I went to a conference on Saturday and I found myself thinking what would All things Theology think and say about this show because the word was not preached 😢 All they wanted you to do was look at your neighbor, talk to your neighbor, hold your neighbor hand and tell me… I kept hearing Get your hands off of me 😂😂

Church services in the USA, just doesn’t work for me. Too much noise and entertainment. I’m not sure what to do. I go to a church but I do not fit in because I’m not into motivational speeches, shouting, sowing a seed, trying to get rich using the Bible, worshipping the pastor, or watching movies/plays every holiday.

Leave that church you don't feel the holy spirit there that ain't a church to be at. My mom's co worker invited us to her church... me and my mom left that night with migraines 🙃 they had HUGE speakers on the walls and was YELLING AND SHOUTING blaring loud music. They had babies up in the church bawling

I had to pray for 6 months to find the right church. I found my pastor at a funeral. He was preaching holiness and righteous living. My life has changed 180 since finding my church family. I love them and the love me. We are taught extremely well - NOT PREACHED AT - but taught! We always like to say we’re on university level because you must take notes. ❤

Re: Conference Service Ours is coming up 7/30/24-8/3/24. We used have in-house speakers. Now the organization is seeking to be like the mega churches and invite well known speakers. So, on top of the registration fee, hotel reservation (for out of town visitors) there is a morning offering, mid day offering and conference night offering AND a speakers' offering. The speakers are just like Brian Carn. Many get rebuked for not attending the conference (by church administrators) because we should support the Bishop and the conference. Our Bishop is too kind and humble, he knows why cannot attend but administrators don't go with that. They're in the mind of "The Lord will make a way for you if you sacrifice; He will have someone pay that rent/light bill/car note". Pray for us, please.

Yes I agree, because then is when you can truely give from your heart cheerfully and not grudginly or looking for anything in return. 2 Corinthians 9:5-15. God knows your heart He is who we strive to please not man. Really giving your money to please man or any other way is giving in vain. 1 Timothy 5:8 says, But if any provide not for his own household and specially for those of his own, house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel (an unbeliever). They won't teach that.This scripture means exactly what it says.

It's sad, but he is using their feelings against them. Which is why we need to be of sober mind and have discernment. I was always disturbed in church when they would ask for offerings before and after service and in the different classes when we split up according to age groups. Only class that didn't ask for money was the nursery. 😢 part of my frustration was that they were asking all of these people who barely could support themselves multiple times in a row, part of it was that I felt like I was obligated to keep up with giving that much as well as support myself and my own home. Or being a kid and just not having money, I felt like I was a disappointment to God for not giving.

Mt brother I learnt the game that false preachers played several years ago and decided not to play it with any of them. When invited to a conference I only took what offering I purposed in my heart to give. I God for His wisdom in my life to share with others my motto: I refused to stand in even a 5 cent prophecy lie line and when I dined out if the meal is truly worth it, I not have a problem paying for it, but I refuse to pay $1,000, 500, for a $1.00 happy meal.😅 It's so disgusting that Pastors will allow this type of foolishness served to their congregants, but I get it Pastors are serving it to their people as well.😮

I'm really having to pray about so many photographers in church "capturing" everything... it never used to be in church during services at all... other than maybe posed pictures for specific purposes. I know marketing & social media enable others to see... but something about pictures being taken throughout a service just feels out of Order & unnecessary

Having visited a place like this after being saved and they say “there are ______ people in here who are gonna give _______”, I would stand there and be like “he ain’t talking bout me!!” 😂😂😂 But seriously, just think of this vague number of people they call out…no one knows who he is talking about because he is playing a numbers game. I believe we all maybe a little confused about the way in which God created us. Naturally when you hear “Man was created in the image and likeness” this may lead you to believe that we are like God.
