I think it's a sin how he focuses on race/ethnicity so much and is hateful towards and alienates other races. He ought to be treating everyone as brethren regardless of skin tone as God judges after the heart not the flesh.

If Jamal Bryant wanted a private life, he would stop putting himself in front of so many cameras for everyone to pry into his life.

The humming and hawing is what is the bigger issue. People act like Mr Bryant is so deep and profound. Just Preach The Scripture

I wish Jamal would talk to or be interviewed by someone who knows scripture and is not afraid to take him to task ! He is surrounded by “yes men or women” who laugh and nod while talking to him. I would like to see him sit down with Voddie B. Match wits with him!!

I think it’s great that pastors are now speaking truthfully about who they are and essentially exposing their own falseness. This was very much eye opening… comparing himself to a man who sexually assaulted young boys and giving him praise for having many churches…. speaks VOLUMES. I first heard of Jamal Bryant because of his "these h*es ain't loyal" sermon. The question asked by the morning show I was listening to was "should pastors be allowed to curse in their sermons?" It was a lively discussion with some people saying no, and others trying to justify Jamal's behavior. I was firmly in Camp No; I felt that was the obvious answer. What I remember is that Jamal doubled down on his statement instead of apologizing for what he said. What really baffled me were the people I knew, people who had been going to church for YEARS (some longer than I've been alive) who were quick to defend Jamal and all his shenanigans. I was told I was being a judgy hater.

Absolutely these men are immature so very sad but we are in the last days and I agree ❤✝️

I'm very surprised and disturbed what Jamal Bryant was saying, twisted the word of God to make himself feel innocent, and justified. If we confess our sins and repent, God is faithful to forgive us. If we're honest and truthful to ourself and to God, also acknowledge that we have sined. If we're living in sin, we will die in our sin. And as a Pastor, he should be a good example to the flock, that he's been placed over, as Jesus is to His Church.

Well he did say in one of his interviews that he never wanted to be a Pastor but a Politian. He said Dick Gregory told him to take the position of a Pastor.

When I hear him talk it makes me think of 1 Corinthians 3:18-20

I hear Jamal Bryant say that the church is slow to extend grace (and I think that’s a good thing… Grace for the unrepentant is as a helping hand for the one who despises that help), and I think of two passages in Scripture: a. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? (Romans 6:1-2) b. My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. (James 3:1) He should already be aware that a greater judgment is in the works for him, especially as a self-professed pastor. And anyone who has sinned before God ought to consider the weight of his sin, for grace is a reminder that one cannot pay for one’s own sins. Through that grace, one is ransomed by God, and thus fully owned by Him, owing Him obedience as his form of gratitude, and penance. 11 years means nothing in the face of eternity, so he should be wary of using such a weak argument to justify his desire to engage in the sin of adultery through remarriage if his first wife is still alive. That being said, with all the pastors stepping down lately, I believe we all ought to pray for them, that the Lord may show them His mercy, even as well all ought to pray that for ourselves and one another. We are all sinners after all, being made whole and clean in Christ.

I love listening to Bishop Noel Jones’s sermons b/c he does preach the Word, but he has had his hiccups within his ministry w/ church business and personal matters. I think the difference is if someone teaches sound doctrine, own up to their faults, and admit repentance of their sins trying to live better, Christians should and will give grace to the individual. However, they will still face consequences. For example, the thing that helped Noel Jones as a pastor after his public mishaps is his ability to teach/preach. I wouldn’t put Noel Jones and Jamal Bryant in the same category simply b/c Jamal Bryant is not a preacher of sound doctrine. His theology is completely off. Also, his arrogance, flashiness, and ungodly behavior completely overshadows his “ministry”. In fact, as he basically stated, ppl follow him b/c he defies the standard of a Christian and a pastor.

The statement “it is finished “ as spoken by Christ on the cross, wasn’t it to cleanse us from our sins past present and future? Isn’t the sinful acts we commit post the crucifixion of Christ a relational issue between God/Christ and us and when we sincerely repent, isn’t it that our relationship with Christ is restored! Now I don’t believe Jamal comes any where close to sound biblical doctrine, but I do believe a past adulterous life and being divorced does not forever separate one from being a pastor. Repentance is afforded unto all. Would love some feedback and explanations if my thought and beliefs are erred.

1. There is room for pastors who speak to a marginalized black community. Black people have unique needs be it real or imagined. Dr. Bryant encourages and he has openly blamed himself for a failed marriage. 2. Why do Christian platforms feel the need to call people out by name? I just don't see how researching someone's every word is good. If you have a problem call him up bring him on the show. Now the man has been engaged and now we have to see if he is serious about God as it will be shown in this marriage.

Not in any way saying that Jamal is qualified... however ... I disagree with your stance on Pastors not being restored for failure. I'm glad God did not feel that way about David when he committed adultery, deceit, and murder. He paid for his guilt and God restored him. God's grace is far more teaching than yours K dub. He gave His son to forgive, cover, and reconcile sin. My own personal journey has proven this. I lost a family, ministry, and standing in the community. That was almost twenty years ago. I immediately stepped down and suffered consequences. Only in the past ten years have I been allowed by God to minister. I felt I was unworthy and still do. Anything God allows me to do I am humbled by. I appreciate everything that I am allowed to do. I am interviewing for a pastorate now and am more humbled than you will ever personally understand. You speak about things with a certain piousness that is almost arrogant. I'm glad God is more graceful than you are. If God has called you, He will restore you in His time IF you are repentant and humble.
