Warren G was smart for not signing to Death Row. Sometimes I wish Nate Dogg would of did the same, even though his debut album Ghetto Preacher is an underrated CLASSIC
Huh 1990 ??? I don't even remember G Funk during the early nineties ??? Maybe as early as 1992 at the most, and that sound lasted well into the early 2000's
@@lamanulyung4580 no shit Sherlock, it’s a certain type of sound they have in the production. I’m very aware of the G-Funk sound. I been on this earth 41 years bro 🤦🏾♂️
It’s crazy you said this, I just discovered the dove shack (I was born in that same year , I does my homework) and this video answered all the questions I had
Finally this video being made 💯🔥 I knew it I called it myself I thank ceno for putting this out let’s go and plus Warren G was credited on “The Chronic” album like wow I knew he wasn’t death row but if it wasn’t for him snoop dogg wouldn’t have a name
I remember being at Can Am studios standing next to warren g when Suge and like 5 of his homeboys walk in the room and walked through the room and then walked out. Right after they walked out warren gs phone rang and he answered it and I can tell that it was Suge because warren g was saying they he wasn’t going outside and fight with all those dudes with him
I dont take warren for a liar, so i just take it for granted that the reasons are the ones hes given a thousand times. -He told Snoop not to sign any contracts without a lawyer. Suge got mad, said he aint signing warren. Dre, for whatever reasons, didnt put up a fuss. -He blew up anyway with Def Jam, and his hit single was with a Deathrow artist, Nate Dogg. That's money that could've been Suge's. Furthermore, Snoop and Kurupt helped Warren write his songs on that album...in secret, but Suge knew at some point. -After Dre left, Warren was still hangin around DeathRow. Thats when his chain got snatched. Guilt by association because Dre was his step brother. I'll see if Ceno says something different, but this from Warren's own mouth.
Miss the old Truth Behind videos. I prefer these style of videos pre recorded over your live videos. The live videos go too long too many moments with silence and too much going off topic and loses track easily of the main theme of the video. These I like not as long and stays more to the point. Wish you would go back and do more of these videos, album vs album and album reviews. At the end of the day is your channel so you can do what you want. However, I still miss old way you did videos when you were constantly pumping out the Truth Behind videos in 2015-2016.
@@jerry85g7 I want to say since 2021 he really hasn’t done too many reviews on albums anymore. The only albums I seen Karceno review in 2022 and 2023 were Drake and Nas albums. I think he may have reviewed Game’s album in 2022 but that’s about it. When it comes to album vs album he did I think one in the past two years which was Paid In Full vs Bad. I think he said he doesn’t do them as much now because of Versuz and I think something to do with the RU-vid guidelines. Still I enjoyed those videos. Even the Truth Behind and historical hip hop type videos are not posted often on this channel anymore. Most of the stuff now is current events, which there is nothing wrong with that, but I enjoyed the videos he did back in the hey day.
@@BL77357 there is still plenty of hip hop stories he can tell such as this one here. I am just saying compared to how he does the videos now I prefer this style over the live videos this is more direct and straight to the point. Even if he is doing current events I prefer these type of videos
@@Motle009 I'm sorry bro I should have been more specific, I agree with you he needs to go back to the old beef videos or "the truth about videos".. I was responding to you saying he needs to do more reviews on newer albums. He probably doesn't do reviews because 90% of music sucks nowadays. Hip hop and R &B started dying around 2010 and here we are. This is not up for debate.
I was there at his wifes moms house when he debuted the mastered version of his second album shit was crazy. We made warren pkay annie mae 20 damn times lmao
Warren G's many interviews mostly, like word for word. Also, The Show documentary for that Slick Rick comment. Suge's recent podcast for his comments from Suge. Someone should put all the references on these videos.
Can’t blame Suge if your own brother don’t sign you to a label that you co own and I put the blame on Dre cause of Dre’s mother and most men know what I’m talking about when a man makes another child with another they will tell their child that ain’t your sibling and if you play or do anything nice with your fathers other child you can’t talk to me
He did have more money than Snoop at that time. Snoop was most likely in the red, because Suge was holding all of them niqqas earnings, and paying them monthly, while at the same time, holding Snoop's acquittal in that murder case over his head.
Snoop caught a murder case before his album even dropped while Dre and Jimmy basically left Snoop to defend for himself even though Dre was co owner of Deathrow and Suge the one who stepped up but Suge gets a bad rap
@@ScreenFiend that’s crazy you mentioned my hometown and my dad hometown in the same video I’m from Ocala my dads from Pasadena. But you the truth bruh I ain’t never heard a lie come out your mouth
