That Indiana vs Kentucky game will forever remain in my head as the best buzzer beater I witnessed on television. "Watford for the win" is a quote I'll always remember. That Illinois game we don't talk about...
@@dwaynec35 That shot literally brought IU back from the depths of hell after Kelvin Sampson screwed us over. You guys obviously were the best team that year and deserved to win it for sure. And to say we got smacked isn’t true considering the fact that we lost that game by 12 and you guys were only up by 3 at half lmao.
To anyone interested- that Louisville Syracuse game was one of the most euphoric atmospheres in sports history. For context, Louisville was at the end of a very disappointing season with no hope of making the tournament. That being said, this was not only the last game of their season, it was the last game in their historic home stadium, Freedom Hall. Having the #1 team come in for senior night sucks, but to have them invited in to soil the final memory of your beloved gym is unthinkable. Kyle Kouric, who was still an unknown, even to a lot of Louisville fans at the time, became an all time Cardinal legend that night, going off for 3 after 3 and some insane dunks that made the last game in freedom hall perhaps the greatest imaginable
My favorite College Basketball crowd reactions in this video! 0:02 Kris Jenkins' Buzzer Beater to win the 2016 National Championship for Villanova 1:59 Illinois upsets #1 Indiana 2:22 Kyle Kuric's Dunk in the Final Louisville Cardinal game at Freedom Hall 7:08 Sean Dockery's Buzzer-Beater vs Virginia Tech 7:57 Nick Robinson's Half-Court Buzzer-Beater 29:18 Edgar Sosa's Game-Winner for Louisville vs. Kentucky 34:48 Christian Watford's Buzzer-Beater for Indiana to pull up the upset to #1 Kentucky
That last regular season meeting between KU and Mizzou in Allen Field House that we won in double OT was special. Watching it with all my friends, it was a great night! Miss watching that rivalry in the Big 12
At least we get it once a year now. I’m a senior at KU and watching the first meeting since that game last year in AFH was the best experience I’ve ever had there. So loud your ears are ringing the whole game even when we’re up by 40 and know the games over.
@@DJS05 Kentucky's trophies are filled with your tears. We can lend you a banner to wipe the tears from your face, if it makes you feel better. But it won't.
I was at a home temple game against the best team in the league. I watched the highlights to see if i got on tv, When I watched it the crowd sounding like nothing, when your their irl its absolutely ear bleeding loud ❤
The 1 I remember the most is the U of A - Stanford game. Salim Stoudamire w/ the chance to win it for the Cats but had it stolen away & then Nick Robinson hits the prayer. Ball game. The students go nuts on the floor & nearly smother Tiger Woods in the process. And then after re-watching this I realize you have a Penn-Temple game I may have seen live on my b-day 2 mos after my mom died from breast cancer. I needed that distraction badly in my life @ that time.
@@caydenhunter2346 Also you can have an incredible environment without reaching high decibels. Allen Fieldhouse is louder than Cameron Indoor, yet Cameron Indoor has arguably a more intimidating environment. Shouldn't be too hard for you to understand.
1:39 Phil Forte was lethal from the charity stripe. When he missed that shot and Naz made the 3, it was absolutely unbelieveable. Then Marcus Smart fouled out (one of the most hated floppers ever) and that place went nuts. Go Clones!
Michael Qualls skying for the rebound and slam dunking it with .1 second left over Kentucky. The last second shot left the hand and crowd was quiet then Qualls streaks in from the corner and goes straight up as the ball hits the rim and goes up as well. Qualls one hand jam as you hear the rim bounce and the crows erupts. KY players have a WTF just happened look
This is a great video, but I don't know how you don't have Matt Sylvesters 3 pointer from 2005 OSU vs. Illinois, I was at that game and the crowd reaction was deafening!
The worst thing about all of these videos are the officials blowing their whistles, 45 times to try and stop the celebration to review an obvious made basket. So annoying
10:36 into this clip before we hear Gus Johnson is a miscarriage of justice. And one second before that the sight of Kevin Durant wearing a Texas jersey.
The only thing UK fans do when the Watford shot is mentioned is bring up that UK won the title that year. IU fans don’t give a damn, and it sure doesn’t change the fact that this was one of the greatest basketball moments of all time, especially considering where each program was at the time. Typical UK fans. Y’all have plenty to enjoy. Really dumb to be that salty about one game.
How are you gonna make a video with the best crowd reactions without mentioning at least one of the many games between Kansas State and Kansas. The crowd reactions are some of the most energetic in recent memory and are amazing environment to be a part of or to witness first hand. Don't get me wrong a lot of these clips are very Iconic but you can't just ignore one of the biggest rivalries in the last decade in one of the best basketball conferences in the NCAA.
Not a single game from Allen Fieldhouse in Kansas. The loudest indoor venue according to the Guinness book of world records. This makes a lot of since… smh
14:00 24:00 I know it’s not much from the world record holding arena, but I tried to put different schools in. I know that most crowd reactions videos have relatively the same clips (at least for college basketball). People wouldn’t watch this video if I put all of the same clips from other videos and creators.
The loudest indoor venue in NCAA or in the world? Because if you had a clue about European basketball (Olympiacos, Aris, Crevna Zvezda, Partizan, Macabbi Tel Aviv, Panathinaikos) then you will definitely laugh about NCAA "loud crowds". I mean look at those... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e4paDYdOZ9E.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O1rpCAmyYrQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1y0El4ZGrZs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zy1K5yNT6wc.html
Good enough compilation, I suppose. As usual though, afraid to venture outside the power 5 to find any content. I'll say this for the mid majors, since no one else will. I attented a semi final session of Arch Madness about 12 or 15 years ago. For those of you who aren't aware of college basketball outside of the power 5, Arch Madness is the conference tournament of the Missouri Valley. The Missouri Valley contains those mid major teams that the power 5 are terrified of playing. Count the Mountain West in there also as teams the power 5 are too scared to play. Anyway, getting back to the point, I was at a semi final session, not the final, the semi final. Bradley vs Southern Illinois.....a neutral court, not either team's home court. The stadium, which holds 25,000 easily was packed to the rack. My seat was at the tippy top of the stadium. For every minute of that game, for every basket made, every defensive stop made, that entire stadium rocked and shook. Again, mid major teams, neutral court, absolute chaos throught the entire game. This was not an isolated incident. That tournament has a tradition of well traveled support and highly competitive games.
