I use the same thing but I made a wood block with a hole in it to fit the casing and the a hole all the way through to allow the spent primer to be punched out. Made a small wood box that the block moves around in about 3 inches tall with a stout bottom. When the block gets filled up with used primers I lift it up and the spent ones slide down to the corner of the box Then I sit in front of the TV depriming with the box in my lap. put deprimed casings into a little jar in the corner. wife gets a bit miffed if I hit a live primer.
it works better if you use a light weight tack hammer so that you still get the impact on the punch, but you have way less weight behind the punch driving it down once the primer actually breaks free. decreasing the chances of the punch running all the way down and becoming wedged in the primer pocket inside the casing.
Possibly, maybe some day you will snap a decapping pin and from a cough, cough you may not be able to get more because of supply chain issues 😉 I know its a stretch but we though that about being forced to stay home 10 years ago.
I've since tried it, it's not a great idea. You'll either ding the crap out of your brass if you leave the guide screwed into the cutter, or bend the threaded section if you don't. Socket and screwdriver is the way.
Yes, but you can clean and deprive a lot of brass before investing in the next step when you start, or you can deprive before cleaning in order to keep your dies from getting super dirty as well as get clean primer pockets that make priming easier.

I try to take jokes. I do have kids that watch some of my videos so I delete spam and swearing and that's it. RU-vid also delete comments as well. Especially when anti's flag them. They have gotten some of my own comments on my own page deleted.....
The fact that you took the time edit in a slide saying you’d delete any unwanted comments after saying something they can be misinterpreted into an inappropriate yet funny joke is why your channel will never grow this is the internet not Sunday dinner with grandma lighten up man. Dislike and not subscribing for me
