Many things in life are overrated. Many things in life get more attention than they should. Breathing is not one of them. I like my oxygen. But oxygen isn't going to get me very far without today's topic, and I just want make sure everyone appreciates that.

I had anemia alot years ago because a small part of my intestine is gone bc of crohns disease. Getting proper intake was hard & i still cant eat lettuce & such so i had to resort to beef and spinach, beans and peas.

I’ve read that coffee can prevent full absorption of iron. I’d be interested in an in depth video on caffenine given that it’s the most consumed legal substance outside of alcohol. I feel like people praise it overwhelmingly and never look into the potential downsides, and this is coming from someone who loves coffee.

I have too much iron without supplements. It’s a genotype which messes with the iron absorption in the body called hemochromatosis. It’s uncommon but definitely worth mentioning

I began watching these videos around April of last year and around this time I was weighting in at 241 at 5’6 - 17yo. I would skip my blood tests and my cardiovascular appointments (genetic heart issues) out of fear exposing what i’ve been doing to my body. I would make BLT’s, hotdogs and other greasy foods at 12am almost every night and over time I just began to feel very tired of killing myself slowly so after school ended, I really wanted to take control of my eating habits and consumption and that’s exactly what I did. I didn’t really take these videos seriously at first, I would watch, think to myself about how I need to change and went and had a double cheeseburger. But over time I began to make changes towards my grocery list, I implemented what food went into my system, what time of the day I stopped eating and how much i was consuming and most importantly I changed my sleeping schedule! Yes its been over a year and I am not at my destined preference but I am coming in at 183.7 as of June 3 and I feel amazing. I have also helped motivate my other family members and they’re also seeing their own success as well. I now view these videos as helpful reminders of how I want my life to really be, Thank you Talon.

would absolutely love to see a nutrition tier list on various cooking methods EG frying vs baking vs boiling, steaming, air frying, microwave, blanching, sous vide, grilling, smoking, slow cooking etc etc. I know that might not be easy considering it depends a lot on the temperatures used, time cooked and what’s actually being cooked in the first place, but would be interesting to hear if there's any general trends / differences between certain cooking methods. (also phenomenal video as always, you’ve genuinely changed how I eat for the better! )

I think a commonly misunderstood area is the importance of sunlight. Possibly within a bespoke video around vitamin D and mention it and the better "bioavailability of sunlight". Or as your channel is based upon fitness maybe just a video explaining the basics around calories and calories out and losing weight.

Your poll question said that this series doesn’t get as much views, but I think it’s just as important as the Tier Lists. After all, isn’t it the foods with high amounts of the true nutrients that rank high on the tier list? 🤔

Iron supplements are no fun, they... stop things up... real fast. Avoid them if you can otherwise things can get... rocky....
