The camera follows him everywhere because he is their only form of entertainment. Like just say Marcus go home you are too drunk for this 😂.

I think the main reason Gunner and other people defend Marcus is because he’s not even there mentally. You can tell he’s super wasted and that he needs to stop and yea sure so are the others but they yell at him and fight instead of ignoring him as you should do if someone is blackout drunk and rambling. By yelling he feels worse so he try’s to fix things but because everyone is angry with him they yell at him to stop instead of trying to fix things. Marcus is just to drunk to really be functioning and everyone else is way to hostile towards him so he’s sympathized with. Marcus clearly didn’t steal it with intent of hurting that girl but everyone makes it out as if he does. TLDR: he’s easy to sympathize with because he has no bad intentions due to him being blackout drunk and everyone else is super hostile towards him
