I am brokenhearted. I threw a 150 yard touchdown for this team in the late 70s. Still a school record. I was an All-american of course. Sad to see this level of decline.

There are others scams like prep College hdoing the same thing there's a college that was in North Carolina where players complained about payments not even being paid I mean that's crazy that's like another school in Atlanta that does the same thing.

It’s funny that the school is abbreviated “BS” Also there’s never been a Bishop Sycamore ever. I’m going to start a St. Spurlin online high school team and gather some 20 year olds who meet with a beer at the library once a month

This is both hilarious and tragic at the same time, tragic in the sense that it was very dangerous, I actually graduated from the school that they played on Friday at Sto-Rox(small town outside of Pittsburgh) Bishop was literally take helmets and jerseys off of hurt players and putting them on players because they didn't have enough Jersey's, they didn't have away jerseys so both teams were in black and made it impossible to tell who was who

Not only that but imagine if somehow his players causes a severe injury go an IMG D1 recruit? Especially if it’s a 20 year old that’s a serious situation leading to lawsuits and a sad story for a IMG player getting hurt for no reason bc this BS school can’t tackle and probably chop blocks etc

As someone who follows Ohio high school football it was pretty obvious something was going on from before the game even started I have watched many Ohio high school football games, basically the entire playoffs (all the divisions) and I had never even heard of this team before

Thanks for your summary. If you want to hear directly from the Bishop Sycamore administrator and coach, check out an unedited full-length press interview that was posted on RU-vid by "419 Football". It is very long but you get to hear for yourself all of the lame excuses that the school officials give for their failures. A couple of parents were part of the conference call and they shared their feelings about what was really going on at the "school". That was also very interesting to hear.

One of player Aaron boyd. Just told the story on Instagram the complex TV news he saying that the head coach been writing bad checks and that he's got them living out of hotel room with all the guys are. Stealing from shopping stores and they half of the team is from New York while other half is it from Columbus is just a sad situation is going on and I hope the coach is arrested. The coach was the athletic director and they lied to all the players saying that they had housing.

I find it odd no one said anything last year. They played IMG on 10 /16 /20 and got smashed 56-6 or something along those lines. This was the second time they played IMG and the score was almost identical.

So Urinating Tree made a LONG thread on Twitter about everything he found, but it looked like a team before Bishop sycamore was trying to be based a a church, but the church baked out last minute (probably because they realized how shady the business was). I don’t remember the name exactly, obriviation was CoF and the only win was 14-13 against Brother Rice,from Michigan, in the 18-19 season. Max preps has no stats or roster, just the final and that they went 1-11 that season
