He is a good coach for sure he stabilized Mainz, did a good job at Dortmund and PSG but not outstanding. Im a dortmund Fan. We played some good football with Tuchel but not outstanding. He won the champions league with Chelsea for sure but he mostly took over the team from lampard and won the 2 most important match ups. Not like Klopp for example who took over a struggling dortmund and Liverpool and turned both of them in a couple of years into cup winning beasts haha. However I hope Tuchel will find a new club to stay for a longer time to finally proper develop something.

This Bayern team, on paper, is more than good enough to be in the title until the very last match day. They’re also good enough to have a decent shot at Champions League. They’re also financially healthy. Juves issue is they made some dumb financial decisions. Getting CR7 was foolish in hindsight but Covid hit and match day revenue would’ve balanced things out. Getting Higuain for 90 million when he only had a couple decent seasons left in him was dumber. Love Higuain but he’s a known choker in big games compared to CR7. Juve haven’t entirely recovered from that and their bigger transfers haven’t entirely delivered. Getting top 4 is looking unsure but Juve HAVE to get top 4 if they wanna rebuild. We’re also pretty desperate financially to get at least into the final of Coppa Italia in order to qualify for the Supercoppa for an extra maybe 3-5 million if we win. Sorry for the long explanation, just wanted to clarify. But both boards have made dumb decisions, they do have that in common.

@@iamdc21 yeah free transfers sound good in theory but for Juve and Serie A in general 6-7 million salaries aren’t that cheap compared to what La Liga and EPL pay. We’d like to get Jorginho next season and I think he’s a great player and still has something to offer but historically as you said, free transfers haven’t quite worked out too well for us.
