Great video, in your video you said you were putting together kits for the Anderson Plug, Do you supply the red Anderson Plug with the cabling and the connections for Electronic Stability Control. I am wanting to have a seperate system on my F150 for the caravan?
I know its about 4 years since this video, but did you ever do a how to assemble vid?? There are two "locking tabs(plastic thingies) that I cant find a use for.
I had the same issue with those 2 bits of plastic they are locking tabs that you fit to the other Anderson plug to lock it into the cover if you don't have a cover mounted to both ends.
Hi is there any device for connecting two different size Anderson plugs ? My golf buggy had Sb120s while my battery charger has SB50 Anderson’s. There are two (red and black) cables in one Sb120s which too large a diameter to go into SB50s I have spare.
Hi Brian. While these kind of converters do exist we do not stock them. You would need to be extremely careful when using such a converter as the SB120 can take a current of 120amps and the SB50 has a maximum of 50 amps.
Great connector but as usual you guys do not have a USA distributor and no one wants to wait 4 weeks for it to arrive from AU so we have to go with another style of connector. How hard is it to get a dealer in the USA to sell them on Amazon for you with 3 day shipping?
Hi Dreadlk, We are working very hard to make our products available in the U.S. We have a limited range available at kickassproducts.com/ We are trying to expand this range as quickly as possible but the global events of the couple of years have made this difficult.
G'day, sorry we are not selling single Anderson style connecters separately as of yet,we have just started using that style connecter on our new compact 6oo so ill put them on our list of things to consider Thanks for watching the video Cheers Craig
Could you do a video on which Anderson connectors to use for which application? IE: After watching a video where winching can draw as much as 500+amps under a heavy load, how do you know which Anderson plug connector to use? An SB350 connector for winching vs a SB50 connector for a fridge or a SB175 connector for powering a trailer, or an SB120 for jumping a car, etc.? How do you know which Amp rated Anderson connector to use for each application? I understand the wire thickness issue but the different rated connectors is what is throwing me off. Thanks for taking the time to show this.

Can I put a normal Grey Anderson plug into the red cover? What I want to do is put a red cover under the rear bumper of my 4wd which would be connected to my AGM battery inside my 4WD, I thought this would be a lot easier and faster to connect the solar panels to the battery rather than opening the back of the 4wd every time I want to charge the battery is this possible.
Hi Uteopia, that is definitely possible. The grey anderson plugs will fit into the red covers, please keep in mind though that grey anderson plugs will only plug into another grey OR black anderson plug, no other colour will work.
