@@shal9s there is no minimum threshold for TDS in the drinking water..But if TDS is more than 500ppm or mg/lit..The sample should be rejected

But still that water is demineralized ie devoid of minerals. In this video also he tells TDS level below 100 is not ideal.. And is like drinking just a thirst quenching liquid, not water as it should be.

We're switching from RO after 10 years and sure about UF as it will remove most impurities and heavy metals. The thing I'm concerned in our area is high amount of chloride and fluoride which is very bad for health specially bones and teeth. RO is life saver and makes difference of day & night. I'm going to arrange outside Pre Filter~Inline Sediment Filter~UF~Carbon~UV and then will test it against replacing RO with UF. Remind me to update and give valuable suggestions.

I work in Govt dept in water supply as Dy Exe Engineer.. What you said is absolutely true.. Municipal water is the safest drinking water in TelanganA..

I agree with you but not 100% true. Because municipal water has tds range of 300ppm but rich in alkalinity and they will use Bliching to clean storages. Better is to use SEDIMENT + CARBON + UF before drinking. So that water will be chlorine free dust free and bacteria free.

You can see the promotion of a health drink at the end of the video. Further, he only puts the shopping links of amazon, Why? He is doing the good work but he must be associated some businesses which he indirectly promotes(ex- amazon) and making money out of it other than RU-vid views

Thanks for sharing your insights. Only, the problem for the people who doesn't have own house, they are recommended to buy RO system as they keep moving places and never know the TDS count where they are moving to. You will not get the municipal water everywhere. So, people with permanent homes may follow the guidelines offered in this video but not for the people moving around everywhere. Anyways, an eye opener for everyone 👍👌

This may not be the best thing, boiled water kills bacteria but it doesn't removes harmful chemicals,imagine if there is arsenic in your water, I think boiling water then filtering it is best thing
