Vanessa is too performative and manipulative for me. It’s sad to see Xander protect and vouch for a person who doesn’t see much value in them.

When Xander genuinely brought up the idea that a couple would ever not BOTH be parents to a child, my heart sunk. Vanessa is so traumatizing on so many levels. It also makes perfect sense why Rae, who is very surface level and emotionally immature, fell for it. Tiff speaks on feelings and emotions as though they are a choice, like there's no awareness of natural chemistry.

In addition to the love bombing...Did y'all notice that Vanessa's favorite thing about Rea had nothing to do with Rea? It was all about how Vanessa couldn't figure her out... she just talked about how well she (Vanessa) can read people, and know all about them right away.

Aussie uses Aussie as a pronoun, not she/her or they/them. It's pretty easy to find online as soon as you start reading about the show, as are the other cast members' pronouns. I will say, a lot of the people on the show are also misgendering other cast members, which is a bit confusing. I'm not sure why that hasn't been addressed.
