i believe that He does. However, we must eventually come to a place where we realize that it is wrong and then turn away from the sin. It eventually becomes self-destructive and is unfair to families involved. We must pray for strength to take an honest look at things and honor Him.

@Danielle G I feel your pain also. I just found out my husband cheated and was waiting to hear the details but unfortunately have not yet. We don’t even live in the same country so it’s even more difficult. Plus he’s an alcoholic and has since left the rehab facility he was at. So now I’m left with the pain, no explanation and honestly not sure if I want to keep doing this. We’ve only been married two years. Actually we got married on the 28th of April. And I don’t even know where he is. I pray that God will do a work in your husband’s heart as well as mine. I feel like far too many of us marry for the wrong reasons, creating a relationship/marriage on a shaky foundation to begin with....and we wonder why things like adultery and divorce run rampant today in society. Speaking from hard learned experience, I think a lot of Christians marry far too young (with little to no prior dating)...because it’s “the right thing to do” for reasons such as avoiding premarital sex. And sadly, we have no idea what we really want/truly value in a person because we have little to no basis for comparison in many cases. Sure, some younger Christian marriages endure the rest of time, but it’s getting more and more difficult this day & age with so many distractions. Add that to an already weak foundation and you have a recipe for destruction majority of the time.
It sounds that you might have gotten married to someone you didn't know well enough, but had sex and conceived a child with, as I did. Our pastor steered us into getting married, and I hadn't even ever had a serious relationship before; and this one wasn't either. Regret!
@@chrisl3158 in my case, i was simply far too young, naive, and inexperienced in life and love. We never had children together...actually our marriage has been largely sexless, but he was and is a good man. He has always been good to me. I've definitely made some mistakes over the years...i have been far from what a christian wife should be. And yes, in hindsight....i should have had stronger feelings before getting married...should have had more of a romantic connection, if you will. I don't know what the future holds....but i am trying to trust that God will show me the right way. I am sorry to hear about what you've been through--i agree that there is a huge problem in terms of pressure being put on young couples to get married quick...because it's the "right thing to do" in the church's/society's eyes.

So if your husband is sent to a fancy vacation destination where men n women go without their spouses and many are drinking after 'business meetings' and he says it's fine since he doesn't drink or get too friendly with women...I keep saying that he isn't putting hedges high enough because spouses 'don't go' until later in the week if they come. Having arguments about this. Help.

In my opinion, based upon his teaching, there is no need to fight your husband. If he's going to do something untrustworthy, your arguments will not help. I know you feel very uncomfortable, but take a deep breath and let him be responsible. You are not his mother. You are his wife. Be confident in yourself. If he doesn't appreciate you, then let him go find better (he won't be able to find anyone like you). You are a worthy, beautiful lady. Trust yourself. When your suspicion is raised, proof will follow. Above all, please protect yourself in the event that your husband is not able to provide the spiritual security your family requires.

Focus on bettering yourself. You can’t control him or what he’s doing. Also consider why you would even want to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with you anymore?? Self-esteem and self worth are very important and very attractive traits. Begging and pleading with him to not leave will only drive him further away.

Well I cheated on my wife and the problem I have is my wife doesn't want to forgive she wants to hold a grudge but she once told me she cheated on her ex-husband that's why they got divorced so how could she hold a grudge against me when she pretty much did the same thing in a previous marriage I don't understand why most women today have this I don't want to forgive you but you must forgive me attitude

And as the man of God said you dont get carry points day to day. Your priority has to be proving to 1st yourself and her you are not what youve done. To even bring up past doesnt excuse you or her.
