Well well well, supposed to be posting in 4 minutes (at the moment I'm sitting down to type). We just woke up about 45 minutes ago and did our Devo's etc but I did not want to miss the chance to leave you with some personal encouragement and updates. -This video almost didn't get posted this morning or today in general...But Tori and I choose to stay up till like 3am to make sure we stay on track with posting and getting content out no matter if it is perfect or not and that is something I wanted to encourage you in this morning...A lot of the questions we got could be boiled down to people wanting things to be perfect. Whether it's your first time, or you are married and feel like things are off etc... there is this massive pressure to perform and for things to go "right". I don't think that is necessarily a bad thought, however, if we do think that way we are definitely missing out. You see, inside of marriage you have the ability to be yourself. You don't need to perform. You aren't trying to earn anyone anymore.Hopefully that person loves you unconditionally and that unconditionally means that you are free to be yourself imperfections and all (don't forget that means you love them unconditionally too). When I realized that with Tori I became so "free". I knew I was already free but something unlocked in my brain and I knew she wouldn't leave me and judge me for my imperfections and the way I fall short and weight was lifted off my shoulders. I no longer needed to put on a facade in order to feel accepted and worthy of love, I was just loved as is. The same goes for our relationship with God. He is not asking for perfection, He is asking that we trust and follow him and lean on him at all times, not just when the crap hits the fan.
