This is the first time I've ever seen a full interrogation take place in a police station hallway.

It amazes me how neighbors can be. If I heard someone yelling about being stabbed, I'm going to call the police. It may have saved that boy. So sad.

Why I would be fired as a 911 operator: "Shut the fuck up. Everyone knows you killed him. The police are on their way."

If anyone continuously repeats the words “I just came back” they’re 100% guilty.

It’s so bizarre to watch people try to imitate how real human beings react to tragedy. It’s so embarrassing because they think they’re fooling everyone; but anyone with the slightest ability to discern can tell it’s totally fake.

This is almost as bad as the "hyperventilating" woman who killed her husband.... almost!

I knew both of these men. Ryan Nixon was an abused battered man. This was such a devastating loss. Ryan Lamb is a raging narcissistic manipulative monster.

I figured he was guilty as soon as I heard the 911 tape where he calls the stab wounds, “poke wounds” and that “just got home.” If you _really_ came home to find your spouse bleeding profusely from unknown wounds, you wouldn’t refer to the wounds in such a euphemistic manner. 🤷‍♂️

Myeahhh it’s getting easier to spot red flags. An innocent person gets right to the point as much as possible when they need 911 assistance. They don’t take the circuitous route past everything BUT getting help. Alex Murdaugh was a good example of this too! I had to give CPR to my precious daughter. I don’t recall word for word what I said, but I put the phone on speaker and the moment they answered I said my 17 year old daughter is unresponsive. I’m about to start compressions. Then let [911] ask me questions while I worked like hell to keep up with compressions. I’d count them off. I’d forget to breathe. I’d reposition and try again. But I was far too busy to talk about where I was earlier or how I found her even. Believe me it was like fighting to get a breath out myself. Air was being sucked from the room and the house and my life. By the time the cops got there, I was winded like I’d been sprinting. I was losing my mind, sure enough. But I was laser focused and of one purpose: bringing her back. That was my experience anyway. I’m not saying everyone responds the same. But I think you all know what I’m getting at with some of these actors. Thank you for listening 💜☮️

When he says, "He's not revivable" he had already confessed to the murder. You find a loved one like that you never say that because you want them to live.

This guy is the worst actor that I’ve ever seen. A lot of faces and no tears. I can’t even imagine how horrible his partner felt seeing the person that he trusted the most in the whole world’s face as he murdered him.

How the detective listened to his entire rambling melodramatic performance without busting out laughing once is beyond me.

He seems drunk and on top of that his acting is terrible.

I tried to watch this interrogation before on another channel & I couldn’t understand a word the suspect was saying. Thank you for the captions as well as your soothing yet informative narrative. It makes a world of difference when a subscriber is already having a difficult time following a very intoxicated speaker. Well done.

How to immediately confess without confessing

I was super confused with him being so drunk and just getting home from work. Unless he is a bartender, I doubt he was drunk at work.

He really starts to crack right around the 42:00 minute mark, once he finally starts to realize just how ridiculous he looks trying to continue this narrative that the Kalispell police so masterfully picked apart. It's almost as if every member of law enforcement here knew how to play their part. Each was so patient with Lamb, pushing back when they felt the timing was right, but also never putting him in a corner which I feel was nothing short of a stroke of genius. They knew he did it, and they knew they had plenty of evidence to convict, but they still wanted to here his personal confession. Kudo's to Beyond Evil, I hope they get well over 1 million views on this one.

Ryan “crying” w/o tears. Also Im confused. On the 911 call he said “my boyfriend” and when going to police car he is calling him his “husband.” What a drama Queen.

As soon as I heard the 911 call it was apparent he was lying and all that commotion was so annoying, dry crying and such a dramatic way he was pretending to be upset.

That was the best, most clarifying example of an officer reading someone their miranda rights. Everyone should receive that detailed of a reading with the pre speech as well.

How do people not know in this day and age, you do not say a word to the police, you use your right for a lawyer and keep silent until the lawyer turns up?

All this hysterical acting just to end up telling on yourself. Just egregious.

I was born and raised in Kalispell. I probably went to school with Ryan and didn't even realize it. We are the exact same age. I used to stay in that apartment complex (Gateway Village) with my cousin. It was HUD housing. The fact that he ran to a gas station that is half a mile away instead of knocking on the neighbors doors is strange.

He was probably instantly detained because of the history of police responses to their volatile relationship

The stab wound that went from Nixon's abdomen all the way up to his sternum is what made me decide that this was actually a murder. The amount of force it would take to accomplish that kind of an injury with only a small pair of scissors is beyond just an accident.

10 years is an insult to Nixon' and his family. They were clearly fighting with that much blood and acrimony. And why on earth did the DA go with deliberate homicide with the first trial?? That's so hard to prove with a case like this. They gave the jury no where to go with that and prolonged the suffering of the family.

I love your videos. A small thing I noticed is that sometimes the subtitles indicated it was the officer talking when it was really Ryan or vice versa. Could be confusing for people who rely on them.

Its VERY obvious why they arrested him at the scene. Nobody is questioning why

Where I live this kid on his first day at work at this gas station got robbed and killed. 16 years old. His mom said he was so excited about the job so he would be able to help pay the bills knowing she was a single mom with 4 kids. The guy who killed him came back to the scene and someone pointed him out. So sad for that family

I've come to realize that only the guilty make 911 calls that their screaming and can't make out what they're saying. It's giving the police bull sh*t meter to know their looking at the killer.

Man, I love how much this police station looks like a police station. That place hasn't been remodeled or even cleaned since it was built, probably in the 70s.

There's a common behaviour when these killers call 911. They always make sure to point out that the victim is dead and there's no way they will try resuscitation techniques. The other is that they always pretend to be in a panic and not answering questions. They don't give details because when they make up a story they can say something that doesn't match with the crime scene, I guess.

When he was told his “Husband “ was Deceased… He really put on a show because he already knew he was dead when he called the cops in the first place. He didn’t care about that man because if he did he wouldn’t of left the house after stabbing him to establish a alibi leaving him there to bleed to death .

I can’t believe his BAC was so high even hours later when they tested him again. I think that was a huge factor in this terrible situation and likely their relationship. I read a lot of people saying they think he murdered him intentionally. I don’t know if I believe that but he did in fact kill him. I don’t think it was self defense. I think he was soooooo drunk and things got taken way to far. If we didn’t know about the statements made by both of them from the neighbor and the fork marks, I would have a different opinion. I believe that’s what held the jury up as well. I was also shocked that when he finally did sober up he remembered as much as he did…he trusted those cops so much. All of my opinions are solely based on only watching this video and if I were to watch the trial, I could potentially see thing’s totally different. At the end of it all he still is responsible and 10 years is a very short sentence. I’d like to see what he does in those 10 years. Rip Nixon 😢❤️

These police seemed so kind, like the type you would want to show up when you need help.

The most common comment is 'never speak without a lawer'. But a far more important rule is NEVER say anything to anyone when your intoxicated.

That's a pretty good detective. Hewas nice and gentle the entire time and I think it help break him down, psychologically speaking.

What kind of interrogation is this? Right in the middle of the police station? The suspect walking about like he's strolling in the park? Questions by a police officer that stops to answer the phone and then the other officer jumping in out of nowhere? Leaving him alone in the station to get the phone for him? Never seen this before. And it's a murder case! WTH 😵‍💫🤯

A mistrial, _are you kidding me?_ Then a plea deal for only TEN YEARS in prison! And even THAT, Ryan tried to argue against. This is ridiculous.

If they try to tell a story to dispatch it’s suspicious & they are likely attempting to get their version of events out. Most people only want help sent right away & have no interest in telling “a story” or “pleading their innocence”. Also an innocent person, even if extremely upset & traumatized, will attempt to remain as coherent as possible so the dispatch personnel can help them as best as possible. This dramatic screaming & pleading for his boyfriend is over the top.

I was always taught a drunk man speaks a sober mans mind. This one is a difficult case to pass judgment on. With the neighbor hearing statements made,it sure doesn't seem like the deceased was as well known to his family as they would like to think. May he rest in peace.

I know it sounds trivial but the minute Lamb said he had to grab his shirt to put on before he left to go get help, I’m like why would you care to put on a shirt first in an emergency unless you were trying to hide something!?

The hubris of these people who genuinely believe they can deceive the investigators and avoid suspicion is unfathomable!! Detectives and investigators have experienced the profound impact of the loss of a loved one by sudden violence continuously in their careers. The raw emotion of the victim’s family upon discovering the death is not something easily mimicked. Genuine grief is felt by anyone present in a visceral sense that is a part of the human experience and that isn’t something that an individual that’s never been through can just perform convincingly without exposing themselves as being deceptive. They sure do try though, but they don’t have the skills to put on an Oscar worthy performance that will be reasonably received by authorities… It’s usually uncomfortable to witness. So much so that it’s downright painful and cringeworthy to the point that they are immediately suspect number one. SMH.

No way I would've talked to these bozos, would-be detectives, even if I were falling down drunk. This is ridiculous. They're not even in a proper interrogation room!

What a bazaar case. Very unusual behaviors were involved. Having seen the fork marks, it's clear that there was no actual intent to endanger Lamb's life. But the force Lamb used with the scissors was on a different level altogether. In my opinion, Lamb should have received a sentence of between 20 and 25yrs. Definitely not less than 18yrs. He got off very lightly indeed.

Do you notice how he’s way more focused on repeating that he wasn’t there, that he just got there, than he is with finding the killer? The Behavior Panel taught me that this could be a sign of deception and/or guilt.
