A key point regarding Shambuka Vadha is that he wanted to go to heaven with his physical body, which itself is against the Dharma of the universe. Also, there is a small point in Raja-Dharma, which says that if the person who committed an act undergoes siksha by the king/government, then they won't experience the sin of hte act in hell. Also, another point is that those who are killed by a king are granted admission to heaven. Since Rama is Vishnu himself, by killing Shambuka, he not only restored Dharma, but he also gave Shambuka what he wanted in a way that doesn't violate the Dharma of the universe.

To those who complain about Caste discrimination in Sanatan Dharm: Ramayan is all about a war against a Brahmin who crossed the line of “Dharm” in the first place! Whatever happened to your “reasoning ability”(which animals do not have), at least try to know properly WHY you hate someone!

Your Case 1 understand is totally wrong ❌ You don't understand the real meaning of Shudra and a Brahmin. Brahmin - one who has surpassed his owm identity and is on the path to realize bramha. Shudra - one who is still stuck to his own survival agenda. Now - tapas or sadhana has to be done to realize the Bramha which is you (need context if you don't get this) One who is concerned about his own survival mode (shudra) if he gets into sadhana then he doesn't bother about bramha, he is always bothered about what his little identity is benefitted out of sadhana. Now - but in kaliyuga, shudra understands that there is more than his own survival agenda hense moving towards bramha is inevitable, hence can do sadhana

In regards to the case no. 1, let me remind you first who a shudra is , a shudra is the one who has not read Vedas ( varnashram system is based on your karma and Guna not determined by birth) so it is very much obvious that the person who has not attained the knowledge of Vedas should not perform a yagya , as the very much basis of Yagya is the knowledge of Vedas , yagyas are based on the rites written in the Vedas so if a Shudra (who has no knowlege of Vedas ) would perform a Yagya would invite a whole lot of mishappenings not only for himself but also for the people who he is performing the yagya for , due to the lack of the knowledge of Vedas, which are very much the foundation a Yagya hence it was the dharma of Sri Rama to stop it.

Shambuka wants go to heaven without leaving his body. When a proud King Trisanku asked his Guru Vashista to send him to heaven in his own body, the Guru responded that the body cannot ascend to heaven. This is the reason Lord Ram killed Shambhuka.

caste doesn't even exist prior to the year 1836 until british dogs started the caste system. Kula means family in Samskrutham. Like we call ancient school system as GuruKul(GuruKulam) that means Family of Guru(teacher).

This video must be shared with everyone who believe in Ramayana and Caste system. There're so many misinterpretations about this topic and you clarified them with facts. Kudos to you. People must understand that "Jaati" and "Varna" are two different things. In fact, the English term "Caste" is not a direct translation of "Jaati". Jaati is a term used to determine species of an organism. So, if one is born as a monkey it's Jaati is Monkey and same applies to humans. Hence it is by birth, because no one can change their species. On the other hand Varna was the classification among different classes of humans based on their "karma". The deeds that people do defined their Varna as explained in the video perfectly. But later on both these terms were mixed for obvious reasons. Varna became Jaati that is by birth. But they didn't define Jaati properly instead used it as a way to classify people by birth giving advantage to upper class over lower classes. It is still the same as people are still uneducated about the exact meaning of these terms.

Chandalas were treated as an untouchable because of their job. Even today will anyone welcome a person who says that I have just cremated a dead body into their home? We don’t touch even our own relatives who have gone to cremation ground. During covid times the doctors who treated the covid persons remained aloof from the rest. But in later times people started treating the people badly due to their castes even when the person was not doing the job according to his caste…which is wrong….

The intent behind saying a sudra can perform tapas in kaliyug is not meant to be a reform or progressive mindset, it is reinforcing the idea that in kaliyug, everything will be as it should not be, and even those who should not do certain things will be doing them. You should've also mentioned the most important fact. The limitations of a brahmin according to *Shanti Parva*: A brahmin cannot drink alcohol, eat meat, sell things and take salaries from anyone. If he does that he is no longer a brahmin or the king should banish him out of his kingdom.

You are confusing and conflating the issue of caste in the Ramayana with that of the conversion of Dalits and others into Abrahamic faiths. Shiva is described as an outcast, one leaving with snakes in a cemetery and Bhrigu who represents orthodoxy curses Shiva. ALL creatures are descended from Brahma and the Rishi. That doesn't make all creatures brahmin. Ravan's brothers were Yaksha and Ravan's siblings became Rakshashas. So Ravana was not brahmin. People have been misrepresenting him as a brahmin for far too long!

No idea why you are shooting yourself in the foot by using the word "caste" when it does not exist in your texts or culture. Other words you should consider avoiding: are Temple, Idol, Worship, God, and Heaven. Stick to words in your texts and let outsiders learn about them from within your ecosystem (Maths, etc). The purity of a language is critical. Once you use words from other languages then you are handcuffed by the definitions of those words from their angle. As an example, "God" is an English-based word defined in Christianity to be a Super Human in a place called "Heaven". THAT is not the definition in Sanatana Dharma. The equivalent of the Christian "God" in Sanatana Dharma is "Ishwar" (in swarga). But Sanatan has a level above that, which is the highest. So, if you have it in you, please, henceforth, keep to Sanatani words. There is no "Caste" in Bharat. Never has been. You have now provided explicit support to a foreign idea.

I understand that there was a rule in the ancient times which barred shudras from performing tapas. If it is not discrimination, what is it? If it is discriminiation, although the rule doesnt apply to us today, it doesnt mean that the rule was correct on humanitatrian grounds. Is the rule right? Bramhana never discriminates against anyone. If you go to tantrik , yogik, or doing any rituals they don't allow you to touch them . I am a bramhin, when my father is doing puja at that time he doesn't allow anyone to touch them even me. Because before Puja their is some pranayam hasta mudra to control your magnatic field for meditation. If you touch them at that time their magnetic field will disturbed because mantra are powerful the sound of mantra created gharshana in the environment and inner side of the body . When you do 10000 chanting any mantra your body creates an electric field if you touch them you will die at that time . When mugal attack to Varanasi bramhin doing marana Shakti of Gayatri mantra and mugals soilder die at the moment . The code mentioned above of that time should not be applied today, this is a good point, however, in real life there are other codes not mentioned here that are applied today. This cherry picking of the ancient code as per convenience is today's problem.

Why does the sloka about Shambhuka mention Kali Yuga, if Ramayana is in Treta Yuga?

I am disgusted by apologists, in order to make the scriptures look like inclusive they are going to say anything. We Brahmins, Kshatriyas must understand we come from the great Aryan lineages, we are the descendants of conquerors. Not only did we defeated the barbarians but also built the great Vedic civilization, and developed arts and sciences. Shambooka (shambhUkaH) was in the Shaiva tradition and was an avarNa indeed. Shaiva is though Dharma, is avaidika in a way. An avaidika should not perform tapas in a vaidika way. But UttaraRamacharitam tells us how Rama freed ShambUka from his curse and gave him Liberation.
