Interesting. I can see how pinning their arm under their leg and crunching their head in with the elbow can easily make the position secure when done right. Man, this is quite the variation on the pass.

Kenneth Brown BJJ I should probably come up with distinct names for the differences but I call all of my variations “The Tozi Pass” this one is the meanest for sure 🤣💀

Pinning the near biceps is a really good idea. I've been trying this pass but using a crossface instead. Most of the time, opponent ends up rotating with me. I'll try pinning the biceps next time. Thanks

Here after DDP used it against Whittaker, is this pass something you can only use againt similar size opponents or could it be used against bigger too? I ask because stacking type passing normally relies a good amount on being strong enough to pressure your opponent heavy. Cheers

Are you afraid that the opponent might invert and try to go to choi bar or just will try to flower sweep into armbar?
