You have probably long forgotten about this comment but I just came across it and I am sending this one on to my nephews who are reaaally into puns at the moment. Thanks 😁
From the description I would have expected Mike to do the calamari (just felt like it was something he'd like), Jamie to have done the fish and chips (something "classic" that he would somehow make "ultimate"), and Baz to have done the poke bowl (just because it was the most oddball out of the three). Seems like everyone is flipping things around.
Liz Sordillo I actually feel like mike would’ve done the fish and chips because of the Thai background, and Jamie with the fried and the CHORIZO especially...
Several seasons ago Mike used to be my least favorite character on the channel but over the last two seasons, through his drive, ability to adapt towards the weekly and/or battle theme and his attention to detail Mike has gained my attention as far as Sortedfood characters goes. I love your honesty and passion for music. His thinking resoniates with me on a lot different levels and I can't thank you enough for inspiring me to become a better cook and person! Rock on Sortedfood! (ps, Mike: keep wrecking it!)
OMG it's the beginning of dad jokes. Watching all the videos chronologically is really such fun cuz you get to see these things for the very first time and you know where its started
I liked ben looking behind the camera and saying 'told you it was shit' more! Edit: I know its been 2 years, but I'm feeling shitty today and sorted vids almost always helps me feel better
One year later....as a seafood lover, I would LOVE to see absolutely ANY Sorted seafood themed video. This was great and gave me some new ideas for my favorite food. Please give more!
To quote Eddie Izzard, "“No, I wear dresses. They’re my dresses, I buy them. It’s like when women wear trousers, they’re not cross-dressing. They’re not wearing men’s trousers, they’re wearing trousers."
I was really happy when I saw the notification for this, cause I binge watched all of the ultimate battle videos the other day and was waiting for more🙊 AND i love seafood!!! good job, guys!
I can’t believe I’ve been here since before the introduction of “Dad Joke of The Week” segment (rewatched this just cause I had no more sorted video to watch hahaha)
#DadJokeofTheWeek What's the difference between a dirty bus stop and a large chested lobster? One's a crusty bus station and they other is a busty crustacean.
YES! Bring on the Dad Jokes!! This was one of the best videos I've seen here in a long time. (and they've all been pretty good) The costumes, the jokes, the excellent food, and even got a little James and Ed in there. Just lovely.
I have to say, I haven't always been the biggest fan of Barry's battle creations, but he really has been hitting them out of the park this year! Kudos to you, good sir!
im watching this and remembering old sorted videos when the lads would just watch, and look at em now. really proud to have been a subscriber to you guys. youve helped my cooking, and entertained me for years. thank you thank you
I’m from Hawai‘i (where poke and poke bowls originates). To be honest, when Jamie said he was making a poke bowl, I got really really scared cuz you know, food is an important part of my culture. I have to say I was impressed (and relieved) with the final result. Not too bad guys. I’ve never heard of putting lime or grapefruit on poke (like would be more of a ceviche thing) but it did look quite yummy! Also poke is pronounced more like poke-eh but i know you guys try your best!
Oh here we go. Look can we please not gatekeep food, of all things?? Foods are a part of *every single culture in the world* out of the most basic necessity, so why on earth does it matter enough if someone wants to throw grapefruit on their poke, make a paella burrito or even dump Heinz ketchup on their fuckin sushi or whatever? My mom is Scottish but the day she gives a single shit about how someone makes haggis is the day she's gonna need to reevaluate her entire life. If someone wants a traditional recipe, they can find one. If someone wants 'a twist' then why the hell does anyone care?
Lol mb you should care less about your food culture. Unless you are professionally trying to get offended. Poke bowl only has a cultural value in Hawaii, everywhere else it is just a great plate of food.
@@blueribenaberry if he was giving constructive critism and congradulated their effort, why would you be rude, it's his culture he has his opinion. You may not care about haggis but that does not mean every scot or Hawaiian is lesser for caring about their cultures.
I love that Baz is doing Calamari and yet he is dressed like the Gorton's Fisherman. I could have sworn when I saw his costume that he was going to do fish and chips.
This reminds me of when I found David dobriks channel and then binged every episode feel like I've been living under a rock then find a channel literally love
Really happy to see a Hawaiian dish on the show!! I usually love Jamie’s dishes, but this just made me ecstatic to have him make something from my culture!
This video just reaffirmed my love for seafood cos I want to eat them all! I would rank them exactly the same as Ben. Bonus points to Mike for rocking the goldfish outfit better than the model.
Same! It's a shame that more people don't enjoy it! I wanna go Korea an try the really fresh an different types of seafood they have, I always watch seafood Mukbangs at night 🤣🤣 Onwha and Yamiyami are faves to watch 🤣 x
This channel is super underrated. I've watched a lot of Masterchef series'. And I'd choose Sorted every time. I've been binge watching so much, I'm commenting on a damn old video. Love from RSA. Ja julle bliksems wat met ons baklei het lank gelede. Haha ons hou jul politiek steeds dop.
Fish and chips are a weakness of mine but Barry's calamari takes it as far as I'm concerned. Jamie's outfit is further proof that he needs his own comedy series.
giving me ideas for the next time I go fishing XD you guys should try some other fish asides from the staples like cod, mackerel and Dover Sole. My favourite eating fish in the UK is either black sea bream or gurnard (prefer the tub gurnard due to being larger) both fish are great and versatile with gurnard slowly becoming a foodie item.
It's impossible to choose between Mike's and Barry's! Both look amazing. Barry looks ridiculously adorable in that yellow outfit that I just wanna smoosh him
