Yes I think it was very real. If we could actually see history the way that it actually happened, then I think we would be shocked. It would be very different then what the books tell us.
Very interesting presentation. Thank you. I watched a video about the Tower of Babel and Nimrod that might be of interest to you or maybe not. I found it interesting when I compare it to the Book of Abraham. Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. You can see this symbolism in the ceiling of the Payson Utah Temple. Is it possible that these are the stars we see in the heavens? Is the night sky outer darkness? The Lord said that Satan fell as lightning to the earth. Could that be shooting stars. Thoughts beyond modern day science. I believe the earth and the heavens are set up exactly as described in the Book of Moses and Abraham. A firmament divides the waters above the firmament from the waters below the firmament. I believe God word not man's science. Just some thoughts and thank you.
Thank you for the suggestion. Like you mentioned, I think the scriptures are plain however we do need the correct view of them. When we see things for what they really are then they will be so much more amazing then we realized and so much simpler also.
@@uncorrelatedmormonism It's not my responsibility. This story is as preposterous as the flood myth and the resurrection myth. Where would we find the Tower? Name one artifact that we can find?
@@sdfotodude It needs to exist today for it to ever have existed? This is pretty strange logic. Numerous cuneiform tablets have been found from the city Babylon which describe a tower and actually show a tower. The Tower of Babel is more accurately translated as the Tower of Babylon. Andrew George of the University of London has done some research into this.
