 1 since you’ve recommended it. As a mom who constantly hugs and loves on her kids, it’s great not worrying about it rubbing off on them. It’s like skin. It’s light. It’s literally the best for everyday!

The Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation is my favorite foundation for my acne prone skin. I love how it wears and stays forever on my skin. Normally when I wear liquid foundation I break out but the Pretty Fresh Foundation covers my acne prone skin. The other best foundation I love is the Maybelline SuperStay 16 HR Powder Foundation. I normally do liquid foundation than concealer than go over my liquid foundation/ concealer with a powder foundation.
The Too Faced Born This Way Foundation was my wedding day foundation as well!! I LOVED it when I had a tan but I tried the porcelain shade in the winter and it just seemed thicker than their darker shades. Idk if I’m crazy or what but their seems to be a formula difference as the shades get darker

It seems like a finicky foundation, or one where you need a specific skin type for, and there are much better out there. So I’m not surprised haha. For me personally, the lightest shade looks straight up orange on me once it oxidizes. It’s super cakey no matter how I apply it, emphasizes my acne and texture, and immediately breaks up (I live in a tropical climate).
Same here. My favorites are Bare Minerals concealer, MAC Mineralized Skin Finish, NYX #NOFILTER, Physician's Formula pressed minerals, Meow Minerals, PF loose mineral foundation, MAC Studio Fix, Laura Gellar. I want to try JCat Aquasurance. And although they're not really foundations, the newer Covergirl powders are amazing. I also love No7 powders. Loose is a dead on dupe for LM and pressed is a CT dupe. SOOOO good!

Wow! The foundation I chose a few weeks ago as my mother of the groom wedding foundation is the infallible. Now I can't wait to give it a try. The new Shiseido synchro skin radiant lifting foundation is amazing. Best foundation I’ve ever tried and apparently a dupe for Tom Ford shade and illuminate foundation.
So, really important: if you prefer a dewy finish the L'Oreal infallible is NOT for you. I bought two different shades and I couldn't figure out what was bothering me so much. Then I realized that I just looked way too dry. I have dry/normal skin. This foundation was not for me. But my sister who has oily skin loves it.
Completely agree with the number one choice! Only foundation I’ve bought a second bottle of! Makes me look so smooth! Great coverage and not super heavy!
