I’ve told them to call the Game Warden for the same thing. I had a security guard call a city cop and he said I had to leave. I explained they don’t own the water but he wouldn’t listen and I didn’t want him to hassle me when I left in my truck later. Ramps next to the marina. Game Warden said the cop was wrong and I can fish anywhere on the lake except inside the buoys around the overflow tower on the dam.

I know in most states it’s illegal to harass a fisherman or hunter.

Several years ago, while was employed with my local Sheriff's Office, same thing happened to me, Imagine the look on the dock owner face, when the deputy showed up and introduced me as his Supervisor, LMAO , Mr. Loudmouth never bothered me again !!!!

What a freaking jerk. I would’ve told him to go ahead and call the sheriff.

They usually only have front hooks right I don't use them. Do they have back hooks. My one hook stuff I tend to miss more fish on the hook up.

I've had my share of homeowner encounters. One guy threatened to call the cops so I told him to go ahead. 15 minutes later the cops show up and talk to me and then talk to the homeowner and pretty much I'm sure they told the homeowner you can't harass a fisherman. Homeowner never came out to yell at me ever again. Luckily.
