That is rather brilliant, because by mismatching (“trans men are not women”), they are affirming the transition, which is what we exactly want. And by matching it correctly (“trans women are not women”), the transphobes are calling trans people the correct gender in the act of identifying them, and thus contradicting themselves inherently.

As a cis female (at least, I think I am), I apologise for their behaviour. I don't claim any of them. EDIT: Well, this is awkward (questioning gender/transness intensifies).
That's totally true,a bunch of my classmates would misuse my pronouns on purpose, and I'd never say anything, I'd always stay silent. And one day, this one girl comes with messy hair and complains to me about how her long hair is hard to take care of,,i POLITELY suggested her, that she should cut her hair short, since it'd be easier to manage. And the next thing i knew, is that, she had a fit ;-;. She was literally screaming the words "You have no rights on my hair", i didn’t waste a minute, walked straight outta the class. And didn't talked to that disrespectful group of people the whole year, studied hard, came first, showed them who's boss. This happened wayyyy back in middle school, I'm in College now,and have come out as pan:))),. Sorry for the grammar mistakes, English is not my first language :((
@@cheesecake8100 Oh no, I'm really sorry for you. Also, your English is really good! For someone who doesn't speak English as their first language, you sounded very fluent in it! :)
Transphobic meme: “Cookie Monster: I would rather give up cookies than support trans right” Me, a Sesame Street connoisseur: If given the choice between Cookies and supporting and loving people and their rights Cookie Monster would choose loving people, Cookie Monster does coannoniclly like his greens
This is late AF, but I think phobe( as in phobia) can mean both fear and hatred. Some of them have general fear of their children or family members coming out as trans or they are scared of finding a trans person attractive which makes them question their sexuality because they think it's gay. (I don't believe that but that's the mindset transphobes have) People respond to fear in multiple ways either avoidance or hostility.
it's like saying "you are wrong for practicing complex math, because look at simple math". they know the equivalent of 1+1=2 and yell at trans ppl for doing the equivalent of a²+b²=c².
They're talking about highschool biology, which is actually so simplified (so it can be taught quickly) that it's actually wrong. Teachers simplify the information enough to make it basically incorrect, so even their "basic biology" is wrong
8:50 Fun fact: the Titanic didn't carry enough lifeboats for every person on board. Now that modern ships do carry enough lifeboats, this meme is irrelevant.
Fun fact: Biology has discovered that the genes that allow reptiles and fish to naturally change genders is still present in humans just constantly being disabled. Human gonads are just too complicated to fully function through the transition but science will likely be able to adjust that eventually.
me, a respectful liberal transgender woman: "hi, may I ask what are your pronouns?" Transphobe: "I don't have pronouns, I ain't one of them their Transgenders" Me, a bit confused: "how do you identify then?" Them, smiling proudly: I'm a Republican and a god-fearing man!"
Why is no one talking about how a transphobe wrote a meme about "I'm not gonna respect THEIR pronoun" like I thought they believed singular they is a grammar mistake? :3
Considering how big your channel is, I’m very surprised you only have 4 comments on this rn😂 so here’s you fifth and a like. Also, I love your content.
@@londonhughes5986 Oh god no I wish that was me, my pfp is a screenshot from the musical Hamilton, the character is Thomas Jefferson and he's played by Daveed Diggs
It's so funny how these people say "I don't make it my whole identity!" Then make their whole identity about conforming to gender stereotypes Also, the military argument is hilarious to me. So you only want straight cis men in the military? You... want to send the group you *want* to keep off to die? Alright, but don't complain when the ratio if the people you don't like starts to even out with the ones you do.
so... you only got the sprinkles on the cake. not even the icing. there are multiple perspectives here so ill brake them with double spaces and try to keep them short. when gay men joined the military gRape went up about 500% causing them to make a SHARP program that only defend women and EO which protects the LGBT from being discriminated against all the gRaping. i think its about 60% of the military is puerto rican or some type of foreigner? basically they pass a qualification test and in exchange for American citizenship if they complete 2-6 years in the military. and the military depending on the branch is just a college. over 170 jobs and only 7 put you into combat. the rest are cooks, lawyers and so on. army= college air force= copany navy= lgbt Marians = cult national guard/ the nasty girls= at home college. cost guard= border patrol i guess.
I've had people say to my face, "Transmen aren't women," then look startled when I agreed without argument. It's satisfying until it's followed up with a very confused, "So you agree that you're not actually a guy?" Come on, if you're going to get all up riled up about a topic, then learn something about it before forming an opinion.
Wait... what?? Okay, so they're trying to say men aren't women... therefore men aren't men??? That second statement confuses me so much. How does one get so turned around? My brain hurts.
hey guys! i know this might be a little irrelevant but my doctor finally green lighted starting hormone therapy! i know the road may seem long, but you’ll get there!
Indeed. In fact a bit ago a man participating in a genetic trial was discovered to be a 46XX male. In further study expanding to his family it was discovered his brother was also 46XX male, as was his dad and grandfather. Three generations of virile 46XX males. It seems that at least four generations ago an ancestor lost the gene which is supposed to prevent the Y chromosome from participating in mitosis, resulting in the SRY region being transcribed onto the X chromosome and a family line now where all the males are 46XX.
@@min_nad Androgeny is Gender presentation, which can be different from gender identity. For example, while I'm NB and have been for some time now, I still very much present as Male.
So, at this point... we all just know to call J.K. by “he/him” if we ever see him in person, right? And if he throws a fit about it, to be like “prove it” or “facts over feelings” or “I can tell a man in a dress apart from a real woman.” Especially if he’s not wearing a dress. That actually makes it much funnier.
@@ctrlqae I love how they're all like 'it's just basic biology.' First off how about you read anything beyond an elementary school textbook, secondly that's just a rehash of the same argument that was used by 'race scientist' to justify white supremacy.
it’s really funny bc Jefferson Starburst is a man, so whoever put him as the standard for beautiful women...may not...be...as not into women as they think
I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw that "meme" (yuck), all I could think about was how JS is a man and has never claimed to be one, and they used Ethan Nestor (CrankGameplays) as a child in the right photo😂
That "I'd rather give up cookies" meme has a whole new level of fun in Brazil, because cookies (biscoitos) in Brazil are a slang for appreciation and compliments (like commenting compliments in someone's pictures on IG is "giving them cookies") 🌈 Transphobes don't get cookies 🌈
I love how transphobes don't realize that being transgender is supported by biology, I mean my biology teacher even explained why transgender people exist and why more people are mtf than ftm
"i don't think transgender people should serve in the military" my mind goes to the spoof: "They are the last, most pure bastion of our country, a national treasure, and they must be protected at all costs."
The quoted meme from the video wasn’t even clever in any way. It just stated an opinion. I thought memes were supposed to be clever or at least jokes...?
I mean, I am trans and have no interest in killing people over oil, so... No loss. I don't think anyone should serve in the military. Fuck upholding imperialism!
These memes wouldn’t even be funny even if they weren’t horribly transphobic. They’re just dry and poorly structured, there like Facebook boomer humour.
I like putting the colors of a flag in procreate and then her and then putting black over it and writing the word and designing it and I did that today and then he posted and it gave me life

Fun fact: Some men do have xx chromosomes and a penis. Also the y chromosome is actually a mutation, originally there was only xx. Really makes you wonder!
Sadly “this one has more cowbell” makes sense to me, a southerner. It’s like this one is louder? Metaphor for hard to ignore basically. Should graffiti a trans flag over that sign, that’s plenty of cowbell 😂.
As a trans man studying biology in college, I just love it when transphobes use the "Y is male and X is female" thingy cause there are some cis man with XX chromosmes and cis women with XY chromosomes.... And so much more in between and out too! Anyway, thank you Jamie for being such a nice guy and a big inspiration to me
@@naseemaal-habib5930 Oh boy, were do I start? It’s a very vast subject but I can give you some information and you can always do your own research if you’re really interested ^^ honestly I could give you a one hour lecture and only graze the surface! So first, about the XY women and XX men: Like I said, some people are expressing the characteristics of a sex different to the sex that’s supposed to go with their chromosomes, the only difference is that those individuals are infertile, but there is some in between in regarding there appearance too, like ambiguities concerning there genitalia (you should search XX male syndrome and Swyer syndrome to learn more). There is also the case of people with three sexual chromosomes like for example in the case of the Klinefelter syndrome, or people with only an X chromosomes (only the Y doesn’t exist, a fetus can’t develop properly in that case). And also variations which are not caused by chromosomes like people with all the female sex characteristics before puberty but star to develop a beard and other secondary male sex characteristics. Honesty the subject is fascinating, and a bit tricky too because you need to be careful about controversy. You should also make some research on differences in sex development and the intersex community ^^ Hope I was useful! (Again, sorry for any mistakes)
*Man wears a dress* People: "Haha! He's not a real man! Real men don't wear dresses!" *Trans woman wears a dress* Those very same people: "You'll always be a man no matter what! You can't change your gender!" Make it make sense.
I didn't know trans men could have an Adam's apple! I'm learning every day. I honestly don't know how this guy can be so positive. I'd be a mess if I had to deflect such ignorance and venom all the time.
I'm not going to repeat what other people have already said about circumstances when you can get it younger, but literally. Transphobes act as if a 5 year old is going to be given HRT as if kids are naturally going to be going through puberty at 5 years old
Transphobe: "You don´t understand basic biology." Me who is interesting in biology sonce childhood: "Neighter do most highschool teacher you derived fish!"
I have to laugh at the neither mistake just because it adds to your argument and also, yesss. Teachers in high school don’t teach us much. I’m glad someone finally said it! Also, “derived fish” is now my go to insult. Yes please
I love the chromosome arguments the most because they don’t understand how insane chromosomes can be. They’ve just said that there is so many different genders and that people can be more than one with dna mosaics.
If y’all want some positive news, in the us we just elected the first trans women in Congress, Sarah McBride, and first Non binary, Mauree Turner, and they’re also the first Muslim lawmaker. 💙💗🤍💗💙
Don't they use she/her pronouns? I could be wrong though but I think I read that somewhere. Also, in Virginia the guy who wrote the anti trans bathroom bill lost the election for state legislator to a trans woman so there's even more good news and it's made even better by the fact that she's replacing someone who is anti LGBTQ+
I keep waiting for news people to talk about mauree Turner like they have for Sarah McBride, but i still haven't seen anything. As an enby, i feel a little let down.
@Christina Williams is that really the only thing y’all can come up with? It’s tired and dusty by now, aside from being unnecessarily hateful. Go get a hobby or something. Also congratulations to Sarah McBride and Mauree Turner!
funny story: this morning i was playing among us and someone called me a tr*nny and i replied "your right. thanks for the validation" and they were so confused ahahahahahahahahahahaha
It's fun annoying people and turning it around on them when they call you slurs. Someone called me a "forgot" when I kept talking. Sweet revenge when I got impostor the next round and swiftly murdered them first.
@@starsystem2671 I usually come back at that slur with something like, "What's your point? It's hella easier to turn the tr**ny from automatic to manual than the other way around."
Their "scientific approach" is wrong in all possible places. It's more scattered than breadcrumbs on a plate. Apart from the XXY chromosomes, there are so many other chromosomal anomalies and stuff and things that make a difference, like the XX male syndrome, where all the genes that make one male are on an X chromosome. Not to mention that people are transGENDER, not transSEXUAL. Gender and sex are different things, and they don't even understand that. If you wanna fight something, at least make sure you understand how it works! Also, the grammar fails on all of those show just how dense the people who make those memes are.
EXACTLY. And people will be like “ThErE aRe OnlY tWo SeXeS” No, Kyle, there are more than two. Have you ever heard of intersex? Like, transphobic people need to EDUCATE themselves before trying to sound smart smh
@@pilarstrid620 EXACTLY, not even the sexes are two! And the fact that you were born with a particular sex does not mean that you were born with the correspinding gender or stuff. Some people need to pull theirselves together, and that sure ain't us, the educated, accepting folk~~~

Yes they did. They actually had a Similar episode where they learned to include everyone and not exclude anyone based on appearance. It started with Elmo having a parade for just little red monsters
I discovered you like 2 weeks ago and this is my first comment on one of your videos, I cannot stop watching, you are just fantastic for a number of reasons - general education around trans people and the community - hilarity and sarcasm and the great way you handle a lot of offensive stuff - calling idiots out on their SPAG.
