Brother Zach! I guess my first day in HVAC as a “filter jerker “ was the beginning of a satisfying career (8/9/93). I started off at $7.50 per hour. I worked 55 hours per week and changed filters along with running the warehouse and going to HVAC school; 2 nights a week finishing the day at 9 pm those nights. The second day was when I passed the union’s Journeymen’s test in 2005. I was now a recognized professional. I was never recognized for anything in my life other than one who had potential but never capitalized on it. The third was the day I retired; 12/31/19 almost 5 years ago. I was in the trade a little over 26 years. I went from making $7.50 per hour to $75 per hour when I retired. I receive 2 pension checks; one for my being a journeyman and another from the plumbers and Pipefitters pension plan. Not too bad for a C+ student in high school and a college dropout. Btw: All the glory goes to God. I never planned this out. I’m not that smart. I tried everything to screw this up. I guess he knew that I would eventually grow up and head in the right direction. To say that he’s patient is an understatement. I’ll be 71 years old this year and am truly grateful for my career as a service mechanic in HVAC. Time to put the coffee on. Great share, brother. Shabbat Shalom. God bless. Blaze

I remember getting my epa license and hanging out at Ed’s supply in Nashville tn, falling at all of the tools. Good times Going off on my own was such a huge day. I remember my first customer, (still a loyal customer of mine) Times have changed but I love it. I never would have thought I’d be where I am today, say 3 years ago. Anyways, keep up the great work brother 🤘🏼

My best day was actually my supervisor at the time very worse day. I was at the company I work for now about 4 months and the service manager was holding me back. Only sent me on PMs or change parts after someone else diagnosed. He got fired for other reasons and 11 years later still here flourishing. Great story Zack 🤙

Hmm Roanoke is not that far from me here. I can see your thinking on the best days. You may very be the youngest on that certificate! I have to agree with you things are still down the line to deal with. Sometimes yours or my big days and deals can’t compare to the big guys but they’re very important to us. You endured the bad days and you’re still around congratulations and god bless you!!
