I made a dumb meme comment on the OG video, so I wanted to use my comment on this one to share some strange UT trivia I know, and hope it may be used on the next iceberg sometime. -In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (of all friggin' movies), there's a character in one scene of a girl cosplaying as Undyne from the AU Underkeep by Rotodisk -While this theory was disproven shortly after, there were debates on if the Undertale rips uploaded to the RU-vid channel SiivaGunner were made by Toby. Back when the channel was owned by Chaze, he made it clear that this wasn't the case, but the reason people thought this was because most of the "highest quality" and popular ones were done by anonymous artists. -UnderEvent is an annually E3 esque event were people share their Undertale fan content such as fan games and animations. While currently only one has been held, it's looking to be the Undertale fandom's equivilent of F3, an E3 broadcast dedicated to fangames and romhacks -This one isn't really obscure information, I just think it's worth talking about. A lot of the UT music samples soundfonts used in SNES games. While you mentioned star.ogg, another notable example is Dogsong using the exact same Dog Barking sound clip from Mario Paint. -Undertale has been referenced in Pop Team Epic. -When your controller is disconnected in the PS4/XBOX versions, alternate text shows up depending on if the controller has been disconnected frequently, during dates with Papyrus and during the True Lab -Asgore is UT's equivilent of Santa Claus according to text in Snowdin -On the "Your Best Nightmare" shirt, available at Fangamer.com, morse code appears on the back that translates to YOU CALLED FOR HELP BUT NOBODY CAME" -This one's not specifically a theory or piece of trivia, but it's worth nothing how drastic Undyne's Concept Art is compared to her final design -Don't quote me on this, but I believe mus_smile.ogg, AKA Gaster's laugh, is actually a slowed down version of Muffet's laugh, surprisingly

Fun Fact: Contrary to popular belief, the mus_sfx_voice_jafe (also known as the sound effect of Flowey saying gay) is actually used in the game. It's used as an additional SFX in the Asriel Dreemurr battle during his "CHAOS SABER" attacks.

I personally like the theory that mystery man, and the redacted sprite are both different parts of gaster. Not only does it allow both theories to coexist, but it makes sense because if he was shattered through space and time, whatever, it could make sense that he would be in two or more places at once.

Bitbob isn't a name Tetrabit came up with, It's what it's called in the files, heck it's even the tab Icon for the cutting room floor. therefore Big Bob is a reference to Bitbob, probably because Toby frequents the cutting room floor.

There was something that was not mentioned in the iceberg and that I realized some time ago. The "Song that might play when you fight sans" is not used in the game because you never get to fight sans. Instead, it is sans fighting you. This is why, in the sans battle, you don't attack first but he does. That would also mean MEGALOVANIA is Frisk's theme and not sans theme.

The "Toby represents himself as a dog in-game" near the end had me *i m m e d i a t e l y* think _Toby's fursona is a dog,_ and I kind of hate myself for that.

About asgore, he’s also the one talking on the “game over screen” he’s the one saying things like “don’t give up” and he surely knows about saves and when you die. He could also have easy access to these kind of informations since he’s the king and he works with the Royale scientist/s. Alphys also surely knows something. I also have something to say about Papyrus continuing living after you “killed” him. There’s this fan game/fan fight (?) called Rejuvnation and its Papyrus (after you “killed” him) that got saved by Alphys and when you get to fight Sans, you aren’t at level 20 and Papyrus joins the fight.

5:10 I think I can explain this well Bone marrow mostly comes from the chest, arms, hips, and shoulders and skull, so Papyrus being decapitated wouldn't have much blood because there's no marrow coming from his neck

We should not wonder if Sans's red pixels were either blood or ketchup. We should think about if they even should been coloured at all. The only sprites coloured in undertale fights are weapons and attacks. During the date with Papyrus his spaghetti does not have ketchup on it and i think it was deliberate. I believe Sans's costume is black and white because it's an undertale costume and an undertale battle/overworld sprite and he's coloured under it just like a Deltarune battle/overworld sprite. It's also might be why his eye is blue and yellow, but it might as well be his weapon.

I think it would be a good addition to iceberg. In Undertale if you somehow make an error, you might get an error message. For example if you teleport from bar with sans(when you first interract with him in waterfall) in hotel, the bunny girl will say: "La la, time to wake up and smell the pain" or if you teleport back in waterfall and interact with sans, it would say: "FATAL ERROR" it's not even translated in korean nor japanese versions.

I'd imagine sans always carries ketchup specifically in-case he's stabbed, as a last, morbid joke or blood is added to sans as a "fuck it" to make the scene hit you in the feels a little harder, cause toby is a god damn genius when it comes to writing, even if sometimes it doesn't make sense

What I would have add in the Undertale iceberg: - Stronger than you - Undertale the Musical - Needles in cookies incident - Storytelling based on life ages theory - Suzy is Goner Kid theory - Further theories concerning Gaster's time travel and machine Concerning Sans' "blood", it's probable that it is ketchup, but some people theorized that it could also be some liquid determination that he injected in himself before confronting the player.

Can't wait for the new iceberg! Don't forget the Kyuu-Kyuu Kun appearance in one of the ogg’s spectrograms, if I'm not wrong in the Entry Number 17 sound effect. Found about it in r/underminers.

There are actually more characters that break the 4th wall than you think. As far as I'm aware Flowey, Froggit(tutorial ones), Toriel(references exact buttons you as a player have during the battle), Napstablook(reference the HP bar if you try to fight them), sans, PAPYRUS(references controls during the hangout/date), River Person(sometimes reference the date), Undyne(references the fact you're facing the wrong way if you're facing away from her attacks), basically every waterfall monster(they hear the *spooky* background music even if you leave Napstablook's house and go so far away that music shouldn't be heard anymore meaning they probably hear the track as an in-game BGM), Mad Dummy(the narrator states that Mad Dummy is "getting cotton all over the dialog box"), Alphys(references controls), Amalgamates(specifically the Reaper Bird which disguises as an alert bubble and changes its length based on the dialog box), Asgore and Chara break the 4th wall. I might've missed someone and Toriel and Undyne "4th wall breaks" are questionable but as you see A LOT of characters break the fourth wall. sans is just the only one who makes his knowledge of game's mechanics obvious.

Yay! Another cool enby youtuber. :) By the way, one thing I'd like to mention regarding Asgore's dialogue in the battle against him. While I can't say I know exactly what Toby's intentions behind the dialogue were (as his mind is truly an enigma sometimes), I highly doubt the agreement from Asgore is meant to be interpreted as a literal sign that he knows he's killed Frisk multiple times. Contextually, if he knew he was just going to kill Frisk over and over again with no end in sight, he'd have no reason to continue fighting; he already didn't want to fight Frisk in the first place, but felt he had to due to his duty as the king to return the monsters to the surface. If he knew that he had already killed Frisk before, he would also know that killing Frisk wouldn't bring him to that goal, and he wouldn't be attempting to do so in the first place. What I think this line is supposed to indicate is the weight that Asgore carries from having killed so many human children in an attempt to accomplish this goal. Before even meeting Frisk, he had killed 6 children, more than enough to scar him for life. So when he meets yet another child who he's forced to kill, and that child tells him that Asgore has "killed him many times already", Asgore is recalling the previous times he was in this exact situation; facing a young child in combat with the intention to kill. As such, he's forced to agree. What Asgore doesn't realise is that Frisk is being entirely literal, and not simply trying to remind Asgore of his past.

I have a theory that sans isn’t actually as powerful as he is in the genocide route. He may have absorbed some form of determination, because he has similar reality manipulation powers to Omega flowey/Asriel if you think about it. The determination is what’s actually “bleeding” out from him after being cut and it’s blending in with his own body collapsing on itself. Sans “sweating” is actually him starting to melt into an amalgamate like Undyne did at the end of her own fight when she became determined.

On the topic of sans not being a skeleton, I actually remember a youtuber named Gaijin Goombah made a bunch of videos about the cultural influences behind undertale's characters and in the video about Sans, I believe he said that Sans may be a "Revenant" which are from what I recall undead skeleton like creatures with the ability to think and act like a normal human and possibly even bleed although I'm not 100% sure about that one

further detail on the "Ball" secret: the jingle that plays is a clip from a town theme toby wrote for his friend Chess's old game project, "Item Haver." i dont remember anything else about it, not even sure if shes still working on it or if shes doing other stuff now

A lot of people say redacted has more evidence to be gaster, but I disagree. Redacted: Talks in wingdings... Mystery Man: Appears to be shattered across time and space looking at his crack. Appears similar to a skeleton, Gaster is believed to be a skeleton due to him also being named after a font most likely. Isn’t gray like Gaster followers, showing he’s atleast higher up or more important/different than them. Has error messages in Deltarune referring to him and gaster: “Is that a crack on your face, or part of your eye?” “The gash weaves down as if you cry.” “The pain itself is reason why.” “Blueprints. You can’t read the symbols they’re written in.”

I loved your format in the last video. Do you think you could do a video on the a hat in time iceberg, and maybe other icebergs as well?

2:50 I think I know where you got that from, I’ve heard the exact same thing before. The RU-vidr IntroSpective said something like that jokingly in his video about Sans being in Smash Ultimate. Considering the fact that Sakurai complimented Toby’s skill in Smash, its not entirely out of the question. Toby is totally the type of guy to make a bet like that too.

Someone has a really fun art interpretation of the room_water wingdings guy and they basically drew them as mystery man but with the head melting, I've completely forgotten the artist since it has been 2 years since I've been in the fandom (your iceberg video gave me a fuckton of nostalgia).

The thing is, when Sans walks off screen after you beat him, the death sound plays, implying Sans died and dissipated, like all monsters do, implying he’s a monster.

I just wanted to tell you a fun fact you could put in when you tackle the new iceberg One mentioning of Bepis in the code is a picture that says, “You know what I hate? That’s Bepis. The taste, the smell, the texture... hey, you’re drooling.” This line of text is used in Earthbound where one NPC in Moonside starts to talk about how much he hates whatever you put as your favorite food. So there’s a good chance that Toby has a Earthbound save file where he put his favorite food as Bepis...

I really don't like the "sans blood is ketchup" thing because it sounds like a cop out in all honesty and takes away from a lot of the Dramatic weight killing him brings. It being blood adds so much more impact to what is already a grim scene.

Hey, this may be a little too late, but at the end of the hard mode demo as well, Toby says "Don't you have anything better to do?" In the same scene, Flowy comes in and also tries to say it but gets cut off by Toby who says he already said it.

1:50 One thing I feel like mentioning is that there's also a Gaster tarot card which pretty much confirms that he is the mystery man since the card also displays the grey door from waterfall. Also there are 4 symbols in the corners of the card, one of them being a gaster blaster and another being a cracked bone, suggesting that he may be a skeleton, therefore making the theory that he's the father of Sans and Papyrus even more believable. Can't wait for the next iceberg!

"Papyrus survived" might be about you fighting a statue while actual Papyrus sits somewhere and shoots bones at you, just because even when Papyrus starts talking his statue doesn't move. Plus, when a monster dies, he turns to dust FULLY, not by parts. Actual Papyrus may be the person you see while standing on a cliff, he may be the person in the distance

I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned this but the "burning hands" bit might be referring to Hamon/ the Ripple, a martial arts technique used in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure that usually is depicted with the user appearing to burn up or glow, usually around the hands.
