I'm a large pretty well built powerlifter who benches 400(swear I'm not lying I actually have the video of it lol) who also happens to have really bad social anxiety I developed earlier in life. I always assumed that women could see how uncomfortable I was all the time and was routinely surprised when they didn't seem to act as though that was the case. Realizing the assumptions women make about me will likely give me a bit more space to be confident in interactions. Here's how things are screwed up: When women want to know about men, they gather their girlfriends and research by women and lock men out of the room. When men want to know about women, they steel up the nerve and date one. Women end up seeing men as defective women that need to be fixed, and men have no idea what the hell is going on with a woman.

I found this out at a young age and but can't help seeing it as a turn-off and a red flag. If you're too much of a spoiled lazy brat to even show signals to a guy you like, I'll assume that attitude will continue to persist later on in the relationship. Dating a woman like that is probably a one-sided relationship where the guy puts in all the effort and investment while the woman only takes and never gives. "If he wanted to he would" goes both ways. If you as a woman really wanted to, you would've done the bare minimum of showing you're interested. If you can't do the bare minimum, why should I even waste my time with you? Also, women only like being pursued and approached by men they find attractive. Otherwise you're a creepy, icky, weirdo she's talk about to all her friends. God forbid you share the same social circle or work in the same establishment, because now you run the risk of your reputation being tarnished in the eyes of other women. This is definitely one of my biggest problems with pursuing women, but I can't look past it. Pregnancy aside, men invest and risk far more pursuing women and yet we're expected to take shots in the dark because women can't be bothered to show signs of interest in men they like. When they do show signs of interest, it's so nuanced that you're left second guessing yourself anyway.

I get choosing signals, but at the same time - it does seem like some women can remain "dormant" I'll call it, and only after you first engage with them or show some sort of favorable body language at least - only then will her interest be shown in an obvious way. Ya I have a lot of trauma related to women at a early age. It's extremely hard to be confident around them.

If you are looking at porn, stop it at least for a while. So you can see that women are just human beings. Something that holds back 'some' men is that when they see a beautiful woman, they immediately think about the sexual things they would like to do. Or sexualizing them in some form / fashion. Nice ass, big boobs or what ever. (Don't get me wrong, it's not wrong to think about those things. Just if it becomes the only thing in the mind, you will come off as awkward / desperate. Women got a knack for knowing if you are into them or not anyway) And that is blocking a lot of men from even starting a conversation, putting unnecessary pressure of how she thinks of you in a sexual way, etc.

I think good idea is to make fantasy dream girl in your mind which you are comfortably with and project this image on real girls you meet with. Then it will be easier to deal with them. After some time your fantasy will adjust to reality and you still fell comfortable.

I'm a guy, and older, but will offer my views. Look up videos on "trauma bonding". Basically, a lot of people who were traumatized in childhood or young adulthood are drawn to partners and relationships that repeat those patterns, due to psychological factors. E.g. a child of alcoholic may have had to "parent" their parent, and later in life is drawn into relationships with people with messed up lives (addiction or rage or ...) so they can be in the role of "fixer" or "parent" or "savior". And by re-enacting their core wounds, these people believe "I am getting what I deserve". Same goes with many consensual kinks, in my view. Just because a person gives consent to be humiliated, degraded, or hurt in a kink doesn't mean it is healthy, even when it stays within those boundaries. But giving consent to those opens the door for the dominant + abusive partner to go further when ever it suits them or when ever they lose control and it becomes domestic violence. The victim can then blame themselves as being complicit, as baiting the abuser or not being submissive enough, or not being loyal enough. While I appreciate Victoria's views and ideas, I think other RU-vid channels offer worthwhile information about what makes relationships and sex psychologically healthy, or not. Hope this helps.

It's a speciality niche interest that most people don't have the interest or drive to think about so much. This took place in a part of the world where prostitution is legal. …Women don't feel the need to give choosing signals. They want to be pursued, they want to be chased. …In USA, the land of the free, fear of jail is a very real and legitimate fear, in far too many situations, but not all situations. USA would be a much better place to live if USA would legalize prostitution. Guys who go too long without sex, become mentally ill. For men, sex is one of the basic necessities of life, and many men in USA become frustrated because it's illegal to pay for sex in USA. …Paying attention to red lights is more important than searching for green lights. I don't agree with this. I think that both are important. More men need to be educated about green lights that exist, which they don't notice, because they don't know how to see them. Many men are blind to green lights which do exist. …There is an exception. Many women are skilled at practicing poker face. They are skilled at hiding their desires. They hide their desires, because they are protecting themselves from psychopathic men who have gone way too long without sex. These men have gone way too long without sex, because some crazy religious politicians have outlawed prostitution in USA.
