NFL Draft and combine prospect Spencer Rattler is an enigma. This college football All-22 film study highlights the South Carolina Gamecock's SEC battle vs the Georgia Bulldogs. Caleb Williams cut his 5-star career short at Oklahoma, but can he still be a great pro?

If Rattler was starting for Georgia he would have been a top 3 pick.

No. If you can’t be a top 10 pick at oklohoma and the big 12 7-on-7 flag league, then you’re not being a top ten QB from the sec.

Umm no , no he NEVER WAS he has been on a tough , high scoring team in Oklahoma so no , Spencer is just another guy, I can produce film of a quarterback having a better game here or there but nowhere near a top tier QB

What’s crazy is Spencer is one of the reasons Xavier Leggete was drafted to high, the WR taken in the first which people said he shouldn’t have been. And the steal of a pick taken in the 5th. 💀

He will start some games for the saints this year. Carr is not that great and prone to injury. Spencer is a top 3 qb in this draft. He has played a ton of football around a bad cast. He is used to pressure and has knack for knowing when to run. Not fleetfooted but processes things quickly. At the very least, if he stays healthy he will play multiple years in the NFL. Easily the best deal in the late rounds. If they can protect him and not drop his passes he will supplant Carr as the starter. He is really good at the 8-45 yard throws. It will not be hard for him to learn the offense. He ran a simplified version of this in college and was asked to throw it every down. Saints did well in picking him up.

He seems to be quite polarizing. I get it, I didn't like him on the Netflix show either, and I rooted against him at first, but I've really liked listening to him in interviews and getting to know more about his journey. He plays and communicates like an intelligent quarterback who is a real craftsman. His footwork and movement in the pocket is NFL polished-especially when you compare him to guys like Maye and Penix who people didn't hesitate to call high-end prospects. Not to mention his arm talent and throwing mechanics, which again are more polished than many others in this draft-he's very accurate throwing from the pocket and on the run and consistently hits his receivers w proper leverage, which I think proves itself w the high completion percentage out of a pro-style offense and career 77-32 TD:INT ratio. The only real concerns to me are size and overall athleticism, but seeing how Bryce Young went #1 overall last year, I'm not sure why Rattler had to fall to the fifth round. What a steal for New Orleans, I really think they found a gem.

@@PowerHourNFL guys got wheels, and gets rid of the ball quick AF. Definitely needs some work but hoping he can get a 6th or 7th round selection on a halfway decent team, sit for a while and develop. Don't really see him as a starting QB, but could turn into a solid backup who sticks around for a while.
@rafaaybarraa
@rafaaybarraa Месяц назад
I've been on his side ever since I watched the N. Carolina vs S. Carolina game. I think he's better than Maye. I think he lost his quickness from when he was lighter (weight) at OK, but he'd be a steel for my Seahawks. The ball he throws is great, keeps his eyes down field, leads the WR, nice deep ball. only things he needs to work on are throwing on the roll, being more shifty in the pocket, escaping pass rush, and taking what the defense gives you. I'd so play him the second year or late in the first if my team is going down hill.

I can see potential for your analysis to get better & your channel to grow. But I don't want to comment on anyone else's stream. Having said that, one of the comments is "Your analysis is weak. He stares his receivers down, lacks creativity...he never improved from high school." Your response is fine. But I think that if you can see it, it shouldn't be missing from your videos. I don't know if you have a separate editor, but here's what the former teacher-coach- on the job trainer in me has to say. Take it or leave it, I wouldn't bother unless I saw something of value in this. We *don't need **_ANY_** mid-range plays* almost ever. Give us the highs & lows. Decision-making, some highs. Staring down receivers, low. Establish some sort of baseline. The middle stuff needs to have a context. Otherwise it's boring af. "Look at this One Play where he Did Okay" is completely unnecessary without any baseline within which he made it. Here's what I like: you're showing plays where the QB you're focusing on Did Right even if the play failed. One of my favorite videos compared whatever Young & Stroud do _in the NFL_ before lack of on-field talent or bad play-calling sank the plays. You're already doing this, showing how a defender made a good play or the play failed but Rattler made the best play out of it he could. Expand on doing that because no one else is. The best thing I can recommend to anyone trying to grow their channel is to offer something not found elsewhere. The Stroud-Young example above is one guy who releases one video a month. Another thing they did in that one video you can do is compare two prospects or players at the same position. Let me show you something that wasn't even trying to do this, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5JO1PsupF_U.html. It's a collection of college highlights of Caleb Williams & another QB. Williams is supposed to be a tier up from everyone else. So how is it possible that another QB's highlights look to be in the same tier? Well, it only is seen when shown together. See, if you do videos that show what others won't see anywhere else, that's the quickest way to grow your channel. That's my best advice & I'll check out your other vids now 😉.
@PowerHourNFL
@PowerHourNFL 8 дней назад
Thanks for your advice. I'm not really a highlight guy. I don't quite get the "mid range" criticism either.
@choosecarefully408
@choosecarefully408 8 дней назад
@@PowerHourNFL Okay, my comments are staying now. the reason you can get comments like the one I pasted is you're giving far too few examples. & the ones you're giving aren't showing us the best & worst. If you only show a few, ya gotta show a wider range. The highs & lows establish a baseline within which the mid-range throws have a context. Not the other way around.
