We had to return to Thailand to pick up my trusty sidekick to join me and @baldandbankrupt on our sweaty asian adventure! However after we tried to continue our journey we soon realised the flights to Laos were crazy expensive! So there was only one option left...the $10 sleeper train!
It left the station in Bangkok and headed to the Laos border for 14 hours on Thailand's 3rd class ticket, we were in for a brutal night!
