The REAL reason Murda Inc fell off was because the Feds ran up in their offices, and Def Jam got scared off and consequently stopped spending money on NYC radio (HOT97). Money stopped, airplay stopped. In comes Interscope and Jimmy Iovine.
I from LA and I know a little back ground myself. Your right Ja Rule and Murder Inc black balled 50 cent. The only person who went against the order was Jam Master Jay. And he was killed for backing 50. Your wrong about the hood not feeling 50. At least in LA hood cats was bumbin Em cause of the Dr Dre connection. At the time2001 (Dr. Dre album) was huge hit thanks to Em. The Marshall Mathers LP was a hard core album and the streets at this point respected Em. Em got 50 cause he was a true fan. All the artist on the west was put off by the Ja Rule diss to Aftermath. Dr Dre was pissed off. And Snoop is on record saying how he confronted Ja Rule. Once Get rich came out the record industry was never the same. Everyone knew at the time it was a new era in music history. 50 cent rap style backed by Dr Dre production seemed so original and fresh, and Ja Rule seemed out dated. It seems like over night everyone was a 50 cent fan and Ja Rule was old news.
its not gonna stop until somebody gits killed, bodied, shot, stabbed or beat da fucked up real ,real ,real bad . I mean they killed Curtis (50cents) moms Katrina on that horrible nite.....
Blood in my eye was a great album... Hard but it was too late by then. Clap back was a banger,a club banger. Remember the Feds also wiped the Inc out even though Irv and his brother beat the case.
@Loyal Philly fan no Wanksta came out after he was signed...simple do your research..Eminem put it as a soundtrack to 8 Mile..then fifty decided to add it to Get Rich or Die Tryin as Bonus
He said him and Eminem will always be brothers. Even if they were born in a different era. They are extremely similar which is why the work so well together. Listen to 50 cent's Guess who's back mixtape, Power of the Dollar album, and his 1997 demo tape on youtube. Also the song called Da heatwave . the 4 mintues version. Listen to emimens pre 2000's work, you will see the similarities right away even though they had not met yet.
This is a summary for anyone who doesn't have the time to watch the entire video. Basically 50 and Eminem (And like 25 other artists, literally) kept talking greasy on records, Murder Inc eventually got frustrated and wanted to take shit to the streets (There's a reason why they were called "MURDER INC", people). Jimmy Iovine was worried that Murder Inc would harm 50 and Eminem so he got the FBI and IRS on Murder Inc. Once Murder Inc was under Federal Indictment they couldn't respond to the onslaught of diss tracks, or even make any music in general. They were pretty much handcuffed at that point. Meanwhile, the hood didn't know what was going on with Murder Inc and the FBI. 50 and Co. played it off as if Murder Inc was scared of them and that's why they weren't responding. Basically 50 Cent pulled the biggest hoodwinking in Hip-Hop history.
+Truegenius23 bruh, If you set up a channel that condensed Karceno's 40 min vids into 5 min synopses, I would subscribe. Then you can eventually do the truth behind the beef between Truegenius23 and Karceno and expalin that dude was delivering 7 mins of info in 45 min videos, checking his cell notifications and shit and basically, niggaz got tired of that shit.
one problem with this. you gotta give kay slay his credit. kay was the only dude playing 50. kay put 50 back on before the em deal. thats how em heard of him.
crazy how all these beefs, esp the good ones, all link back to the same "bloodlines" and same rooting. Interscope and Jimmy Iovine. Dre was probably like this shit heavy, but this aint nothing like what ive been thru.
The beef started from 50 cents friend who robbed ja rules chain and 50 claimed he traded the chain for a new watch and this was 1999 and when 50 cent dropped Ghetto Qur'an the feds used the song aganist Preme and the Supreme team which is why ppl call 50 a snitch to this day and u know there was the fight between them in 2000 in Atlanta and both claim to beat each other up who knows and 50 was disrespeckin Preme and Preme who was cool with Irv Gotti and Ja because Preme and Irv go way back and Preme funded Murder Inc Records and 50 was dissin Preme/Ja/Irv, Preme called the hit on 50 in 2000 which he got shot 9 times or 5 sources differ and when 50 got signed to Interscope/Aftermath/Shady Ja took offense and dissed All of them and street wise 50 was not safe the streets had 50 shook but since Jimmy Iovine was a really powerful figure in the industry he got the FBI/IRS on Murder Inc because he feared for their lives so he got the FBI/IRS they could no longer release any music and they lost funding from Def Jam/Universal so that's when it all came down 50 and Em took advantage of the situation and started shittin on em
JA WAS COOL WIT THE GUY WHO ROBBED HIM, THE GUY WAS IN JAIN AND THOUGHT JA WAS HAVING SEX WIT HIS GIRL BECAUSE A RUMOR FLOATED AROUND SAYING THAT THE CHICK JA HAD EX WIT HAD THE SAME NAME AS THE CHICK WHO WAS WIT THE GUY, BUT JA AND HIM STILL TALK AND THINGS ARE ALL GOOD. 50 KNEW THE GUY, BUT CHANGED THE FUCKIN STORY UP LIKE A PUSSY BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE JA. HE TRIED TO DIRTY P JA'S NAME. 50 A PUSSY
Ja claimed that 50 had nothing to do with the chain being stolen ... He said that 50 used that story against him in his disses and interviews ... Also they fought in Atlanta in 1999 , not 2000 ... 2000 was the Hit Factory stabbing incident
I hate these 50 Cent fans. How can you condemn Ja Rule for rapping hard then rapping soft on R&B records when 50 Cent ended up doing the same thing later after Ja Rule took a hiatus from making music?? Don't on one hand say it's wrong to rap hard then rap soft and on the other hand it's okay for another rapper to do the exact same thing. Two wrongs do not make a right you guys.
North Trenton New Jersey but the thing is somtimes you gotta switch up your style and besides back in 2002 ja rule won awards for that soft mello r&b sound alot of folks was banging.
North Trenton New Jersey ja rule was actually hitting high notes like he's an actual singer and sing through out the song 50 just harmonizes second when 50 started doing it...it became acceptable because the game became more commercialized
@@odswoo1762 no they didn’t and what could they use that they didn’t already know fif made the song in 2000 the shit he was talking about happened in the 80s early 90s feds knew everything already plus the ogs fucked with the song besides tata
When I heard Pras... I knew this dude is telling the truth.. not too many people know Pras instigated the studio situation.. because they wasnt going to roll on 50 but Pras hyped them up to do it.. Karceno4Life is certified real...
W G if u watch og bimmy of supreme team video on RU-vid he told it was pras that's how karceno Kno cuz he stay on RU-vid all the time watching hip hop videos just like everybody else he has no insider friends or info
To me, and I'm sure to many others as well, New York Hip-Hop, and all major figures associated with it, was the most influential, memorable, INTERESTING, and innovative addition to the genre as a whole, and not just because it's where Hip-Hop originated. It is classic, and by far my favorite, everyone from the big stars to the underground dudes like Immortal Technique and all the little beefs in between. it all fascinated me growing up, I was an obsessed fanatic. If i had one wish, it wouldn't be for world peace, it wouldn't be to stop world hunger, and it wouldn't be to become rich. It would be for New York Hip-Hop to carry on as it use to, and remain on top, if not, as dominant as it once was, with new cats with just as much charisma, talent and passion. Shout out Joey BadA$$....... Then again..... a trillion dollars does sound like a good wish.
Scrap Iron Pitbulls for starters in the first few minutes he says Chris Gotta was a gangster and came up with Supreme which us false Chris and Irv didn't meet Supreme til after he came home in 94 when they were filming a video in a Supreme hood none of them came up around Preme not even 50 he also said 50 manager was Slim Dunkin LMAO the dude that allegedly shot did get killed but had nothing to with 50 Ja or Supreme also the Blackie I known 50 to be associated with was Black Just not his mother. I'm from NY and most of these stories he tell about NY situations sound like he pieced together shit he's read or heard but they ain't the real deal some known facts but nothing really behind the scenes
One laughable and critical error on Ja Rule's part was to come out not only against 50 Cent, but also Eminem and Dre suggesting in one interview "If you're gonna be authorizing 50 Cent to spew records on me, then I wanna do what I gotta do to take your company under. And that goes for Dre, Em or whoever." Not only was Ja Rule in any position commercially to inflict such damage while 50, and certainly Eminem and Dre were, but Murder Inc. also having past the peak of its 15 minutes of fame wasn't in a position to reinforce Ja Rule's attempts in any credible fashion.
Very dope! That's the most detailed unbiased story I've heard on this topic. I'd like to know about 50 vs Jimmy Iovine and the real reason he left interscope
Well Murder INC, may have took a L, but Chris Gotti is still rolling, not in the music business as much, but he has one of the largest insurance companies in the world.
Jadakiss and the lox are a one trick pony no matter what they rap about it spunds the same over and over and same flow over and over so they wack to me 7 out of 10 rappers
This video is kind of bias again. The Em and Dre involvement definitely...Em stayed out of it initially because of Dre because everyone knows Suge and the Gottis and Preme had a relationship and had just as much to gain in taking down aftermath shady and g unit. That Toy Soldiers song reference kinda shows that dude knows a lot but not as much as he fronts that he do. Song was made way after things got to a point where yea it was probably best to do something different than have folks getting hemmed up over some street stuff on wax. And saying Slim Dunkin cannot be overlooked especially when the Slim you were speaking about was already hemmed up.
karceno know all the info from all the beefs from coast to coast, and border to border. dang. dont get in no trouble if and when karceno is around, he snitching. lol and will make a clip about it to put on youtube for one of our adult bedtime stories. hahaha. i heard someone else say that in another comment and i kee kee'd so much that i figured i needed to hijack that one. hahahaha. keep up the bang up work karceno.
I think what you should have said was 50 and G unit Shady Aftermath records verses Ja Rule and Muder INC records. but I think 50s side won due to having Em on his side. Also Em was being taken seriously even before he signed 50 or even before he was signed to Dre. And the tough guy act Em had was already when he first came out and became a mainstream hit which was years before he signed 50 and Em being signed to Dre and having the rest of the members of D 12 on his side where street cred enough anyways.
So once the Jews got involved that's when Eminem started going hard.people always gave Em too much credit in this battle. when it got street he couldn't handle it. I'm glad he exposed him. he was the real cash cow in this that's why they protected him had everyone thinking 50 was the one who murder inc raided. When it was interscope
He would've made it, but let's be honest.. NOT on the same level. Plus I'm sure he'd be signed to some ghetto off-brand record "Label", probably beef with the label after his album flopped, then disappear into nothingness.
@karceno4life I just had to say everything you linked together is quite accurate which is why I'm non skeptic when it comes to your vids. idk where or how you get your info lol…. but you just earned a new subscriber
ok.....i expected to see some clown talking trash about something he knows nothing about but you dead on point with the whole back story. much respect.
40 cal Oh, they do, they got the police reports and photo copy proof, seriously, if that happen don't you think murder inc would have retaliated back? Ja is out of jail, and doesn't peep a word about Eminem snitching on him.
i c 50th had a hard time trying to get in the game the first album describes it best cause he almost did. Now hes very successfull music or movie deals.
the JMJ murder make sense now. the hood bumped more of that eminem invasion mixtape style. when he collab'd on those beats he made for gunit. at least sounded like the kinda stuff em might make
The chronology in this is all wrong. The video against Eminem and his daughter from Benzino and the songs against Hailey came well before Toy Soldiers. TS was released in 2004, and Hailey's Revenge was released in 2003.
When you going to do the history of Jimmy Henchman? I'm talking about from the early 90's robbing and extorting artist and execs up until he got locked up for drug trafficking a couple years ago.
50 and Supreme were from the same hood, 50 even did work for the team. He didn't like that Preme wouldn't fuck with him but would fuck with Irv & Ja who wasn't even from Jamaica Queens. 50 did an interview talking about how him and Preme should be practically family. That's what "started" it, jealousy or envy whatever you think cause 50 won't ever admit it.
For the most part Karceno gets his information from people who witnessed the events or was a part of it as gossip. He's 100% accurate with this story and must've been on the scene when Ja Rule didn't give 50 Cent the proper recognition he was looking for. Troy robbed Ja Rule for his chain and $1,200 with a fully loaded 12 Gauge. Fifty had nothing to do with it although Troy did it to get brownie points with 50 Cent. Fifty didn't take the chain himself at all but tries to take the credit for doing it. Even in the Atlanta incident both of their chains popped off or got snatched in the scuffle. Ja Rule wanted to confront 50 Cent and he did. Fifty swung on Ja while he had bat in hand rift rafting back and forth and got beat down by the bat Ja Rule was holding. Black Child addressed 50 Cent in public by himself and dropped him. Ja Rule even flipped Fifty shirt over his head and beat him with a crutch. Ja Rule can actually fight and isn't scary. During that time 50 Cent had mediocre fight skills anyone who had a good set or could fight was capable of whooping his ass. Black Child and Ja Rule did it despite Fifty being 6'1 and 235 lbs. with muscles. Preme and Cadillac Tah sent a verbal message to 50 Cent and he didn't want the problems. Nowadays if ya not on his boxing level he'll bang ya up for real. Fifty has finally learned how to be a fighting beast. They got into it again at the Hit Studio 50 Cent went to reaching for his gun because the lights went out in the scuffle and Black Child stabbed him. In order for a police report and restraining order to be made somebody had to say Black Child stabbed 50 Cent and a few people whether it was Fifty or someone else who was on his side. Fifty didn't even get shot 9 times either only 3 times and a graze wound to the cheek his police and medical report says the same things. He was a nickel and dime dope boy who was associated with NYC Crips. Fifty is a gimmick rapper who puts on the tough guy/thug image like an actor does. His real name is Curtis Jackson he got shot over a drug deal gone bad or a debt being owed to the Dreads/Haitians of Queens NY. You never want to be on their bad side at all because they clapping ya up asap. Ja Rule ain't no Thug either just a stand up guy and average Joe who raps plus has more money than the average person. 50 Cent is the better gangster rapper though. Ja Rule is the better ladies rapper which is his real avenue and lane in rap. Ja Rule isn't a diss rapper he's mainstream, commercial, hip hop, and urban/pop rapper. Fifty is a Hippocrate and is jealous that he can't make chick rap songs good as Ja Rule. Ja Rule tried to diss but it was weak though not his style. Fifty became a buddy hustler by mentioning Ja Rule name over and over again until he tried to chant back which was a mistake on his behalf. He should've never fed into 50 Cent bs but he had to defend himself at some point and time which is understandable.
@@turtleanton6539 Like I said he gets his information from people who was on the scene of the incident. That's the only way he could've gotten all of the full details on a particular situation. Research online don't cover nor or give full details the way he's giving it ok. Karceno is a high level informant that's an FBI agent anyways. That's his job like the female rapper Jacki-O. Pretend to be a music artist or journalist inorder to get close to the suspect or person that they want to arrest or get information on to build up a case.
Preme just added onto the situation to make it seem like it was all entirely based on a hit but it wasn't though at all. 50 Cent had 2 sets of people coming at him wanting him to be dead at the same time over different reasons. So they worked together on 50 Cent and caught up with him and let him and the other guy with him have it. So whoever the shooter was is a pro. Because they only let off 9 or 10 shots and hit 2 people running and or driving in motion trying to escape.
@Bryan francis Preme and The Jamaicans he owed got together and tried to have him did in. Preme was on the scene as it happened though and threw in his extra 2 cent and plus more. The guy who actually shot 50 Cent and the other guy with him is dead he went by the street name Homicide.
you forgot to mention that 50 was with the dude who took ja chain at the murder for life shoot, ja snubbed him, who knows, but then 50 cent said that he went back to get his gat he was gonah get at ja, he wanted to know what that shit was about. but when he came back preme stopped him saying yo thats my food 50 i see you dont do nothing.
