Fabulous. I have developed the confidence to go bald most of the time. It has taken years but it's also very cathartic. 3 years ago I walked my daughter down the aisle at her wedding. We didn't think a wig was appropriate as everyone is so used to me being bald, they would have wondered who this random woman on the wedding pics was! I wish I had a magic wand to give younger fellow baldies the same confidence. I am proud to be badass and bald!
thats great that Trinny is helping people a woman with Alopecia. Personally as a AU sufferer I would never be bald out of the house ever. To me as the lady says having hair makes me feel normal . accepted, beautiful, and whole as a person. This lady is brave and happy to be bald, but most are not. Me included.
She looks so good in color! I think that with no hair, she can be even more colorful with her clothes. Hair has color that has to be taken into account when choosing an outfit. Without hair there is more opportunity for freedom dressing in color.

I have had alopecia for 74 years I have to say I was meant to see this tonight for a reason. I have been married 56 years and my husband has never seen me without my wig... oh I wish I had this experience..my life would be so different

Bravo Laura! Bravo Trinny for supporting Laura on her journey to find her beauty sans wig. I have had to wear a wig as a result of partial hair loss due to medical treatment. Laura is absolutely right, my main worry is about being 'de-wigged'. I am not dating at the moment as I am not comfortable with having the conversation about my hair and wearing a wig. I am so blessed that it is growing back and recently I went to a dinner party sans wig. It was so liberating!

My daughter was 15 and because of chemo her hair felt out. Now she is better and 16 but her losing het hair was tough. But she embrased it. Love this video. She is so sweet. Looks so pretty. Love the outfit!

It’s amazing to me how understanding and connected Trinny is with people who struggle with the way they look. Trinny is, at least to me, an incredibly attractive, chic and sexy woman in her 50s. She has great hair, a fabulous figure, good skin and style. You’d be forgiven to think that she has basically no experience and insight into feeling less than…and there she is, uplifting and enormously encouraging in a way that lets other women bare their fears and insecurities. I wished she could help me find my way back to how I once felt; attractive, desirable and strong.
Laura, you look fabulous. My daughter who's 13 and has alopecia ditched her hats and wigs a year ago because she felt they were ruining her outfits. My daughter looks eye catchingly stunning with her bald head and so do you. Well done Trinny.
I think there is a place for beautiful scarves draped in different styles that look so chic. And hats. Just saying, that Laura can still wear interesting head gear at times, rather than wigs to accentuate her outfit or mood. Head accessories can be cool. And she has the sass to carry off an interesting look. Clothes and head wise. All the best Laura!

Wow! That was a huge transformation; without the wig and wearing that gorgeous cobalt blue suit Laura looked so powerful and confident. I also loved the final outfit and the make-up; people will look at her for all the right reasons; I was really blown away by this transformation. You rock, Laura!
I think that this smooth baldness is really beautiful. Am always happy when I see someone with it. Simply because it's beautiful. And also because someone is owning it.

More of these please. I went thru chemo 3 years ago. I felt so ugly all the mirrors came down in my house. I refused to wear make up, jewellery and nice clothes for 4 months. Please show us how, when our identity has been ripped away from us, how we can still feel ourselves.
First , looks Fabulous and naturally beautiful anyway . As a makeup artist , I was Australia’s National markup artist in the early 70’s Then I had to have my head shaved after a really bad hair colour mess up by :::: I experienced feeling dealing with NO hair . I had won title of National M/ A not just by working on perfect pallets ( faces ) but on those with conditions they could not alter . Soo .. all my teal if 8 who were there to help me , I had done there makeup , most had butterflies or designs on there faces , ears , heads .. Alopecia Is a perfect canvas for beautiful designs to be used . That lovely space needs , occasionally to be and always included in the FACE .. Do use it for art work , not only on the face , it’s PART of it 🥰
Yes! A new season of total transformations and human / female empowerment - Trinny at her best. Laura is lovely and she shines so bright. Also the conversation in this first episode was so inspirational.
